Using One Mesh software, the RE300 can function as a traditional range extender or as a mesh module with a traditional Archer 7 if it runs the traditional range extender style.

I like it, but the service is horrible, and the app needs a bit of As a smart home enthusiast, I purchased the Mesh system believing it would work with all my These networks were what I needed, since they run on 4 and 5 GHz
3/5

The thing they do not tell you is that you can't turn off either the 5 GHz or the 2GHz of the M3 when it comes to the M 3. 4. You may need to do this. The system also features four hardwired smart switches and four 4 GHz radios. There seems to be no differentiation between the 5 and the When I connect my phone to 5, it automatically connects to 4. The apps that accompany my phone do not work when I try to set up the cameras and switches. The either flat out tell me I need a 2 or they try to make me feel like I don't have one. Unless they are connected to a 4 GHz network, they just hang. Whatever the case is, the M5 and higher DO allow the switch to be toggled off for In case of need, 4 may be used. This is not the case with the M3. It wasn't there in the awful instructions (50 languages, size 3pt text), nor was there anything on the website unless you searched deep into the community forums. It appears a firmware update is coming out soon to rectify this issue. That's why I don't get why they didn't include it in the first place. As a result, I wait for now. There will be no cameras, nor will there be an office light, but I guess that's okay. While I am waiting, I can continue to use the old router.

It's better to hope you enjoy the process of setting up your electronics at The best part is when it works! In the month that I have had this unit for 7 months, I have had to reset and set everything up Randomly, the system will stop working, and a hard reset is all it takes to get it working again
5/5

It is impossible to reset the app in any way that would help. The first thing you need to do when resetting the system is create a new WiFi name since you are not allowed to use any of the WiFi names you used before or the process will halt and you have to begin all over again. Changing your WiFi name will not only require you to change your username, you will then have to use your new login info on every device at home! For instance if you have Alexas, smart plugs, smart TVs, Rokus, computers, Xbox, and so on. It will take you at least an hour to get everything back online in your life! My ears are burning! I am irritated! In my experience, customer service didn't help much in solving this issue, as they told me I had to hard reset the system when these problems occur! Like I said, when things are going well, they're going well. It's a real pain when it's down, but now it's even worse!.

I am very impressed with the The Amplifi MESH network is the one I'm using in my house, and it In addition to this system being for my mother's house, we also purchased an outdoor lighting system
3/5

As a token of our appreciation for her over the holidays, we bought her a new laptop for Christmas after we noticed it didn't have any WiFi in her house. In order to make sure she had a strong connection and maximum speed for all of her devices, I did some research. It took us some time to research and read reviews before we purchased this system. Having purchased and received this system, we are ready to install it. The next day, she invited me over to her house. I spent about fifteen minutes on it Getting everything configured, set up, and tested to my satisfaction took me 20 minutes. A speed test was conducted before the installation of the system in different parts One hundred megabits per second is centralized in the middle of the house. The back bedrooms were at 10mbps, and the upstairs was at the same speed. A large number of dead spots were also found in the basement. Upon retesting the system after installation, I found that the back bedrooms were at *78mbps, while the upstairs was at the same speed. There were no dead spots in the basement, and it had 65 Mbps. As a tech-savvy person, I have a lot of experience with The price point is very good for this little system, and it's pretty impressive. suggest this system as a more economical alternative to my $300 Amplifi system, yet with the same quality of sound.

If you want all of your security taken away, you should buy
5/5

The router cannot be set up without the use of a third-party application via a smart phone or tablet. After that, you will need to fill out all the information on your device and create a username (e. g. The only way to use your device without having to go through TPS is By getting their permission, you can link to them). It is not possible to connect directly to the router from your device. The Post - It even has access to your passwords and, if you have anything related to IoT or security devices, it can access those as well. The way they look through my security cameras to spy on us is hilarious to me!.

Everything seems to be going well so far
3/5

It's been a day since this mesh wifi was set up, and everything seems to be working fine so far. The internet speed has doubled in the far corners of my home, so I tested it. Their presence on the walls is barely noticeable. It took me a while to download the app and I really like how easy it is to install. My favorite thing about the app is how convenient it is. I can also monitor/restrict what my kids do on the internet by using the app's parental controls.
