It used to be my momma who said, "there are so many people in the world " It said to me all the time, "You need to stop lifting weights in your room, stop watching TV in the basement, and stop playing video games on an Intellivision " I have always heard the voice in the back of your head saying that It was a good idea to listen to my mother I can now see the whole great big world on my phone and tablet, and now my family and I can too! In spite of having my own family and living on my own for 22 years, I always come back to what my mother taught me I finally went online and ordered the TP-Link AC1750 Smart WiFi Router, as a companion piece to a modem surfboard, using the wifi at a local buffet style dining establishment (borrowing my mom's smartphone) While I do not know a lot about electronics, I was able to set up this piece of manufacturing myself, which even allowed me to bond better with my son as we worked together on it together Since we set this up, the whole dynamic of our family has changed for the better, the kids are no longer fighting, my wife is no longer screaming stuff at me, we watch the shows and movies we never get to see from tv

I was unable to use three other wireless routers I purchased prior to this purchase! Instead of buying the cheapest (this), I bought the cheapest one I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was the one I was able to use The router admin page is easy to use, as well as the TP-Link Wi-Fi phone connection (named "Tether") You can print out the admin page to create a QR code that your guests can scan to connect to the internet You can hang the printed code on your wall so they can simply scan the QR code whenever they come to your house

The surge seemed to have blasted through my CAT5 cable and destroyed both my routers I bought this router as a replacement after both of my routers were destroyed by a thunderstorm For me, my $250 mega monster Linksys router (main router) was still under warranty at Best Buy (it was also very easy to retrieve) In any case, my access point router was getting a bit old and would surely need to die anyway Upon looking, I didn't really want to break the bank and buy some really expensive router, I just wanted a device that could push 100Mbps (my maximum ISP speed) and was relatively long range, so I bought this router Basically, I was out the door by 6pm on Amazon for $62, and I received it the next day I had this thing set up in minutes as an access point Easy to do, just check the box that says access point on set up, rename the SSID to the same as your main router with the same password and boom, you're all set For the first time in my life, I have utilized a TP Link router, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the setup Logging in to a router is very easy since the page is very user friendly This is a great choice if you are in the market for a router, unless you want to do a lot of serious configurations and whatnot Currently, I am writing this review on October 21, 2018, and I will definitely keep you updated, should anything change or if I get any dropped signals, or should anything else happen I will update this review I believe that you should know what you are buying before you buy

Mediacom supplied me with a 200 Mbps connection that was easy to configure The receiver was able to connect to three smart TVs, two home theater receivers, and three computers without any problem In my case, I get 240-255 Mbps if I directly plug one PC into a LAN port There is a second PC I am using at the opposite end of my 1740 sq/ft house from the router, and I am using a TP-Link Archer T4UH Ethernet adapter that allows me to download at 170-180 Mbps A Belkin F9L1109v1 adapter allows me to download at 142-145 Mbps by my third PC, which is 25 feet away: Additionally, I tested a Netgear AC1200 adapter model A6210 on the PC and it got about 120 Mbps It is important to note that the wireless adapter you use plays an important role Most top 10 routers for 2018 list this router and this router costs considerably less than the other top 10 routers on that list As of now, I am pleased with the results This will be my second TP-Link router, hoping to last longer than the last one

As I was at work when the router arrived, my teenage son figured out how to transfer all the cables and set up the password, and then everything was ready to go without any advanced configuration We were able to connect our network printer to the router, and I reconfigured it on three PCs running Windows 10 without any problems This printer has never been so simple to set up The setup was much easier than it used to be with my old Netgear router

It's not like I didn't get it a long time ago if I had known it would work this good Completely covers the apartment including all of the parking areas According to the specifications, you can support up to 50 devices, so I am not certain, but I know it is at least capable of supporting 12 devices No dropouts or dead spots were observed Providing delivery as quickly as possible

My condo is equipped with several smart devices and various apps and I am worried this may open my network up to hackers With this TP-Link AC1750 router and a TP-Link Modem, I replaced my old router with a modem built in Following some of the reviews, I was seriously concerned that the installation would fail My devices returned back to wifi as soon as my devices were installe d, and both of them were easy to install In order to protect my network, I put all of the smart home devices on a guest band My expectations were exceeded in terms of how everything has worked out

Since this is my second Tp-link router, I love how reliable it is and how helpful the technicians are when I need help There is a tether app included that is very easy to use with this model
