Questions & Answers
In the past two years I've been purchasing the yellow units with 128GB and one failed after I used it once. Could you please help me?
In addition to buying a few pair of 64GB flash drives, I've not run into any problems, except for when I stopped working while it was still transferring files. I was able to fix that easily. Due to problems with 128GB in the past, I do not use 128GB (no matter the brand). If you have problems with your drive, go on YouTube and see if they have a solution for you.
So much plastic generates heat, how do you deal with it?
There is a metal case on the product that lends itself to faster heat conduction. Our customers report issues with heat when the product has a metal case. The hollow plastic encased drive of this type and similar ones are likely to manage much higher temperatures while still operating cooler. My suggestion is that a destructive test is necessary in order to answer your question.
What if I play this on PS4?
I've never owned a game console, however I can imagine that it could be possible if it has a USB port - however, I found this on the net -Tip: PS4 only supports 250GB of usable storage, not the actual amount of storage. In the case your PS4 system rejects a drive that comes with an exact 250gb storage capacity, you will have your drive cancelled. Where does this come from? The capacity of data storage drives is always presented as decimal (base 10). equals 1,000,000 bytes, one gigabyte (GB) equals 1,000,000,000 bytes, and one terabyte (TB) equals This system uses binary digits (base 2) and is used by the PS4 device. One megabyte equals 1,048,576 bytes, one gigabyte equals 1,073,741,824 bytes, and one terabyte equals 1,099,511,627,776 bytes according to the binary numbering system. The 256gb of a USB flash drive is actually 256,000mb, which the PS4 calculates as equal to an exact 250gb in its system. There is more to the story than this. A 5 GB external drive). Accordingly, almost 247 GB of storage space on the 256gb flash drive can be allocated for use. The PlayStation 4 system is not able to handle files over 5GB. That's why if you're going to buy a flash drive for the extended storage purpose on PS4, the storage capacity for the flash drive should be at least 512GB.
This device has no adapter or USB), and it doesn't work. What suggestions do you have?
The adaptor isn't recommended for use with a USB drive. There is a high probability that the USB drive will not work with an adaptor. Android is a smartphone operating system available in thousands of smartphones. You may not be able to get the best compatibility between a mobile phone and an adapter. When backing up your cell phone, it is a good idea to use an OTG USB flash drive. MicroCenter

I don't think these drives are worth a lot
The good news is that they don't cost much. I have been buying these Microcenter sticks regularly since they were available at a bargain price of $70 for the 32gb version. The price doesn't change, and the size continues to grow! Because they're so cheap, they're a good deal. . . That's the main reason why people like it. There are a lot of reviews that talk about speed. There are other reviews that rave about it. Here are the details: A lot depends on it. As with any process, there will always be some variations with silicon. As you can see in my attached pictures, the numbers for the different capacities are very different. Oh, and guess what else? Similarly, if I had multiple drives with the same capacity, you would see similar variations within a single drive. A single piece of silicon won't perform the same way as another piece. The slightly higher price of a thumb drive is a way for you to pay for the "binning" process, which means that the company wants to use silicon that meets certain specifications. As far as I know, Inland (the manufacturer of the Microcenter drives) uses silicon from other companies that were rejected by them. The first thing you think is: "How awful! ". . . This is actually not the case. In a lot of cases, it's not the silicon that is at fault, it's just the original manufacturer's standard that wasn't met. This is why these sticks are so cheap, and why the performance varies so much from stick to stick. It's certainly possible to get into many technical details about these, but in essence, these are somewhat disappointing devices, but for a bargain price. They've been on my shelf for years, and while their performance is laughable, I've never had any of them go bad. Sometimes it seems as though I'm going to die waiting for some transfers to complete, but the sticks themselves continue to run. This is still the case even with my $70 32GB USB stick from 2009. In the case of a minicomputer, an HDD is not present. I use it to bootstrap the computer. There are a ton of variables in all of this. . . There are two possibilities: it will fail on you, or it might work perfectly for you, like it's done for me. . . These days, almost all products are like that. A sad reality, but true nonetheless. Luckily, Microcenter is willing to swap it out if it messes up.
With respect to the controller, I will dock them one star. It is easy for Phison chips to choke. It isn't feasible for me to read anything on a drive if I am writing to it. There is no way for them to read and write at the same time. Thus, if you're planning on running a live OS on it (such as creating a Linux stick), these devices don't make a lot of sense. During the process of downloading, the system may go unresponsive for an extended period while the controller attempts to figure out what it's actually doing. So to summarize, it is unusable for movies or music, or documents, or any other type of application. Little sticks like these are fine. It's just not a good idea to run them on a live OS. The performance will vary from stick to stick, but they've been reliable for me. In the event that you need something more consistent, then please do not be shy about spending more. These are my workhorses for most of my tasks. The tenth of October, 2102. I am still doing well. It's the third one I've purchased since I posted this review, and I have had no problems. My 32GB stick from 2009 finally died due to physical damage after I accidentally snapped it's plug. In the end, almost 12 years is quite impressive. I wish I could've seen how much longer it would've lasted, had I not broken it. Amazon is suggesting I mention storage capacity (as advertised, though consider Since there is roughly 15% overhead, 256GB will not actually consist of 256GB. I should also mention "ease of use" for all drives)
Amazon recommends that I do the same. . . You can use one of them. They all work similar ways. You can plug them in and put stuff on them. *And lastly, Amazon recommends I mention "warmth", which I agree is a good idea to mention. It is an issue if the drive is being used as a boot drive, as I noticed it when looking at other drives to serve as a boot drive. In idle mode, it is noticeably warmer than when idle, but it is not a cause for alarm. Because I would never mention it unless it is brought up to me, it never seemed abnormally warm to me.
You should never format
I have found out the hard way that when using flash drives like these, you should never format them. There is a yellow 128GB model available and it works great! Although it appears to be a true 128GB drive, it may actually be a 64GB drive that has been formatted in a way to create 128GB from a 64GB drive using compression. Compression is used on many server drives to store more data. DON'T FORMAT THAT DRIVE IN WINDOWS IF YOU NEED TO RECREATE THAT SPECIAL FORMAT! Consequently, if you want to continue to use the drives from this seller with their capacity intact, be careful not to format them. Just copy, paste, and delete files without formatting.

USB flash drive that supports USB 3 read and write
Plastic housing is adequate but just barely functional. The value is good, and the speed is fast. The USB 3 tests (see below) showed good read and write speeds. It is just adequate to have plastic housing. Although it fits the USB end properly, the cap does not fit securely on the other end. The cap had to be kept in place with duct tape. It is nearly impossible to put a round key ring through the square-shaped hole on the key chain, and the key chain will break if you do so. 3. USB 3 READ speed - copy from FLASH DRIVE to Laptop;4. 38 seconds were required to transfer the 00 GB file. The following two formulas are equivalent. The time is 5 seconds. I will run two tests (two); I will have no problems. A total of 81 GB (813 MB) was transferred in just 15 minutes. 3. Copy from Laptop to Flash Drive in 3 seconds with USB 3 WRITE speed;
2. Copy from RAM to FLASH Drive in two seconds with USB 3 WRITE speed;
3. In 90 seconds, a file with 00 GB of data was transferred to a Flash Drive. The time is 6 seconds. (Under 1 minute. I'll be there in 6 seconds);
0. In 34 seconds, 81 GB (813 MB) were transferred from the hard drive to the flash drive.

0 drive that's cheap and convenient. Compared to other USB 3 devices, it is a low-end product. In the case of something that will go away sooner or later, this is a good option. I have found drives like this one useful for keeping with system installers and utilities. A boot disk for Hiren or a Windows 10 installation drive would be useful for this. Based on its performance, this drives performs about as well as you would expect. The read speed is around 110MB/s, depending on the file size, and the write speed is about 9 MB/s under optimal conditions. This USB drive reads larger files faster than many low-end USB drives. However, it writes much slower, and it is extremely inefficient with small files, compared with other low-end USB drives. You will be disappointed if you purchase this drive to be a top-end, primary drive, especially for copying and moving lots of files.

The speed of the service is slow and the quality is poor
The first time I purchased, I was only able to get a USB 1, which was disappointing. A speed range of 38 to 102 KB/s was observed. I agree it is appalling!. We replaced the above with a second model which functions as expected. My top of the line PATRIOTIC MEMORY SUPERSONIC MAGNUM cruises at 81-95 MB/s, but my RAM performed below that. ISU was sustaining a 1gbps transmission through the MICRO CENTER SUPERSPEED. I saw this in paragraph 4. It is not possible to browse at that speed. During an infrequent peak speed of 23 MB/s lasting between one and two seconds, the speed was the fastest.

I would give it zero stars if it were possible
I purchased the 64GB USB drives as described, and they are just what I needed. . . As it turns out, they are simply 32gb USB drives. You need to be careful!.

It is incredibly fast
The Micro Center USB 3. 0 SuperSpeed 128 GB is extremely fast. There were no problems with the USB FlashDrive Memory Stick. This group, as well as the other members, impressed me so much I will now search for them all. Firstly, I would like to point out how great its design is - a micro board housed in a yellow case. What an ingenious idea! Because of its quality of construction, I believed this product would be a serious competitor among the bigger brands. What really impressed me was its performance as its name implied, "SuperSpeed. " I used it both indoors and outdoors. The flash drive was the best flash drive of its kind with only one USB port. Buying it has been a good decision for me.
