Having a notebook type laptop with a built-in camera and audio makes it easy for me to conduct meetings on Zoom, to stream Netflix, to browse the internet, and to compose Microsoft documents (I have Microsoft office 2019 installed on my laptop). Other than that, it should not be heavy-duty or fancy. After a few weeks of using it, it has proved to be a very reliable device, with good battery life and a thin and light design. The screen quality and resolution are good. I was hoping the keyboard would have a backlit keypad, but it doesn't.

Since I received it, it has been a little more than a month. I can email, read articles, shop, and play poker on it. It came in a reasonable time and it came with Windows 10 S. I love it as an email machine, a reading machine, a shopping machine, and a poker machine. According to the chart, this is a Windows 10 laptop (even though it was in S mode). Although it seemed easy to remove or turn off, I was unable to do so. After making repeated attempts and using some foul language on the Microsoft community, I turned to their support staff before going It was the second response, the next day, which solved the issue, and I was able to get the computer to come I give props to the Microsoft community. It doesn't matter what Microsoft feels now, I can add any app I want the way I like it (hello Chrome, goodbye Edge). This would have been a 5-star if the chart had been correct or if the S Mode hadn't been present The review is a five-star rating. Despite its thin design and large screen, this device is powerful. Compared to my old HP Pavillion, this laptop has more powerful speakers. I think that's a good thing since the last one was on the quiet side. Additionally, it is lighter than my last one, and its battery has about four times the life of my last one. Even if there is a fan, I cannot hear it and the room seems rather cool. As of now, everything is going well.

There is a lag in the movement of the pointer. There were different things I tried to get it to stop, but it didn't work.

As I am typing this review on my phone (received 2/5/2021), my phone is in range. Who are you? As a result of completing an HP update that I neglected to schedule, my laptop can no longer be turned on. As long as the light near the power cord is lit, the laptop is getting power. HP Tech Support advised me to contact Amazon for an exchange or refund after I contacted them for some technical support. This is the second time in less than a week that I had a problem with the laptop, as I was equally annoyed with the hassle of returning it. In the future, I will purchase a MacBook Pro with the additional funds.

Microsoft Windows 10 Home is not what it claims to be. This laptop was advertised as having Windows 10 Home. This was the main reason for purchasing the laptop. By not considering other laptops that had Windows 10 in S Mode installed, I succeeded in avoiding other laptops that had the OS. As frustrating as it is to finally face this problem, I'm not eager to resolve it. Had this not been the case, it would have been higher on the list.
