What is the location of this installation? There is a space beneath my cd-player that is empty Can you tell me where the drive is? Does it require much effort to install it?
Any of the 3 platforms will work with it. Each bay holds five people. An IDE drive is required therefore, you must have a system on which it can be installed.
What is the power type on the backside? Are there IDE and Molex?
Yes, and these jumpers are intended to pair up two master slaves.

Everything works on the drive

After 18 years, the drive decided to fail. I bought this one as a replacement. The front bezel of this drive was damaged when it arrived, but it worked fine nonetheless.
