Questions & Answers

Is there an AU power plug included with this monitor?

Only a US power plug is included.

What are your thoughts on the picture and color quality as it comes out of the box? Is there a lot of tinkering required to get things to look right?

The colors are very good out of the box in my opinion, it doesn't need tweaking if you are looking for 100% color accuracy but it is more than capable. Since I'm not doing anything that requires perfect colors, I didn't touch mine when I got it. I did a lot of research on this monitor before I bought it, and some people have complained about the backlight being uneven, which can affect the colors. Although I don't appear to have this issue, be aware that some units may.

Is the eyecare feature capable of automatically adjusting the brightness? Is it possible for me to have complete control over it? I'm interested in the 27-inch model; is it bright and well-worth the money?

It's a controllable setting in the monitor menu that you can access via the buttons on the back of the screen. It will not turn on on its own. If you want it to turn on automatically and you're using Windows 10, you can use the night light settings in Windows to do so, and set them to turn on at a specific time.

Is there a problem with shipping to Saudi Arabia, and how long does it take to get there?

It will cost almost 108$ if you purchase it from a local store.

Selected User Reviews For ASUS VA27EHE 27” Eye Care Monitor Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS 75Hz Adaptive-Sync HDMI D-Sub Frameless

It is neither IPS nor 75hz
3/5

This monitor came in the '27" Frameless IPS' version, which I ordered. The description and images are extremely deceiving. This monitor isn't an IPS (in-plane switching) display. It is VA. It's not even "frameless" because the bezel is very sleek and thin, but the viewable portion of the screen is smaller, and once the screen is turned on, you can see a thick black border around the entire screen. If you're buying it for work, you'll probably be happy with it, but it's not what it claims to be.

On the Back, Are There Control Buttons? I bought two VA27EHE monitors to put on my desk next to each other
4/5

The narrow bezel and lack of glare are very appealing. There are no dead pixels to be found, and I'm very pleased with these. The only thing I don't like about it is that the monitor's control buttons (power, menu, etc. ) are located on the monitor's right lower REAR side. When two monitors are placed side by side, it's difficult to reach (or even see) the buttons on the left monitor (unless they're on a desk and you can walk behind them). WHY WOULD THEY PUT THE BUTTONS ON THE BACK OF A MONITOR DESIGNED TO SIT NEXT TO EACH OTHER, LIKE THIS? It would be a much better design if the buttons were on the bottom (as they are on most LCD monitors I've used over the years). As a result, I deducted one star. Before I bought these, I didn't even think to look to see where the buttons were, so this review may be useful for someone who, like me, would have overlooked this.

The monitor is quite good
4/5

At home, I had a 24-inch monitor, but at work, I had a 27-inch monitor. My 24-inch TV was also a big hit with my son. I finally decided on this one after a month of research. It has nearly identical specifications to my Asus 24, except it is larger. So far, nothing has let me down. It's been useful for gaming, design, and everyday office tasks. br>br>It was fairly simple to set it up right out of the box. Because the buttons aren't very intuitive, I had to fiddle around a bit before I got it right. br>br>The yellow cast that has been reported is a result of the eyecare environment: The eyes are strained by blue light, so a yellowish/reddish filter reduces it. The color cast is removed if you locate it in the monitor's screen menu and turn it off. br>br>The screen presets aren't bad (gaming is fine for gaming, but it's way too saturated for almost everything else). In a bright room, it can be difficult to see dark visuals, especially if the light source is behind the monitor. That's mostly my setup's fault, but I don't have a better solution at the moment and figured someone else might be having the same problem. br>br>It's big enough that I wish I'd paid the extra money for a curved screen, but it'll do. There's a smidgeon of a drop-off here and there. There are a few minor blemishes around the edges of the screen, but nothing that is distracting. There aren't any dead pixels or other issues. It fulfills my requirements perfectly.

This is something I should have purchased in twos
5/5

It's worth a lot more than the price tag. A few months ago, I paid $200 for a 27" KA272 bi Acer monitor from another seller. Because the website stated that it was a new arrival, I assumed it would be improved and updated. br>I needed a new monitor, so I went on the lookout for one that was clearer, sharper, and less expensive. br>I spent a total of four days looking for various monitors, including curved, gaming, 2K, 4K, and so on. br>I only used them for work and coding. That didn't necessitate the use of a high-end monitor. br>I wanted to go with a Super Wife 34" curved monitor to eliminate two monitors and replace them with just one. However, I was short on cash and needed to purchase a curved monitor. br>I wanted a frameless 27" IPS monitor with a decent refresh rate of 60Hz or higher, a 1920x1080 or higher resolution, and at least a two-year warranty because cheap monitors are notorious for dead pixels. Furthermore, it should be able to match the dimensions of the Acer monitor I already have so that they don't look out of proportion when they're sitting side by side. If the screens aren't level, it bothers me. br>I saw this one on Amazon and it was in the price range of the cheapest 27" monitors currently available. Because my dock only has one hdmi port and I needed to connect two monitors to my work laptop, I wanted something that could give me the option of a display port as well as an hdmi port. br>When I looked up this model on the Asus website, I discovered that a newer model, the VZ279HE, was available for the same price and included a display port as well as an HDMI port. However, it was not to be found. It came out in April of 2017, and VA27EHE came out in December of 2019. So it wasn't worth it to buy an older version just for a port; another competitor was the ViewSonic VX2756, which had a DisplayPort and a great 3-Lyra warranty but was 1" shorter overall. br>After searching all of the websites for it, I finally purchased VA27EHE. br>As expected, it arrived the next day. br>Everything was as expected; the dimensions of the screen matched those of the stand; the screen was brightly lit (250cd/square mm), with no dead pixels; and it was anti-glare. glare, and a lovely matte finish br>The first thing I noticed was that it had a slimmer bezel than the Acer, was thinner, and had a stronger stand. The screen is stunning from edge to edge, with no dead pixels or other flaws. br>The specification doesn't mention speakers, and I can't find anything about them anywhere, but my audio driver says the monitor has them. I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be. br>It also tilts, and it's VESA-compliant. br>I went back to the website where I bought my Acer for $199 to see if I could return it and get one of these instead. I couldn't because I was past the return window, but that was a great feature for $150. br>br>It's fantastic, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a 27-inch monitor in this price range.
