Questions & Answers

This adapter didn't come with a driver disk when I bought it. Is there anywhere I can get a driver for this product?

The necessary drivers can now be stored on USBs. When you plug them into your computer, they will automatically install.

Is the XPS 18 compatible with PXE boot (network boot)?

Yes, the Dell XPS18 is compatible with this. This item was purchased to be used with a Surface tablet, but I already have an XPS 18. I just finished testing it on the XPS 18 to make sure it worked properly, and it did.

Do you want to work for Mac?

Yes, it is possible. It's a network interface card that also happens to support USB 2. 0 or 3. The two types of formats 0 and 3. 0 denotes a device that is not connected to anything else.

Is it possible to combine two of these to create a long-distance USB data connection? If not, can anyone recommend a good wall kit for a 25-foot wall? Is it possible to run 35 feet against the wall?

We use the IOGEAR GUCE51 to extend USB in our classrooms for Interactive Projectors. They've been a long-time favorite of mine, and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent customer service; however, it does not work with the Nintendo Switch, which is why I purchased it
5/5

I'm not giving the product a five-star rating; instead, I'm giving the company/seller a five-star rating. The product did not work with the Nintendo Switch, which is why I purchased it. This product, once again, DOES NOT WORK FOR THE NINTENDO SWITCH, but it DOES WORK FOR EVERYTHING ELSE I TRYED. Overall, it's a good product, but it didn't work for the purpose for which I purchased it. The seller, on the other hand, was fantastic and promptly refunded my money. Again, the product worked flawlessly for everything I tried it for except what I purchased it for, and the customer service was outstanding!.

*UPDATE* There's a problem with the connection! *UPDATE* They have excellent customer service! They contacted me immediately after reading my review and sent me a replacement that works flawlessly! No more problems! Thank you again, and I will enthusiastically recommend this company and product!! br>The product is extremely simple to use because it simply plugs in, but it does not provide me with a stable internet connection
5/5

I work from home, so being hardwired to the internet is essential, and I've lost a lot of work time because the internet cuts out intermittently, even though it's hardwired, leaving me in a sort of limbo until the connection is restored. It wasn't so bad at first; I thought it was just a glitch, so I restarted my modem and double-checked all of my connections, but it didn't help, and the problem has now worsened. I borrowed an ethernet adapter from a neighbor to make sure that wasn't the problem, and it worked perfectly in my laptop.

This is a fantastic little USB to Ethernet adapter, especially for Windows devices that don't have built-in ethernet
5/5

I've made about 60 deployments so far. I've used about 70 of these so far, mostly with Lenovo Thinkpad Yogas and Microsoft Surface Pro units, and they've all worked flawlessly. and-play, with driver detection and installation taking only seconds (no waiting for Windows updates, no sifting through sparsely-populated driver databases). When Windows Update fails to find any suitable drivers, documented websites are used to look for obscure drivers. It appears that the speeds are insufficient. Even when downloading over a gig of Microsoft updates, the line with any 10/100 adapter remains stable. I like the green connection LED, and the build quality is good for a $10 device. All- all, if you require a wired ethernet adapter for any of the ever-increasing number of devices, With the ever-increasing number of tablets, ultraportables, and convertible tablets on the market, the Cable Matters USB 2. Without breaking the bank, a 0 10/100 ethernet adapter will suffice.

It's simple and effective
5/5

When my server laptop died, I wanted the laptop I was going to use now to be able to connect to the router via a cable. Only. Only wireless connections were available on this laptop. As a result, I went out and bought this low-cost item. I expected to spend hours trying to install it, that it wouldn't connect, and that sort of thing. When I plugged it into the USB slot, it installed without a hitch. After that, I plugged in the cable. That was the only thing I needed to do. It really works.

This USB 2 is ideal
5/5

Fast Ethernet connection from 0 to 10/100. This USB 2 is ideal. Fast Ethernet connection from 0 to 10/100. What more can I say? It just works. I originally purchased this for a computer, but decided to use it on my Mac Mini instead. The interface on the PC couldn't handle the higher speed, but the Mac could, so it was a win. This also works with my wife's Chromebook, which doesn't have an ethernet port, which is probably why these things are made. Just get it, it works. Simply double-check your computer's specifications to ensure that it has a 10/100 interface. You won't notice a difference in speed if you do anything less. If you only need the interface to connect to the internet, that's also fine.

These are absolutely incredible
5/5

These are absolutely incredible. They have a mini CDROM mount that pops up from a chip on the device, and you can use it to install the drivers. On every machine I've tried it on, it works 100% of the time. This is something that no one else does. I have a mountain of these tiny USB adaptors that are missing their drivers. I know this will always work even if a machine does not have a network connection.

Excellent, low-cost option
5/5

It really works. This is a good workaround for a wired connection on the Fire Stick (2nd edition only, according to my sources). On the most recent edition of the Fire Stick, we used it. This, combined with a Micro USB host connector, allows for the addition of Ethernet as well as any other USB connection (e. g. , a flash drive). to a fire stick (keyboard).

It does exactly what it should - it works flawlessly
5/5

Ideal for laptop computers with a slim profile. My father uses a laptop computer that is extremely thin. I assisted him in setting up his new router, and I wanted him to have the option of connecting via direct Ethernet rather than WiFi. br>br>An Ethernet cable cannot be plugged into the laptop due to its thinness. br>br>This worked like a charm to fix that.
