Since 95% of thumb drives purchased online are fakes, hacked drives that contain less space than they were advertised to contain, as a result, I am always wary of them. If you exceed a drive's true capacity, such as 32GB, it fails. A drive advertised as having a capacity of 32GB may actually be a hacked 1GB drive. That is why I always test and verify the capacity of my drives before I buy them with a free program. All of the 10 drives of this seller have been tested and are working perfectly. During the test, all drives were found to be at their advertised capacities. During the installation of Windows 10, some of them were used to create recovery drives, which I found to be faultless. When I need more thumb drives, I will check with this seller first if I can find one. It can be a real challenge to find a supplier of thumb drives I can buy in bulk.

My laptop read all of them and reported a 32GB capacity after inserting them, so I tested this by simply inserting them into my laptop to ensure that it could read them. They show the correct amount of storage space when I initially look at them. However, I continually get errors when attempting to copy to them. In the meantime, I'll only use them to back up my files. The process is taking forever. If you would like to give someone something, you should put it on. Do not use them if they need to be replaced. The play lists on them are terrible. It took me 2 days to put them together, and I got 18 of them. 22 GB are available, 1GB is available. I have 3GB of data and can't find what I'm missing. The frustration and useless nature of this situation is outrageous. Sometimes I had to copy one song at a time, and sometimes I had to copy one file. UGGH. It should be on more than one stick. When I try to copy multiple files, I either get an error that says there isn't enough space on the drive for the files I want to copy, which is wrong. Or I get an error saying that any files besides the first are already in use. It is not possible to copy more than one file folder at a time. Even then, they will say that there is not enough space in the middle and it will shutdown. This did not solve the issue, so I decided to reformat them to NTFS to see if it would think the files were too large. However, it did not work. I am keeping them because I need one right now for a project, but I would not order another one or recommend them to others. Also, they are the slowest to copy to ever.
It was a mistake to buy these, even though the reviews were five stars. If you try to format them in Windows right out of the box, you will get an error. Therefore, I used Rufus to format them as basic FAT32 file systems though they were not bootable. Music and a video were my intended additions DVD players and car stereos can play video files on these. I had a flash drive that locked up and said it had corrupt files when copying files (no bigger than 200 MB). I changed files and was able to reproduce the problem with completely different files after I fixed them. The same thing happened when I tried it on a second drive. It wastes too much time with them.
Moreover, since the end of these sticks has such bright LED lights, they are too distracting in the car or next to the TV anyway.
I have been using PNY and SanDisk drives successfully for years now. This sandstorm has made me decide to go back to them straight away.
Just to have on hand in the event that I need to share files with someone, I bought a couple flash drives. This is a great product, the packaging is great, and the performance is great. Although they may hold up under everyday use, I am not certain how they would hold up under heavy use. However, large files are easy to carry in them.
My favorite thing about this colorful little flash drive so far is how colorful it is. There are many designs I have created using my machine embroidery. My favorite thing about them is that I can color coordinate them, having Christmas designs on one color, Valentine's Day designs on another and flower designs on another. . . There are now four machines on which I use the flash drives. Having the same color on all of the machines is convenient, especially if I am writing code for a group of machines. Before ordering these drives, I was ordering grey drives . . . . . . It is likely that I have at least a hundred of them. . . My next order will be for more of these colored ones. As of yet, I haven't had any defective ones. As of yet, they are holding up quite well. The only thing I would like to see more of is more colors. . . Although the colors aren't as obvious as they should be, they let me pick out the ones I need easily.
