In short, yes. Installing Unifi Controller on a PC is necessary for setting up a wireless profile. After that, you can plug them into the controller and they should be seen. They are provided with the profile you set up once you have adopted them. This is why they pass things back and forth in offices and all over. With a second pack, you can continue to add to them.

It's great to have access to these points. Due to my existing infrastructure, I was able to install these in no time. I found the installation to be painless and fast, and the instructions were extremely good. 18 wireless devices are currently being powered by the two APs, which means I'm still using 15% to 20% of their In addition to those five FireTV sticks, all the devices are streaming 1080p at the same time with no problems. Also, there are no dead spots in my two story house anymore due to the great coverage.

Bought two of these devices at retail

Used device for retail price. It was used both times and was re-used The boxed version. Most of the screws in the device weren't even in a ziplock bag, so it wasn't even reset to factory settings. 299. I am not concerned with how long they work so long as they function. It is not fair to charge 99 dollars for 2 used devices that aren't noted as being used.

I have used this equipment for about two years now and it works well, but I just recently bought this place and so it happens that this equipment is locked by territory, but nowhere it says it is. In the absence of my return, I now have two APs to serve as paper weights, since I cannot return to my home.

My TP Link 300MPS was replaced with these and it worked like a charm! While the kids used the wireless for gaming and streaming TV at the same time, the TV stayed on.

Product was ok. One arrived as expected, one did not. I had to pay Ubiquiti $20 to ship the product back. We are now able to access both access points.

Everything works like a charm! You must first configure the Unifi Controller before you use, so you will need a bit of technical know-how! However, other than that, this is leagues ahead of CISCO wireless APS and RUCKUS wireless APS! Gigabit Switch is also supported, so no messy power sockets required, just a single network cable powered by POE Gigabit Switch and you are ready to surf the net!.
