As noted in the 'contents in box' section of the Specifications, mine included a power cord and a VGA cable.
Yes. I placed an order for the adapter mentioned in the previous response. It's a squeeze, but the dual monitors are well worth it. 39 was the height of the pedestal. 00- shocker! Honest, this is a game changer. If you work remotely or at home, this is the best option.
Mine runs at 75Mhz at 1080p; I have a GTX 1080 and use Nvidia settings to create a custom profile and set it to 75Mhz; it will not run at 75Mhz in your standard monitor settings.
I recently bought three of these monitors for my office, one of which was for myself so that I could have dual monitors. I don't see any bleeding light around the edges, and the image quality is excellent. The other people for whom I bought the monitors have not expressed any dissatisfaction with them, and in fact, they think they're quite nice. I specifically asked if they noticed anything odd about the monitor's bezel, and they said no.

A few reviews mention ghosting, which I experienced until I realized the monitors' default settings had "overdrive" or "OD" turned on. You won't have to worry about ghosting as long as you disable this feature! I hope this helps anyone who purchased these and was disappointed; I couldn't find anything on the internet about how to fix this problem other than figuring it out on my own.
I rarely write reviews, but I was so dissatisfied with this monitor that I felt compelled to warn others about it. This was originally purchased last year for use at school and at work. After a few weeks, it began to turn off and blink incessantly in the middle of the night. Dead pixels in the middle of the screen are also a problem. I contacted Amazon, and they promptly sent me a replacement, which I promptly returned. After a few weeks of flawless operation, we're back to square one. The power and menu buttons also stopped working on the replacement unit. The unit could only be turned on or off by physically unplugging it. When I contacted Amazon once more, they directed me to the manufacturer. I was finally able to contact someone after several attempts. They said they'd look into it, but I'd have to pay for shipping back and they wouldn't replace it. I declined (mainly because I didn't have a box to pack it in and was dissatisfied with the customer service). br>br>As a result, I continued to use it with few problems for several months before abandoning it earlier this year, primarily because I was tired of the physical unplugging, and replacing it with an old TV. I went to re-ignite it for my wife's use just now. The screen is cracked in the middle after not being touched or used for a few months, and it's unusable in my opinion. And no, this isn't a case of "oops, I dropped it, so I'm blaming the hardware. " " I've had good luck with Acer electronics in the past, but this monitor has been nothing but trouble. If it were possible, I'd give it a one-star rating.
My screen blacks out every now and then, but only for a fraction of a second (like a screenshot on your phone), and it irritates me greatly. I changed all of the cables and adapters, and I wrote back in September/October for a replacement, but Amazon referred me to the manufacturer. So I bought this monitor to have an upgrade but it wasn't a good choice. br>And here I am with an annoying black flashing screen that I sent to the Acer support center, and they sent me back the monitor with the diagnostic was no observed issues. br>So I bought this monitor to have an upgrade but it wasn't a good choice. br>And here I am with an annoying black flashing screen that I sent to the Acer support center, and they sent me back the monitor with the.
In any case, here's why I've decided to upgrade: 1) For college work, I'm using it as an external monitor for my MacBook Pro. 2) It works flawlessly with my Xbox One S. Battlefield 1 and Titan Fall 2 (in my opinion) look fantastic in this. br>br>BEFORE YOU BUY, YOU MUST KNOW: br>1) There is no way to adjust the monitor's angle. br>2) The monitor does not rise in height and the other way around. br>3) the monitor does not rotatebr>This isn't an issue for me because my monitor is mounted on a monitor riser. If you're picky about this sort of thing, however, I'd suggest looking elsewhere and comparing! OVERALL THOUGHTS: br>br> 1) It's a breeze to set up! It takes only 5 minutes to complete. All you have to do now is connect the circle base to the back of the monitor screen and you're ready to go! br>For the price, it's an excellent monitor!!.
For a 1080 monitor, this is a fantastic deal. br>Clear picturebr>Easy assembly (or disassembly)br>Sturdy basebr>Works beautifully with MacBook Airbr>br>br>br>br>br>REVISED AND WARNING FOR MACBOOK PRO 2017 USERS: The monitor, which worked perfectly with a MacBook Air, will not work with a MacBook Pro 2017. A firmware update from Acer is required to fix it. You must return the monitor to them. Be careful who you buy from.
I purchased two of these monitors a few weeks ago, and they've performed admirably thus far (with the exception of one issue, which is detailed below). br>br>The thin bezel, which is accurately depicted in the photos above, is the best part in my opinion. In case anyone was curious, the bezel (which includes the part of the screen that doesn't show any image) measures about 1/4" (7/32" to be exact). When I bought the monitors, I was concerned that the base would not be stable, but they are surprisingly stable. br>br>The main reason I'm writing this review is to alert people to the fact that both of the monitors I received have backlight bleeding. The backlight bleeding pattern is identical on both monitors, so I'm not sure I was just unlucky. The image quality is excellent under normal conditions. When there is a dark image on the screen and I am in a dark room (for example, when watching a movie), the backlight bleeding is very noticeable on the two upper corners of the screens. This isn't a big deal for me because I always have a light on, but I'm sure it bothers some people. This appears to be a fairly common problem with budget IPS monitors, so I wouldn't rule out this monitor unless you can find one that doesn't have this problem.
