you are a gamer, I highly recommend this laptop for a starter, it is a very affordable, low budget gaming laptop that's great, as soon as I started using this, I left the mac behind. There are games on this laptop that can be played by the entire family. I did not experience any lag on high resolution and on high graphics settings. The hardcore gamers have a high amount of memory the mouse pad is too sensitive and the (N) button on keyboard is in the way if accidentally pressed the keyboard does not have any USB ports (not even an extended adapter) there is no DVD/CD drive. The laptop is my favorite one I've ever owned that I purchased last year. However, games at 1080p 45- 60 frames per second can still be run on the 1050 With 60 frames per second the i5 is very responsive all over. The temperatures, however, can get quite high while gaming, so I recommend repasting and using It is extremely easy to upgrade, it takes 2 minutes. There are two slots, one of them is A total of 5 drive slots, with dual ram slots that allow for up to 32 GB of memory. I like the keyboard, despite its shortcomings, and it is great to type on. The keys are the proper size and the spacing is good. The red design is nice, except that sometimes it stands out too much. It has a 1080p 60hz IPS display which does not display too much vibrant color, but it is still pleasant looking. In addition to being easy to upgrade, it is nice to type on as well
