Questions & Answers

The paper- 54G What are my upgrade options for 75K6) compared to the GTX?

There is a limit on how much RAM and hard drive you can upgrade.

My Acer Aspire 5 a515-A518 is listed as having 8 gb of RAM, how do I upgrade it to 20 gb The 56vk can be found here. The A515 is the only model available A 56 ve It does not exist in any other version There is a lot of conflicting information! ?

It appears I can only find one RAM slot on my Acer Aspire 5 A515-E This computer had an 8 GB RAM module in it and it was model 56VK. The module has now been replaced with a 16 GB module from the same manufacturer, but there is no 4 GB onboard memory As per the specifications, I have a maximum of 16 GB RAM, not 20 GB as claimed. The 16 GB of space I have is more than enough for my purposes, however the 20 Gb maximum apparently has no basis in fact.

It can be hooked up with a second monitor, right?

That's a given. InnoView portable monitor works well with it, and I use it for this purpose.

Do you have any issues running Minecraft and Stardew Valley on this computer?

As far as I can tell, I am running vanilla Minecraft without any problems. I haven't played around with the graphics settings much, but everything runs and plays well without any lag at all. It made it difficult for me to use the wireless mousepad because it would not work with it, but I think that's more my fault because I hadn't played Stardew yet.

The perfect fit for me - It looks like that will stay the way it is
5/5

It seems like few people have reviewed this particular CPU or model. It has been a week now since I've been working from home with this laptop, which means I keep it plugged in on my desk and started for eight to ten hours a day while I manage spreadsheets and email accounts. Several reviews are available for i5-based computers The 10210 CPU mentioned the terrible fan noise and poor sound quality, but I have not experienced either of these problems with my i5-5467 Occasionally, the fan turns on when I am not heavily using the laptop, but it does not stay on for very long and it's not am very pleased with the sound and video quality of the workout videos I play on my laptop. My previous laptop had been an i3 Asus for nine years, so my standards are low since my old one was much heavier, clunkier, slower, etc. However, this seems to be the perfect computer for what I need, which is mainly to facilitate my work. I come from The experience of living at home. As of now, I have only had a week to review the product, so I am limited in my experience. If anything catastrophically goes wrong, Please keep us in your thoughts. Please be advised that the following will be posted on November Despite the limitations, this laptop still does a good job. You won't have a problem!.

The value of this is great and can be Despite the fact that this is my third Acer laptop (the other two are still functional), this one has performed well in just two weeks
5/5

This laptop performs well and as I'm using 5 GHz network with WiFi 6, I'm getting tremendous speed. I have had good experiences so far with the battery life. The keyboard is slimmer than my old Aspire E laptop, and the number pad keys and functions keys are smaller, but they have nice tactile feedback, and the back lighting is nice. However, I am having a difficult learning curve in obtaining accurate configuration information. My laptop arrived with one 8 GB memory stick rather than a four + four configuration, as it has been reported in other reviews. In this case, you cannot exceed 16 GB of RAM, and you are limited to using only Kingston memory (per my own testing and that of Acer). I am sorry about that. As an extra bonus, I was able to add a second SDD (WD Blue because of the price) to the Acer laptop, which is always a nice feature. I found it more difficult than using my Aspire E laptops, but I managed to do it. It is necessary to remove the screw holding the Intel chip in place so the connector can fully seat.

It's a nice laptop, but the specs regarding the memory upgrade are A new laptop was needed for my work from home setup, and this one offered speed, wireless connectivity and sturdy construction With Wi-Fi 6, a fingerprint reader, and a backlit keyboard, this system is very reasonable in price
4/5

It can be upgraded. As a result, the M is now upgraded. I upgraded to two SSD drives from 256 GB to 1 TB for applications and my operating system, as well as adding a 1 TB SATA SSD drive for data since there is a space for an additional drive and the system includes an installation bracket and ribbon cable for this There is only one disappointment in the specs, namely, the fact that the system is only designed to support a maximum of 20 GB of RAM, and suggests that there is only 4 GB of onboard RAM, with the rest installed in an expansion slot. I replaced the 8 GB module with a 16 GB module, which amounts to the most available memory with the system. The system originally had 8 GB of RAM, but it was all in the expansion slot, so the maximum I could use was 16 GB. Even though it's older, the system is still fantastic, and 16 GB more than suffices for my needs. There is just a small problem in that the published specifications suggest you can host more RAM than your system can, when in fact, you cannot.

I found the mother board to be defective after less than a month of use
3/5

My Acer was telling me that I would have to pay $100 to have it repaired. My lesson from this story is I would suggest whether or not you were to buy an Acer on Amazon, whether you paid extra for the protection plan, or if you wanted a better laptop. There are no expectations for how this will turn out.

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this large, but fast, and quiet unit
5/5

To facilitate my work with Excel, Word, browsing, social media, blogging, and light photo editing Editing and other work that does not require translation This car is fast, it goes from 0-60 in 10 seconds (using the fingerprint reader instead of the password helps). There is a quiet feeling As a result, the acer won't even make a sound and is eerily quiet when compared to the prior Dell - inspiron 15 that I replaced. After doing my due diligence, the big bang of CPU, graphics, HDD, RAM, SSD, wireless 6, backlit keyboard, and fpr beat every other laptop on the market (there was an ASUS vivobook that competed for a little bit more). It is impossible to know what the build quality will be during years of daily use, but if it is half as good as advertised This is a decent product, it shouldn't become outdated in a few years. As of right now, my only complaint is that it seems to be getting worse A slightly crooked sticker that says 'Full HD 1080' appears on the left - I used to work in a computer industry at the bottom of the screen, but now I'm retired This QC guy's eye has been sullied by too much close scrutiny. Otherwise, I will edit this review if anything else is found to be wrong (knock wood).

He decided to buy his own laptop due to his love for the laptop his brother had. The keyboard is highly rated for gaming and they love the lighted keys.

I really like this laptop
5/5

It is beautiful. It was time for a new laptop, and I couldn't be happier with this one compared to my 2 year old Dell. The performance was very smooth and fast. The feel and look are good and even the set up wasn't too difficult for me despite the fact that I'm not a computer expert. far, it has served me well and is built well. I hope to use it for a long time. However, it would have been nice to have a built-in DVD/CD drive. They are getting harder to find in laptops of this price range. The laptop is highly recommended if you wish to get a top-notch laptop at a reasonable.
