The Dell XPS 13 and the Dell 15 7000 will not work with this. The slots in these are Nobel wedge lock slots. It is advisable to search Amazon for a Nobel wedge lock to ensure that it is compatible with your computer.

I connected the cable to my printer/fax machine in the back right corner, locked the lock (a pretty simple thing to do). It took a few more minutes for the intruder to steal the printer, but he did get away with it. In fact, there was a malfunction with the locking mechanism. My mind is blown by this.
There is a place near the lock where you can remove the key but it doesn't lock. A lock would be totally useless if it were to be unlocked, as it defeats the purpose of it This is the case for all 4 I bought.
Most laptops cannot be used with this case.
It is described as a 10' cable, but what is included is a 6' cable. The long cable will be returned to me as I need it.
give 5 stars rarely so do not. Although I was concerned about the quality because of the low price (it is an extremely low price), I am pleasantly surprised by it. I consider this lock a good buy for the money. a lock five stars so don't let that discourage you from considering it).
It is a strong and reliable security cable for laptops. My bike wouldn't need to be locked up outside, but this is used to prevent customers from leaving with our customer service laptop, and it does its job very well.
It is a simple design and works if the lock is properly aligned. Despite this, it is very easy to adjust the lock so that the key is only used to unlock, defeating the purpose entirely. It was misaligned when it arrived, or it became that way with certain uses. I thought there was some kind of trick to the lock. Manually lining up the pieces was required in order for the key/lock to function properly.
