I needed to connect my computer on the other side of the house, so I purchased this cord. I didn't do a speed test when I first plugged it in, but it worked fine. I then used the included clips to hang the cord. It took the entire morning, but it turned out well, and I was pleased. br>br>When I turned on the computer after lunch, it said "no internet connection. " "I spent about an hour troubleshooting before it connected again on its own. I'm not sure why it suddenly decided to connect, so I ran a speed test and discovered that it was no faster than my cat 6 cable! It was on par, if not a smidgeon slower! After that, it disconnected once more. I didn't do anything this time. After 15 minutes, it connected again at random. br>br>It is still connected to the internet as I type this. I expect it to disconnect once more. I'm extremely upset. I'd like to return this item, but the 100 feet of cable is already neatly tucked away on my walls and around my door frames. When I'm no longer angry, I'll begin removing all of the clips.

So we didn't try the clips yet because we couldn't position them exactly as planned because this wasn't quite long enough. That, however, is entirely our fault because we should have measured rather than assumed. However, it performs exactly as expected and hoped for, with good solid feeling connector ends, cable that lays flat and is unobtrusive, and a quick connection. I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the specifications, but it meets our needs. It's a hundred feet from our main floor gateway to a PS4 in the basement, which is poured concrete. This location's and connection's wifi speeds were less than 5mbps, despite the fact that 30-minutes were available. 45 in any other room of the house It takes an average of 40-minutes with a wired connection. With a 100-foot cable, we got 50 Mbps, which was more than we expected. Overall, we're very pleased with it, both aesthetically and in terms of performance; too bad it can't magically grow to 20 feet, but it's currently anchored along the floors rather than where we wanted it to be.

They boost our internet and wireless speeds by a factor of two! It was a significant improvement. We have fiber internet, so our internet was already fast, but installing these cat 8 cables and replacing the cable company's cheap ones WOW, highly recommended.

Because I used a cat 6 and had a lot more time for meditation and contemplation while my pages loaded for work and shook, if you work from home and need time to make a sandwich or like to use the excuse of internet problems, either don't buy this or unplug it from time to time. Now, webpages load before my brain registers that my fingers have selected to open my most recent work or school assignment, so proceed with caution and make sure you want more reliable internet on your device before ordering.

This cable is ideal for my job-related needs. from- a personal computer After a month of full-time use, there have been no technical issues. It came with enough hangers for my needs (roughly 80 feet of linear travel from modem to computer, with fairly close spacing). My only gripe is that, despite being flat, this cable is still too thick to easily close one of the doors through which it must pass. This was not an issue with the 50-foot cable I was using because it was thinner. If your doors have a low floor clearance, this is something to consider.

I had to run this along the alleyway on the outside of my house, and I plumbed it in parallel with some electrical pipes. Everything fits snugly and smoothly through the stucco with just a hammer. It appears to be in good condition and functions well.
