Good product. Compatible with the late 2013 iMac 21,5" Improves the team's performance. With the SSD, my computer's boot time dropped from 2 minutes to 22 seconds.
If the proper adapter is used, it will work with any computer.
I believe it would take an eternity to create a chart)). However, because this SSD has a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, it is compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s drives. SATA 1. Because it has a 5 Gb/s interface, it should be compatible with any system from 2010 to the present. Today.
I'm having a similar problem, but I'm in Trinidad, so I'm shipping to a skybox in Miami, where it will be forwarded to me in Trinidad. Please contact me if you have an answer.

In the morning, I clicked on add to cart and downloaded the Samsung migration software from their website. br>I then backed up my hard drive. At 5: It was delivered at 30 p. m. I began backing up my data. After dinner, I shut down the computer, removed the old SSD, and replaced it with this one, and voila! With a larger SSD, we're up and running. It's as simple as that.
With the new 870 EVO, it appears that this transfer is impossible. Samsung's customer service was unable to help. Multiple other copy/cloning companies failed to meet my expectations and/or responded negatively to my inquiries; it appears that this is partly due to the UEFI on my computer's inability to understand 4096-byte sectors (despite the fact that it can read/write once booted into Windows). Even a brand new Windows installation will not boot. (The boot media was 256Byte, and Windows PE recognized it. ) and it appeared to write to it just fine, but when I tried to boot from it, UEFI was baffled). I'm surprised there hasn't been a bigger uproar from people like me who are trying to spruce up old computers like my Dell 3010. Original: br>br>Original: br>br>Original: br>br>Orig This was purchased in order to replace my hard disk drive. However, cloning my operating system to it is not possible. There are 512 Byte sectors on the original HDD. However, the sectors on this SSD are 4096 bytes. It is noticed by Windows. I was able to write and read from it without difficulty, but I tried several software tools and they all rejected it. "Not enough disk space," says the Samsung Data Migration tool. "Incompatible Disk Selected," Macrium Reflect says. Clonezilla is extremely difficult to decipher! I contacted Aomei, who stated that they would not be able to help me. I spoke with Samsung tech support twice, and both times they were unable to resolve the issue. I emailed them (as instructed by one of the chatmasters) and received no response. And the response I received to my Amazon query was obscenely long. I'm in a pickle because my Windows is locked to Dell, and Microsoft doesn't appear to offer a way to move it that I've discovered. This disk is ready to be returned. It had the potential to be fantastic. But no one can tell me how to put it to good use. Please don't fall victim to this!.
Everything has been great since she was able to clone over her original drive. It was as easy as swapping out the hard drive and turning on the computer to complete the installation. It boots up quickly and shuts down quickly, and the programs boot up quickly as well. br>br>Make sure you have or can get a SSD to USB cable if you're trying to replace your hard drive and copy all of your files over. This is simply a drive in a box with some mediocre instructions. br>br>Instead of buying a new computer, this is the best upgrade option for an aging system.
I upgraded from a 850 EVO 500GB that I bought five years ago. I noticed that the 850 drive's performance began to deteriorate, but only slightly; However, it is apparent. The performance of the new 870 EVO was night and day after I used the Samsung Migration Software to transfer my operating system. day; This is fantastic! Fast start-up time, with an average of 18 seconds from a cold start.
The performance of the drive is excellent. It's better than buying a new computer with a hard disk drive. In an ASUS all-in-one PC from 2016, I replaced a spinning HDD. I experimented with two different Samsung copy programs. They appeared to be running the copy simultaneously. After that, I replaced the old C drive with an SSD, and Windows 10 was no longer installed. I went to the Samsung site that came with the drive, but there were no downloads for the 870 SSD there. As a result, I went with the generic option. I looked around and discovered another Samsung website that did have a copy version for the 870 SSD. Neither of them was successful. Acronis was finally used. It only took half the time and produced a flawless copy. The original hard disk drive (HDD) had a capacity of three terabytes. 5 inch. It's possible that going from 3 to 4 caused the copy problem. The score is 5 to 2. 5 size.
My old hard drive died (conveniently) shortly after I ordered this, and I'm very pleased with the results. The read and write speeds are incredible, and the extra space in the case is much appreciated. My new HDD has the same amount of storage space as my old HDD, but everything transfers quickly and the computer boots to the desktop in less than 10 seconds. Anyone looking for a better deal should consider this.
It was a breeze to set up each and every one of them. Assuming you've already checked to see if this disk will fit in your laptop via Amazon, Samsung's website, or your laptop's HP/Dell/Lenovo website and looked at the size and SATA interface type (or their offer to replace your disk). You can learn how to open your laptop on YouTube. I recommend watching the installation video first before purchasing the disk to ensure that it is within your skill set and toolset. The ones that require you to pry the shell open are the ones that scare me the most because I'm always afraid of breaking the tabs or pushing when I should be pulling. Aside from the anxiety, all of my installations went smoothly. The software for migration is straightforward. I have a USB flash drive that I use for everything. To connect the new drive, use a SATA cable (number 8) and select the old and new drives before pressing the GO button. Overall, I strongly suggest the Samsung SSDs. Make certain that the Magician software is installed. Apart from checking the performance, I don't do much with it. These are solid disks that are expected to perform well in terms of speed, durability, and ease of installation. It does not bother me in any way. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Before you replace your old disk, run it through a speed test. Stopwatch the time it takes to get to the first logo, the Windows desktop, and (somewhat subjectively) the time it takes for an app (such as a browser) to paint its first page. The first page took 41 seconds instead of 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Some of these laptops are older i3 laptops that don't boot up as quickly as my i7 laptop. Buy one. Excellent value for money!.
