Yes, it's a CL2 rated device. We have no problems with it in the ceiling, but I'm not going to run it through any HVAC plenums.
I connected my Gateway computer to a modem with the cable. In your case, I'm not sure if it would work. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Patching network cables is nothing more than a simple process. Slower switches are compatible. It's important to remember that this is CAT 8, which means it's designed for higher speeds. They haven't caused me any problems.
It's supposed to work on anything up to Cat 8?

I was in desperate need of a new set of cables. My previous ones were extremely old and out of date. The tips of the cables were broken and ripping apart. It was preventing me from fully utilizing my internet capabilities. When I was watching Netflix, things would always have to load, and I knew I could be faster when I was online gaming. As a result, I resolved to take action. br>br>These cables are not only attractive, but they also perform admirably. The power disparity is immediately apparent. These cables are clearly utilizing my internet to the fullest extent possible. My Netflix doesn't have to pause in the middle of a show to load, and even the home screen loads faster. I recently purchased a PS5, which is ideal for my new console. br>br>PROSbr>There are a variety of length options to choose from, making it very convenient for YOU, the shopper. br>br>The cable has a firm but flexible feel to it. I recently made the decision to install an Alexa system in our house. Two Echo studios, an Echo Sub, and a Fire TV cube. Our current LG 65" 4K UHD Television, as well as lighting, etc. I thought I had everything set up correctly, but I wasn't getting the quality I had hoped for. Initially, I used the CAT 6 cables that we already had. I discovered that CAT 8 is now the cable of choice for this type of system. br>br>After weighing all of the options on Amazon, I decided on the CAT 8 cable that I thought provided the best value for the money. Now that I've used it for a while, I can confidently say that I made the right decision. My home system has seen a significant improvement. Dolby Atmos was activated, resulting in a significant increase in the speed of the Fire TV cube's delivery as well as the image quality. br>br>I spent a lot of money on my Alexa system, buying all of the most cutting-edge components available. I now understand that having a high-quality CAT 8 cable is essential for getting the most out of this system. When I bought the "Cat 8 Ethernet Cable, 50ft Heavy Duty High Speed Internet Network Cable, Professional LAN Cable, 26AWG, 2000Mhz 40Gbps with Gold Plated RJ45 Connector, Shielded in Wall, Indoor," that's exactly what I got. Vabogu's "Outdoor" WEI can be found on Amazon. br>It's tough but flexible, a direct replacement for the CAT 6 cable it replaced, easy to install, and appears to be indestructible. br>br>Rick br>br>.
My application isn't like everyone else's. This cable is used to connect a Bose sound system to my computer. It connects the power base and the Bose mixer. The cable that comes with that system is extremely stiff, and I have my doubts about it. VERY rigid. When I was preparing for a show, it almost failed; A 40-minute panic ensued as a result of this. br>br>This cable is shielded, which Bose requires, and it is sufficiently flexible. It doesn't put the same amount of strain on the connectors as the original cable, which is great given the high cost of Bose audio equipment. br>br>I highly recommend this cable if you need flexibility. I'm also planning on purchasing the 3' version, as it will improve the 'look' of our stage. br>br>I work in IT as well. My previous remarks are applicable to network installations. I recently purchased a separate router, and using this cable, I was able to make my internet more stable and faster than before. br>br>Online games have no lag at all, and at times have the lowest ping. Would strongly suggest: br>br>.
