Questions & Answers

On the M575 are the clicks just as loud as on the M570? This is so loud on webex that people ?

There is a substantial reduction in the noise of both left and right mouse clicks, and the middle mouse button is greatly dampened over the M570. There are sounds that are different in the video, and I hope that is captured appropriately. My M570 roller ball is smoother than my M575 roller ball as well–I switched them out for a less bumpy roller ball

Can you tell me if the switches are of better ?

The verdict is still too early, to be honest. As part of its improvements to their microswitches, Logitech says they now offer a wider assortment. There was a recurrent problem with old M570s after a year or two This is a hard use after 3 years. However, it is too early in the product cycle for us to know what the new model will look like. I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt since, supposedly, they use the same microswitch as the MX Ergo (and more of the reviews there discussed the switch failure), so I'm assuming this isn't a fault of the M570. The only thing that is telling is that Logitech has shortened its warranty period to just a In general, you should follow these guidelines Certainly, but the fact that the company gave 3 years of warranty on the M570 and its history of failures isn't really a vote of confidence.

A Macbook Pro M1 does not have a USB port, so I wonder if the dongle that comes with the mouse is a usb-compatible dongle. Could you please tell me which ?

A Bluetooth module is included in the M575's design. You don't need a Bluetooth dongle, if you have a Macbook Pro with built-in Bluetooth. If not, you can purchase a Bluetooth dongle A USB-sized dongle comes with the M570, but it's just for connecting to computers A thought comes to mind.

A first release date of January 2021 has been provided. Is that why the comments were made years ago?

This one is the older model out of the two I already had, so it must be the newer one. However, it looks exactly like the one I used to have. Trackball placement, button shape, button shape, etc. are all the same.

This is a much nicer car than the M575 This M570 is a production model, but does it have the same lifespan as other My reaction to having the M575
5/5

was instant, I had to write this review. Even straight out of the box, it is impressive. In my opinion, once you become familiar with a trackball you'll never want to go back to a mouse again. A very old pair of M570's I have is the M570N. To own them is a dream come true. Logitech no longer makes them and recent reviews have confirmed that the most recently produced ones are not even close to the older ones when it comes to quality or durability. The use of one of my M570s has been light, while the use of the other has been heavy. After a prolonged period of heavy use, the left click button became wonky on that particular model. Recent reviews indicate that manufacturers were trying to hold down the price of the newer M570s by remaking them "cost effectively. " They are now prone to failure fairly easily as a result. In any case, you would be better off buying one of the M575s if you would save the money you would have spent on one of the remaining M570s. There is more room to move around, the button clicks are much more responsive, and the scroll wheel rolls much more smoothly in a notch. Style-wise, it appeals to me most because it seems to be made out of slightly better materials, plus it comes in blue It isn't important to me what the tooth looks like (which is totally irrelevant to me). All the features of the M575 are better than those of In addition, it is nice to use an ordinary battery instead of a rechargeable one, but this is strictly a matter of personal preference. An AA battery works forever in this device. If you are considering the M570, just go ahead and spend the extra money for the M575. It is really much nicer to use the M575. It will be interesting to see if M575 can match the longevity and durability of the original M570s (mine are so old that I do not remember having them before).

I don't like this at all! Originally published as In my original review, I stand by it

The trackball and the old computer were taken on vacation with me, so I'm editing it there. Following my return home, I began using my new computer and trackball once more. I cannot even imagine what my old trackball was like compared to my new one! The one we are talking about (M575) is absolute garbage! This piece of junk will be used on my old computer, and I plan on rearranging my arrangement so that I can use my old trackball with my new I strongly recommend you to take your business elsewhere and do not purchase The product is really of poor quality. I have tried two units so far, and I haven't encountered the quality or craftsmanship I have been used to with Logitech. This is the original review Following installation, "left click" was unable to pop up after it was pressed for a few days. Once I use it for a while, I have to manually pull the button back up so that I can use it again. As a result, it again fails. It's impossible to left click anymore, and moving the mouse results in everything being "selected" even when I don't intend to select anything at all. I find it a pain when I need to write correspondence or even my review when it drags the words around! The previous models I've owned are all from their previous line. I've owned 5 or 6 of them. Even more of the previous models have been purchased by me for my staff. I always thought they were of high Currently, I'm not sure if the "newer model" is simply not made like the older models, or if I just have a defective one. In fact, had I not thrown away the box soon after installing it, I would have returned it. The thing is, I think that it is just not made well, so I am looking to see what other brands provide.

Make sure you don't clash with other bluetooth Wasted a lot of time getting something to work that should work right out of the box

Since years ago I have made use of a Logitech M570 mouse on computers at work and at home. They are awesome! Therefore, I was excited to find that the model had been updated, and I My excitement is not as great as it once was. Setting it up via Bluetooth on my new computer was just like setting up the old M570 on the old computer. My Bluetooth headphones have been put on to listen to music now. It is the staccato of mouse interference that makes the music irritating. Once I turned off the mouse music, I was fine. I believe I did not encounter any problems. It is just the dongle I will use. Connected the dongle to the PC and removed the mouse from the list of blue tooth devices on the PC. There is nothing! The computer has been reset, everything has been tried The above method is unlikely to I used my laptop M570 to try the unifying software. As I had to remove my old laptop dongle to connect the new mouse to its dongle, I had to unplug it. The attempt fails. The mouse is essential for using software. The package is packed and will be returned The spare M570 has already been ordered and the new M570 has already been ordered. In the event that they die, I will look elsewhere if this is Logitech's only trackball offering. An easy way to solve this problem is to turn off the Bluetooth. Even if a method exists, I haven't been able to discover.

If you're an old-school Logitech trackball user, then this is the product for you! Having owned most of the Logitech trackballs over the years, with a bit of a pause for laptop and desktop touchpad use in recent decades, I have owned most of their trackballs

I bought a trackball two years ago called the MX Ergo. This is a good product but it is expensive and does not feel Unlike mine, mine has the tilting aluminum base, but without the extra rubber base, and it is far taller than I need it to be. It is amazing how wonderful the M575 is. I received it a few days ago, and I love On a mac, you need a free app called Sensible Side Buttons for the nav buttons to function, but other than that it functions without a hitch. In an attempt to replace the Ergo on my Linux box with a M575, I might switch to the latter.
