Questions & Answers

Clearly this is a dangerous item! It can be used as a weapon, correct?

You must be familiar with Star Wars, right? I'm not talking about that Star Wars movie. Do you mean the initiative originally proposed under the Reagan Administration which was dropped in the wake of a Democratic majority Legislature and a house budget committee? The original device - a wireless router - was approved, but no one made you aware that it actually had been approved, and 35 years and countless millions later it remains the device that has sought approval for sale to the consumer market as The actual power of the rocket lies in its ability to deliver ten twenty megaton warheads each delivering 200 megaton intercontinental ballistic missiles. The answer is yes, it is

Are the forces of this thing strong enough to generate a force field or is it just possible to travel through time?

It is possible to increase the power output of the CPU via a firmware patch. A force field effect can be created by focusing this energy through the Quantum Enhancer. A side effect of the update is that it increases the Non-Energy Effect as well. There is no geometry to this ship other than Euclidean. Being able to fit not only yourself, but the entire family inside to go on a nice vacation to the big city There was a time in history. You should keep track of your key so that you do not lose it. Consider making a spare so you can tuck it in a Hide-A-Lot Located in a key location. I had to wait seven days to complete the task. The time it took me to get back here and inform you of this is 5 million years. It took 90 days after purchase for the warranty to expire, so I asked for a refund. The number is only seven. Almost four hundred and seventy five million years too I guess I should have known better.

My package didn't move once I unpacked it. One or more of the eight legs are not functioning. It didn't seem to be scared of me despite my best efforts. Can you tell me what I'm doing incorrectly?

Do you know if it works with a tazer. This happens to me if I am dead asleep, and it makes me wake up. There's a lot to understand.

Does this router support as many SSIDs as it can broadcast?

In addition to the 3 primary channels, there is a secondary channel The 4GHz band has two antennas and the 5GHz band has two antennas. As soon as you turn one on, it has an SSID. *If you enable the Smart Connect feature, this is consolidated to the SSID of a single device across all three channels, and your router decides which device to place on each channel. So far, it seems to work quite well! In addition, each of the main channels have three guest channels, making for a total of 9 guest Neither I nor my colleagues have tested whether Smart Connect works for Guest channels as well. To answer your question, please don't bother your neighbors if you're trying to annoy them. A total of 12 SSIDs can be broadcast from this device.

It can be hard to connect some devices like the Roku to the Internet
3/5

An ISP at which I work has tasked me with the job of network analyst. The last 20 years of my career have been in the field of mathematics. As a network professional I troubleshoot networks across the globe, including some that span the Atlantic Ocean. The router I work on is much more advanced than what this device can do. I've worked on wireless networks, Internet connections, business networks, and routers far more advanced than this device. The point I am making is not to get all gushy about myself, but to state that what I am sharing comes from a professional with extensive experience. Choosing this device was partly due to the advanced features, believing that they would assist me in solving some overutilization issues that I had with a previous wireless router. I was sadly running that router's CPU into the ground, so I decided that a more powerful router was in order. It appears that my router has a problem. Devices on the LAN cannot communicate with each other, however this is a sporadic issue, no other wireless router has the same issue. Devices like the Roku are unable to be connected to the IP remote or controlled by a smart device with an app at times. It is rare to see and use the wireless printer. It also gives an error saying the devices are not connected to the same network when using the Harmony remote base. happens primarily when using wireless, but there are also instances when it happens over a wired connection. There is no reason for they getting 1 star on any of these grounds. This is a defective item. I get it. It is a common occurrence with any electronic equipment or manufactured device that has poor customer support. I am writing this review as a result of their bad support. There is at least one other person who has the same problem on a very obscure forum that I've found, but they never found a solution. As part of my attempt to resolve this, I already performed a firmware update, a factory reset, and went through every setting available. In addition to the steps I have completed so far, I also went through the same steps with their email support team. I. Bowel Cancer. It took a Rep a short time to tell me that it needed to be sent in for repair before telling me that it was being sent in. It was OK for me as the equipment was defective. 2.

To get an RMA done, they do not work with their customers. The company will not provide a shipping label for their defective product. It will not provide them with a shipping label for their defective product. The technician who receives the product for repair doesn't pay attention to what the problem is, and says the problem cannot be duplicated. When I send them back the item, the only response I get is, "Test Ok, couldn't duplicate the error. " 5. Despite the fact that they say they will, they do not return calls. This is six. As of now, I have not spoken to anyone about this issue, and overall this has been going on for several 7 *br*br*br. When the technician received the device, he or she would have connected more than one device. They would have tested the WAN, but found there nothing wrong. I sent him detailed information about what was wrong. It would have been possible to duplicate the problem if they had connected several devices over the local area network and tested communication between them. ASUS is no longer an option for me. In the past three purchases I have made with them, three of them have been defective. This may just be bad luck, but after putting up with their lack of support, I have given up. This was my fault, and I offered them every opportunity to fix it. My only recommendation is that people not use a generic router and do not use the brand name routers. The only two wireless routers I recommend to others are Linksys I have literally said that to all my customers for the last 10 years. As far as routers are concerned, Asus is relatively new. My expectations were high since I've been an Asus customer since the early days when I used to visit computer shows to build a PC before it was possible to order over the internet. It has been my recommendation as a best motherboard in the past. My experience with them has not changed either. They are overpriced, undersupported, and not able to live up to their promises anymore. Buying a Netgear is half the price, and same as buying a CPE.

This router from Asus should not be purchased
3/5

It stopped working after four months. It was a very expensive router. One reason for just one star is Asus' crappy customer service. It is very difficult to get an RMA so that it can be repaired. The problem is that they make it impossible to register the product. When you attempt to enter the serial number, a message tells you that the number is invalid. My phone allowed me to take a picture of my s/n, magnify it, and enter it every way possible, and it kept telling me that it is incorrect. The same message pops up that the serial number is wrong, so a return cannot be made. As a result of the wasted time, I am seriously considering filing a small claims lawsuit. It's rare that I write reviews, but this product warrants it in order to prevent others from having the same issues.

Internet access with the best speed Investing in a WiFi router has so far proven to be a wise decision
5/5

It is the RT-II I have been using Since March 2016, our AC5300 baby has been around (almost 5 years today). Thus far, it hasn't had any issues, and it is still as fast as it was when it first arrived. Floors up to 1600 square feet can easily be covered My 5 GHz signal is very strong around 50 feet outside of the house, and the 2 GHz signal is good, too. A few more years before 4G will be available. A RT-95 later came into my possession We utilized two AC68U units and connected them in mesh mode so that there would be no need to pull wires through the house, using a second 5GHz channel as a This 68U is a "bridge" and switch for my server hardware in a remote corner of the house, near my "work office. " I use it as a "bridge" and switch for my server hardware. I find this to be one of the best purchases I have **I have switched friends away from Netgear over to this, too. (Netgear USED to be very good, but they've been crappy recently with brand new routers, access points, and switches breaking after one month. Multiple friends took them back to the store, refunded them, and swapped them with an ASUS model Then no more problems would arise). There are other high-achieving members of society as well Performance of the wireless network Now that ASUS has caught up with its rivals in router technology. My curiosity is soaring as I look forward to the future I'm going to stay on this for now. This is TP As their Wi-Fi network starts to close the gap, Link is making progress Then again, they have quad-band routers (see their page on The core of the Archer AX11000 has WiFi Wi-Fi router model), but until they fix ALL their issues, I cannot recommend them. It appears that there are other vendors offering more features (see Ubiquity, etc), but I am not interested at this time. At the moment, I am most concerned with latency and ultimate stability. My experience is that ASUS has consistently provided quality hardware (at least the ones I used over Computer components such as routers, motherboards, and graphics cards). TIPS FOR WINNING The following *br Make sure that WiFi channels are never left on "auto". There are a lot of "auto" channels that vendors use There's a good chance your neighbor's wireless router broadcasts over the same "auto" channel as you do. Collisions are the result of this. Consequently, the strength of the signal from your WiFi router will be reduced to reduce Suddenly, you are lost in a weak signal, get disconnected and do not Try getting a free WiFi scanner app for your smartphone, and scan the area to see which channels are available. Then you can manually set your WiFi to those channels. Don't miss out on this opportunity to re-energize You should scan about once every few months. The following *br You should never lower the name of your SSID to its factory default value. If your neighbors also use the same name for their WLAN, then they will keep trying to connect to your WiFi every few seconds (since the wifi client devices are always looking for Connect. . . and disconnect. Then repeat it a few seconds later). Your WiFi router's performance will suffer and its cache will also be affected. In situations in which you are not located in your neighbor's backyard, you are unlikely to notice. In either case, it will be noticeable if there are houses nearby or if you live in an apartment. The following *br Separate the WiFi network for the appliances on the 2 from the guest WiFi network. Make sure that each band has its own password, and separate and unique password for each. The following reasons Work on the 2. shore) only A VERY POOR SECURITY is used on 4Ghz networks. Using WEAK passwords as a result of using these smart appliances can easily lead to you losing access to your data There is a reason for this (because they were off-the-jump As a result, they will compromise on security at your expense. Your Wi-Fi network shouldn't be compromised by a camera that only allows access to a poor security system There is a Wi-Fi On this guest 2 you should keep the baby cameras, smart plugs, and smart lights. You'll be able to access everything on your actual private network over a 4Ghz The side-effect is that you'll need to move your phone from guest 1 to If you set up your "smart appliances" for the first time, you will have to use the 4GHz network, but after that you can switch back to the regular 2GHz network. Use of the 5G network or 4G network There's much less risk if you do it The following *br You can use your 5Ghz bandwidth for your 5Ghz band and for your non-5Ghz bandwidth - an appliance If a band is designated, use a complex password (such as "I'm The Queen@My House! This is much, much harder to do than breaking these. The following *br You can disable WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) by following these instructions Many residential WiFi routers come with this "convenient" feature a password by pressing a button every time you want to connect something. This was created for people who want it "easy," but it's nowhere near as "secure" as they claim. works is as follows You can communicate that "join" code to everyone in your WiFi network by pressing the WPS button. The first person who responds gets added to the group, whether they hear it or respond to it. There is a possibility that you are involved. Someone else might do it Therefore, you are very fortunate! You can disable it by going to your router's web page, going to the Wireless folder on the left side menu, then going to the Wi-Fi tab on the right side, and turning The following *br There is a USB3 port on the WiFi router. It does not have a port. Make sure your USB3 is disabled and that it is only A speed of 0 is 0 mph. What? (You're going to ask that. It is because USB3 is not compatible with USB2. A 5GHz frequency is used by zero The interference causes your 5GHz WiFi to be disrupted. ASUS is not the only manufacturer suffering from this issue. It has not yet been fixed by any of them. To change the mode, click "USB setting" on the router's web page, then on the right side, click the "System" tab. To change the bus, click "USB mode" again, then press "apply" to make the changes.
