It is thick and durable. I was able to buy this 6 foot CAT8 for a great price a few weeks ago. Looks like it will last for a long time. My 1Gbps fiber connection is overprovisioned with this cable, so my throughput is well over 1Gbps. I like the latch that allows me to quickly and easily disconnect it from the ethernet port. It is rated for up to 40GB, so it should be more than enough for most people. The purchase I made is quite satisfactory to me!.

We all prefer original equipment, but it eventually ages and breaks. It never occurred to me that something as simple as an Ethernet cable could affect the performance of a computer. The one I had was over 3 years old and had to be replaced. Unlike the old cable, which was probably a 5 or a 6, this one is a category 8 cable. The difference is huge. I noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my computer. Can't ask for more than I've got. I'm glad I spent the money on it. It is very durable and made to last.

This is awesome! It's saved as a tool in fact. I have to snake a cable through dusty dry wall in my house, I'm going to use it to secure the connector's pins so I don't have to clean them! 1) The complaint was that it was difficult The way it was presented to me felt When you pinch the tab, it will release! The cable seems to be well constructed and fits well into the RJ45 female connector. I ran a continuity test and it came back This is, of course, a bare necessity. The results have been good so far! The Cat6 and Cat7 cables I'm replacing are failing, and I hope they can be replaced soon!.

That took a long time for my computer to respond. Using this Ethernet cable, I hardwired my computer and that didn't speed up the process at all. I had a computer crash because of this. It was my 3rd day using it when I stopped using it. I am a tech savvy person and this product didn't work as expected for me. Normally I have a speed of 900 Mbps but when I hard-wired the Ethernet, it reduced to 300 Mbps. As far as this product is concerned it is not good. I would rate it zero if it had an available option to choose from.
