My cat6 cables (5 7 foot cables) arrived today after I ordered them a day before Thanksgiving. My internet service went from 512Kbps to 1Gbps, so I had to upgrade these cables. As I only had one cat6 cable at my disposal, I could check out my new connection. As of today, I had the new cables installed. It would be nice to have two of these Alternatively, there are two cables one from the router to the computer, and one from the router to the It was a surprise when I connected the computer to the router with a standard cable. I regret to inform you that CableMatters Cat6 cables are garbage. As our company's communication infrastructure has grown very large, we were experiencing problems of all sorts. Then, one day, a bad cable was diagnosed as the cause of one of the problems. It's all right. We all know how that goes. It is not uncommon for cables to fail. As a result, we slowly began to consider that our other issues were probably cable-related. Each one after the other. There were different cable lengths (and thus different sales packages), and we discovered that the gremlins were caused by bad cables, and all of the pulled bad cables came from CableMatters. In comparison to their product, we had no issues with any of the other cables we used. Our cat6 cables are still working fine using other cables we've used previously.

This cable is great. In February, I purchased a lot of these to network my mining rig with Netgear switches and they've been running great since. In spite of its high price, the cable does not feel cheap. The prices aren't too high, but we don't have any network problems or anything like that. Also, this runs after the 100 ft Cat6 cable that connects my house to my I have had one of these for a few months now and it is holding up well to both the cold and the heat. Overall great product, I would buy another one. Overall, Cable Matters has consistently great cables, and I don't get paid to review their products (no, I don't get paid for my Amazon reviews). I was also pleased to discover that you get a lot of small zip ties with the package. Zip ties have never been an important part of my network cable arranging until recently, but now I have like 200+ zip ties in different colors (clear, green, blue, one other color I cannot remember, I was able to use it for other items as well!.

The arris nvg599 router patch cable is made from a rj45 plug that is 9 inches wide and has both ends filed evenly. To fit the rj11 socket, it must be 82 mm in size.
