Questions & Answers
Yes, there is a strong adhesive layer on the webcam cover. As a result, it's securely fastened.
It fits perfectly on my 13-inch MacBook Air; if the top camera part looks anything like mine, it should work as well.
For years, I've relied on post-it notes, but they eventually lose their stickiness and fall off. I didn't have a cover at that point. As a result, these are far superior- They're here to stay.
The webcam's cover is extremely thin, measuring less than 0. It can be completely closed if it is 2 inches wide.

The product performed as expected, but there is no mention of it breaking your screen anywhere in the entire page's description. Please be aware that this $3 will be charged to your credit card. SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS can be spent on a single 99 product. I was extremely disappointed because, as you can see in the photo, my screen cracked just at the cover's edge, and now there is a vertical line running through it. Use a piece of sticker to prove that this isn't worth your time.
I bought this product because I thought it would be ideal for giving my family privacy when they needed it. After 6 months, my daughter's new MacBook suddenly turns black for no apparent reason. When we take it to the Apple store, the Apple representative tells us that it's because of the camera cover. When closing the MacBook, this product will eventually cause the screen to crack! WTH? It's a good thing we had Apple Care, because the repair was only $99. We would have been out $700 if we didn't have Apple Care! I trashed them all!.
It isn't thin enough, and it could scratch your screen. It's fine for desktops and cellphones, but when you close your laptop lid, you'll notice that it's not flush with the body.
I wasn't expecting such a low-cost product, and the adhesive tape isn't up to snuff - Given the need to open and close the sliding cover, I'm not sure how long this will last. Furthermore, the sliding cover does not always close all the way without some effort, causing the unit to move from its original position over the camera lens. I'm using a Microsoft Surface, and the lens barely covers the aperture, so even the tiniest movement forces me to reposition the entire cover. Again! I'm not going to bother returning it; instead, I'll take the L and buy a magnetic one.
I really wanted to like this because I value my privacy, and unfortunately, there are far too many people who use their intelligence for evil rather than good. Of course, I'm referring to your computer and camera being hacked. br>However, the cover is extremely small and perfectly covers the camera lense on the majority of computers. It's difficult to put on for those of us with large fingers, but that's not why it's only one star. br>Here's why I gave it one star:
1. I put one on my iPad, but it keeps sliding out of place. Gravity appears to be a factor because I never close the iPad or touch the lens cover.
2. It either broke or fell off my other devices after a few uses.
3. The sliding cover has come loose from the frame (I'm not sure how else to describe it) and will not go back on. br>br>In my opinion, this item only received two stars. Whether it's a five-star rating or a one-star rating, This would be a different rating if it were more durable and the adhesive was better. br>Unfortunately, I've had to revert to using tape.
I purchased this a while ago to use with my laptop, and I've noticed a few things.
Pro: simple to adhere to; Even months later, there are no visible signs of peeling; design that is neat and tidy; It's thin enough to avoid interfering with the lid of the laptop.
Cons: In the dark, it's difficult to tell whether the piece is open or closed (not a big deal if you just want to see if it's elongated); It's a tad too simple to open. I noticed the cover of my laptop had slid open halfway without my knowledge the other day after I had used it for a while. When sliding open, I would have liked a little more resistance.
My ASUS laptop fits perfectly with this camera cover. It's the exact width of the screen bezel, and it's thin enough that it doesn't prevent the screen from fully closing. It's also small enough that the microphones and the "camera on" LED aren't obstructed. br>It was simple to set up. The only thing I had to watch out for was orienting the cover in the right direction so that it didn't block the items mentioned earlier. Unless you really look for it, the color blends in, making it almost unnoticeable. A straightforward solution that appears to be a natural fit.
The slide runs smoothly, and the glue adheres to the surface perfectly! I had previously ordered some more expensive ones, which sucked, covered some of the camera due to the opening being too small, broke, and fell off within a day, and were made of plastic. These are metal, with a nice wide opening for the camera, and they're fantastic. For less than $5, you can get three. That is a fantastic deal, in my opinion. I would strongly advise you to read this book.
