For an easy access to my videos and pictures, the software it comes with has done an excellent job of organizing them. The volume of the audio is really appreciated. There is file encryption, so I do not have to worry that my data and files are at risk if this is stolen. There is very little that you cannot do with the drive (I use it in conjunction with a WD Red hard drive), and it can pretty much do anything If you buy this device, I strongly recommend that you use some cloud backup to back up your data in case of a hard drive failure, fire, or theft. It's a fantastic device I would recommend QNAP over WD MyCloud or Synology.
I like it because it's 1 TB and has 1 bay. A CPU with a speed of 7 GHz. Of all the NAS devices I have, this is probably one of my In case you're seeking a solid, quick, one-click security system, It has a small footprint, plenty of storage, and the drive is easily removable without having to open the box up. The setup software can be a little confusing, but once it is set up, the GUI is very appealing and user-friendly, with a vast array of features and apps.
Information about the configuration is incorrect. It is a capable product with some very poor instructions about how to set it up during the first time. It is the sole reason why I cannot rate the product higher than the overall average. The only other reason my rating is lower than I would have liked is because the manual instructions refer to an inactive Web site. In order to provide accurate and accurate information regarding how to configure QNAP's NAS hardware they will be releasing in the near future, it would be wise for QNAP to revisit and update their manuals and information.
