In addition to 5 GHz, yes.

Is there a one-year seller warranty or a 90-day Amazon guarantee?

The seller is responsible for the one-year Verizon FIOS warranty. Thank you very much for your query.

Is there a limit to the number of devices I can connect?

There is no limit to the number of devices that can be used. One WAN ethernet port and four regular ethernet ports are available. The majority of people, including myself, connect via wifi, with the only limiting factor being the amount of band width available. You get what you pay for when it comes to (speed). I usually have three PCs connected via ethernet: one for work at home, two iPhones, two iPads, three televisions, and a business phone.

I hope this information is useful to someone; I wish I had it when I was shopping for a home
4/5

First and foremost, this router works as expected for any Central Jersey FIOS customer, and I assume any other FIOS users, at least in the Northeast and probably nationwide. br>br>As an experienced IT worker who worked 19 years at a very (very) large telecommunications company, I was very familiar with items like this from my job. br>br>Personally, I like to save a couple hundred dollars every time Verizon comes out with their latest and greatest. br>b I don't need their latest and greatest router because I/we don't play video games, and they're usually an overkill of bandwidth that you'll never use. I did this the last time around about 7ish years ago when I bought their 'old' Actiontec m424WR Rev. 1 router after they upgraded to this model, the Verizon FiOS Quantum Gateway G1100 AC1750 router (which I believe is still being sold by someone on the Zon). Because they now install, rent, and sell the Verizon FiOS G3100, I missed out on their last 'fire sale' of this model. As a result, I was forced to conduct an internet search, which led me to this location. This Verizon router isn't the cheapest, but it's close, and the Zon's 90-day warranty is a plus. The specs on the G3100 show it's about 5ish times faster than the Actiontec in lab under perfect conditions with much higher service, which I thought was worth something to me. br>br>The specs on the G3100 show it's about 5ish times faster in lab under perfect conditions with much higher service, which I thought was worth something to me. Still, I figured it'd be a step forward, with more range and possibly no need for a kitchen repeater. This model is not new, but it has been used, repackaged, and cleaned – because routers have no moving parts, they should last a lifetime unless they are connected to an unprotected outlet and experience a line surge. br>br> So I bought it and saved $210, and I've had it up for three weeks with no problems. br>br>I've also compiled relative before/after speeds of my old router vs new, using my older iPhone and even older Dell laptop, on my 'only'** Verizon 100Mbps service, late at night:

< Wiring the Laptop directly to the new router would be even faster, but I’t test that, even though my assumption is that it would be at its theoretical max of about% and the above should only be used to see what relative improvements I got with the newer/last generation Verizon routerbr>br>It's also worth noting that my older Verizon router did the job for me, granted that I had 100 Mbps service. We have several smart TVs, a smart receiver, four iPhones, two Apple Watches, a WIFI repeater, and my backup generator are all on it. My two daughters both have access to the internet, and I have FIOS TV service. However, the older router's range was not that great (see note above about WIFI repeater), and I figured it was time to upgrade, especially for under $100 – I have not yet tested the new router's range, but I expect it to be much improved both inside the house at my dead spot, and outsidebr>br>** Verizon now sells gigabit service, but you also have to buy/rent one of those new routers, which is truly overkill – why? , well, due to protocol overhead, you'll never get the advertised speeds, and your weakest link – i. e. your modem – will throttle it. , which is typically a physical device such as a laptop or an iPhone - What devices are available today that can handle gigabit speeds? Perhaps your nuclear reactor control roombr>br>You can verify this for yourself. You can get by with much less speed than even my 100mbps if you Google "what is the maximum speed I need for my home WIFI. " Depending on the concurrent usage and what it is (internet vs streaming/gaming), you can get by with much less speed than even my 100mbps. So save your money and don't buy the overpriced items. Gigabit speedsbr>br>As for my old Actiontec, it's getting a new lease on life at my one-child apartment – NICE! br>br>The picture above shows it comes with a Verizon Quick Setup guide – well, that never happened; instead, I got a postcard-sized three-step setup that basically showed you how to connect your cable, plug it in, and you're good to go. You can look for the user guide on the internet (I forget where), but note that the PDFs at Verizon are corrupted, so look elsewherebr>For their failure to provide a user guide of any kind, or a link to a working PDF, I have to give them one starbr>br>Finally, of course, you can buy another non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non-working non- You can upgrade to a cable input router for a little more money and get even better performance, but that requires running CAT5 or higher Ethernet cable from the unit where your fiber comes in, changing the output configuration at the unit, and then calling Verizon to change the protocol back on their end, which they obviously don't want to do – personally, I didn't want any part of this because I already have a nice cable setup on my wall for my router to plug into. Finally, here's a fantastic tip that will save you hours of time. You can change the ID and PW of this router after it is first booted up by logging in as admin using your browser. Change it back to your old ID and PW if your old ID and PW were secure. why . Then you won't have to re-enter your information. Set up your smart TVs, a smart receiver, iPhones, IWatches, repeater, and backup generator – just reading this long review is worth it. br>br>I hope this helps someone on the fence about purchasing this product.

Better than the Fios Gateway that was just released
4/5

This was purchased to replace my Verizon rented Gateway router. Before the "upgrade" to the newer router, I believe I had this router. After the newer router failed, Verizon sent me a replacement, which also failed, so they sent me another, which also failed. They then sent me another router, which also failed. They dispatched technicians twice and rewired everything, but the issue was due to faulty routers. Because of the coax connection, you will need a Verizon router if you want to use their TV service. The router and my internet have been stable so far, despite the fact that it has only been a few days. There is some concern that the signal will fade over time, but the connection will remain intact. br>br>It turns out that I didn't need the Verizon router after all because I cancelled my TV service, but I'll keep it for now. If you need Verizon TV, Live TV (YouTubeTV) is a good option. br>br>If you don't, there are other options.

Exactly as stated
5/5

With my old Verizon actiontec router, I could only get 30/30. 100/100 is what I pay. Rather than renting from Verizon, I figured that purchasing it would save me money in the long run. It was a simple plug-and-play system. There's no need to call Verizon, and there's no need to be bothered. Even with multiple smart TVs, multiple echoes, phones, thermostats, and a ring security system streaming, the internet speed is now greater than 100/100. 5 stars for ease of setup and receiving exactly what I paid for!.

It is compatible with Verizon
5/5

It was a cinch to use. br>Had a problem because I was doing a self-installation and tried to activate the connection before my'start date,' but calling Verizon tech support got it activated and working. br>Product is exactly what it says it is, and the router's range and speed are excellent.

G100 is an ideal bridge if you already have a router
5/5

I chose to use my own router, but Verizon does not allow it because you must connect the voax cable to receive an internet signal. The Fios customer service department attempted to bill me. 300 for a wifi 6 router that will be used as a bridge So, I purchased a quantum G1100 and configured the bridge on my own. By the way, my WiFi network is supported by an ORBI AX4200 router. It's highly suggested!.

Verizon Fios has a great dual-streaming service
4/5

router with multiple bands To replace an older Mi424wr single-port router, I bought this "Amazon renewed" router. band 802. Verizon Fios router with Wi-Fi 802. 11n technology. First and foremost, the router performed admirably in its initial configuration. the- The box is in excellent condition, with only a minor scuff mark. In my case, all I had to do was connect the coax Fios signal and turn on the router. The router is only used for internet with our Verizon Fios connection; The TV signal is treated separately, which I believe is not the case in all cases. The router is on the third floor of a three-story house, in the front middle level. It provides an 802. 11n connection when used in conjunction with a Netgear extender. 11ac wireless signal that is very close to a fully wired signal throughout the house. Our Verizon internet speed is 75/75 Mbps, with wireless speeds of around 80/80. I only ran a speed test in the back upper-left corner for the purposes of this review. the house's level (at 4: 00 a. m. ) and received wireless 802. 11 b/g/n speeds of 83/86 Mbps. 11ac. I'm hoping the wireless performance will be comparable to the Verizon gigabit service when we get it (in about a month). br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>With Verizon Gigabit, you can use the fastest (5 gigahertz) of the two wi-fi networks. At the router, I'm getting 409 Mbps upload and 313 Mbps download, and in the back of the house, I'm getting 186/184. I get 940/950 Mbps download/upload when I connect via ethernet cable. Yes, that is true gigabit service; these figures do not include the cost of wi-fi. I don't need to spend an extra couple of hundred dollars on the latest Verizon router because I have the wi-f extender I mentioned in the original post.
