I'm using it with a Hikvision Alibi system (8-channel DVR) and IP cameras. This item provides Power Over Ethernet to the CAMERA, not the DVR, and it works perfectly.br>Please note that this item only provides Power Over Ethernet to the CAMERA. br>A better question would be, "Will this work with my camera?" br>However, I believe the answer is YES, it will work in both cases.
This injector is being used to power a Reolink RLC-100. 423 over a 10m / 30' shielded cat6 cable, and it works perfectly. br>What is the length of your cable run and are you using cat5e, cat6 (or higher)?
This POE Power is used to power POE cameras that operate at 48 volts. (Usually used with Dome cameras)IEEE 802. 802.11af and 3af are two of the most common wireless protocols. Complimentary to 3at

I bought this for my Rak V2 hotspot miner, and I wanted to go POE to simplify things and make outdoor wiring easier. It works by simply plugging it into my FIOS router. So far, there have been no issues. br>br>The only thing I wish the injector had is tabs to mount it to a wall. Even with 3m double sided tape, the slight heat generated by the injector, combined with hot summer days, can cause it to fall off. This could be avoided by using mounting tabs.
I've discovered that many of these low-cost devices are incapable of supporting gigabit speeds over a 100-meter cat6 cable. One of these gadgets is this one. br>br>This will work if you only need a shorter cable or don't mind using 100mbps mode. Check out BV- if you can't find what you're looking for elsewhere Tech-wise, I've got a gigabit BV- POE switch with technology and standalone gigabit BV- Both support gigabit over the same length cable that this one fails over, thanks to a tech poe injector.
5 Gigabit Ethernet is also available. This is my second purchase of this item. br>I'm surprised that this POE supports two. 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports br>br>I am the owner of a negear 2. The POE injector is compatible with the 5gbe AP. I'm guessing it's an 802. 11 port. It makes no difference to 3af/at whether you use 1 Gbe or 2. 5 Gbe, but it's important to note that 2. 5 is also compatible with this POE injector!.
A HikVision security camera with POE is powered by the unit. Only time will tell if this POE injector is reliable. 25 DECEMBER 2021 UPDATE: br>br>POE has survived a punishing California summer in a punishing environment (detached garage, mounted above the garage door opener). It's been more than a year, and I'm confident that this unit will continue to serve me well for many years to come. This injector is still one of my top picks. ten out of ten stars.
First, I'll get my Network Administrator certification. Second, our area has been hit by two major hurricanes, and I finally had the chance to put the unit in place. The unit was D, which was the third one. I proved this by purchasing an expensive POE Injector from a local source, which works perfectly on the same load device. br>I am willing to remove this rating if the seller picks up the unit and replaces it with a working one, and issues a 1-star rating. a one-year warranty.
In February of this year, I purchased seven of them to power my Reolink cameras and ubiquity wireless access points. br>So far, two have failed, one in August and the other in September, both of which were used to power Reolink cameras.
This is being used to power a wifi access point that is located in the ceiling and does not have access to a power outlet. It's been over two years since I installed it, and it's still going strong.
Less than eight months after purchase, it just stopped working. My POE camera's power supply has been turned off. The LED indicator light isn't turning on anymore. I was unable to contact the seller, and the return deadline had passed; therefore, I would advise purchasing elsewhere.
