The Zip 100 Parallel port cannot be turned into a USB drive. There are several Parallel to USB adapters in the market, however none of these will convert the Zip PII to a USB drive. This problem was solved by Iomega in the late 90s and early 2000 when it produced Zip 100, 250, and 750 USB drives. I thank you on behalf of Comet
The Zip Drive 100 can be used with Windows 7 if it is connected to a parallel computer via a USB cable. Then go to a store that doesn't deal with computers. Has anyone complained to IOMEGA, or does their company no longer exist?

In the condition in which it arrived, I was unable to use it. I had to scrounge up a power supply and a My item was delivered, but I was unable to use it. It wasn't clear whether the problem was with the device, the power supply, or the cable, but the whole exercise was frustrating. I will send it back and return the borrowed parts. I didn't have the best experience purchasing.
I have trouble finding one. In my experience, such an old device is hard to find. I was surprised to receive a brand new product and not a used product that had been dusted off. They are very reasonable.
I needed it to store a large collection of research zip discs, and was so relieved to find it at a great price!.
The work I did was.
The product is in good working order and was delivered in good order. Why my previous two drives failed is a mystery to me. There are very few times when I use this. Despite this, I had a good experience buying this from Amazon. The product is in good working order and was delivered in good order.
You can use this item with Windows 95 and earlier versions of the operating system My purchase of this device was to use it to transfer data from old disks. However, I soon discovered that this device doesn't support anything after Lenovo is now supporting these zip drives, and it's just a matter of clicking on the Lenovo links. These zip drives come with USB connections, but I haven't had good luck with them and they break quickly. That was why I purchased the older model with parallel port. When I had this one back in the day, it worked like a charm. I replaced it later with a USB drive Lastly, I just wanted to let you know that the 250MB zip drives will read 100MB disks, but they will not read 250MB drives.
