There are two sides to the filter This lipstick has both a glossy and matte finish. An image in the background of a dark color stands out especially well. There is room for improvement in future versions. It is worth it though, since reducing the light emitted by the monitor is a big plus!

IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO WORK FOR CURVED SCREEN, AS PER THE SPECIFICATIONS. A STRAIGHT VIEW OF THE SCREEN (180o) WILL ENSURE that you can view the screen correctly.
You are referring to something that I am not familiar with. Although the privacy film is completely black, it does not have a yellow coating and works wonderfully.

Unlike a screen protector, this filter has two sides, one glossy and one matte (which don't stick to the screen). Using the matte side, I turned the screen toward me and it appears completely black from a distance. Having said that, it has greatly boosted my level of privacy and allows me to work quietly knowing no one is watching me. You can remove the filter from the screen to clean it and you can use the see-through stickers to keep the filter in place.
