3 years ago, I got this. Our child has been using it and finds it to be very useful. We bought another for our younger child in March because it worked so well. I worked for a week and then my headphones and microphone stopped working. Thought our child had done something, but was unable to return because the original packaging had been thrown away by the children. I opened it thinking the connections were loose, but they were not, and I recently ordered another for $15 more, but it stopped working after only a week. I gave it back to her. br>Kids were at ease, but the quality of the experience had deteriorated. It is not something I would purchase again.
I've owned three of these, and on two of them, the microphone stopped working for no apparent reason after a short period of use; the sound is good, and they're comfortable, but I won't buy them again due to the microphone issue.
I spend a lot of time on the phone and dictating. This is the second time I've purchased this headset in the last few years. People say they can clearly hear me despite the microphone's low volume. I do a lot of dictation using Nuance Communications speech recognition software (including in the Epic health information management system), and it works great with this headset. I can't comment on the speaker quality because I don't use it to listen to music, but I can clearly hear people. On my head, it's quite comfortable. The only issue I have is that after wearing it for a long time in the summer, my ears sweat. The mic wire in it broke after three years of daily use, so I had to buy a new headset. My wife has trouble wearing it, as well as any other headset of this type, because it causes her earrings to rub against her neck, which is uncomfortable. It's fine if you don't have any earrings.
It worked perfectly for six months before bricking. It won't connect to a USB port on multiple machines. Internally, I'm unsure what went wrong.
It clings to your head so tightly. In 15 minutes, my ears were in excruciating pain; Aside from that, everything is fine.
I bought these headphones to use for my remote job, and they're great. These are USB Headphones, and they're comfortable enough for me to wear for a few hours. If you're looking for something to use for calling, these will suffice. These headphones are compatible with the system used at my place of business, which is why I chose the Microsoft LifeChat LX-100. Headset model 3000. 👍.
Since we started working remotely last year, I've used a lot of headsets, but now that we're back in the office, this one works great with Microdoft Teams for remote work and Dragon Professional for dictation.
It is unquestionably good value for money!.
