I do not approve of this The zoom video is grainy
3/5

I am an Apple fan, and I like most everything about this new MBA, except for one very important flaw that nobody seems to mention. This is an issue with the camera hardware, which hasn't been updated in years. I cannot make zoom calls in decent light because they are so grainy. There is no way you can use a laptop worth $1000 which has a 10 year old front camera. It is essential to me to have a good camera. Now that we're all at home quarantined and making zoom calls all the time, it's especially important to do so.

The laptop almost meets all my requirements
4/5

What I liked Please note
This phone has a long battery life (one charge will last all day, for example. My experience was 16 hours, so it's true)
This new M1 processor is fast (the new M1 processor really is fast) - The laptop is extremely quiet (no fans, but it does not heat up) The light and portable design is a great feature - The resolution must be high for the best quality I liked Bright display I disliked Please note
The keyboard is mediocre, as it is with other MacBook models, especially in comparison to laptops like the Lenovo Thinkpad*- (With the M1 processor still being new, existing programs might crash more frequently. There has been some problems in Chrome lately) But I would guess that they will be fixed.

Make sure you spend as much money as you can on memory and storage If necessary, we can place a special order
5/5

A 12-month update The 2020 to 2025 period Despite the fact that I've had the M1 MacBook Air for three weeks, I'm still very impressed with it. It has an 8-core CPU, an 8-core GPU, an SSD, and 8GB of I have updated my YOU SHOULD TRY TO RECORD AS MUCH MEMORY AS POSSIBLE You can store as much data as you can afford. I can build one just for you based on your projected future requirements! It is important to remember that Macs last for a very long time and that how valuable they become to you or someone else in five or ten years will depend on how functional and usable they are. Hard drives with 80 GB of storage were considered huge a few years ago. It is also UPGRADEABLE. It was possible to upgrade the RAM. It is NOT possible to upgrade the SSD or RAM on these machines. One of the problems I have been having has been that I use a lot of memory! The number of tabs I have open at once can be quite overwhelming (I once had 50 (Safari) open in one browser and 39 (Chrome) open in another one. Affinity/Final Cut Pro) run in a background thread There is no denying that the dreaded Beach Ball has made an appearance. Basically, this alerted me to how the machine would be utilized and the length of time I would be using it. Storage can also be added through external hard drives. It will be slower, but it will get the job done. It's another story when it comes to RAM. Whenever you use up your RAM without a break, the system will switch to swap memory, which means it is storing temporary files on the SSD. It is explained by one of the YouTube reviewers (Created Labs) in this way Memory in RAM works like writing on a white board, which is temporary in nature. Using a pencil and paper to write to the SSD is similar to writing on paper. While it can be erased, if it is written on and erased for a long period of time, it will While it will likely take years for these M1 MacBooks to experience problems, keep in mind that none of the parts can be replaced. Both the SSD and RAM are soldered to the board.

*** Apple RAM is so expensive, if you can't upgrade it, get the maximum. In this case, it's Unless Apple really makes very high end Pro models with user upgradeable RAM after the switch from Intel is complete, I would doubt that they will produce machines with user upgradeable RAM after the switch from Intel is complete. I should also consider the fact that if I am going to be making a great deal of video edits, a M1 with a fan will be valuable. I think upgrading to a cheaper ($699+Upgrades) M1 Mac mini would be the cheapest way to gain better performance for the Pro Apps, but I have to have a laptop. This is why I plan to go back and get a new one (likely the MacBook Pro M1) with 16 GB RAM and a 160 GB hard drive An SSD with one TB of storage. At least for now, Safari is the best browser for running on the M1, at least for now, a note on browsers. It was always an issue for me when I tried to save web pages as PDF files in Chrome, because the images/text on the page would not show up. I have had no problems with Safari. Please note
The price will be higher from 2020). The (MNYH2LL/A) - I traded in With Intel's M3 processor, 256 GB SSD, and 8 GB RAM, the 2017 Macbook 12" is built to excel. My charging adapter is still in my bag It took me about 25 minutes to buy the M1 Late 2020 Macbook Air cable (which are both compatible with the M1 Late 2020 Macbook Air), so I ended up with an instant credit of $330. In my experience, the M1 model has blown me away with its speed and smooth running even with multiple programs open, such as Final Cut Pro X and iMovie You can use Logic Pro for this. The 2017 MB was a bottom of the line product and was prone to frequent overheating issues due to too many applications running at the same time and the single CPU Defeat at the port. The 7 core GPU model is what I probably would have chosen if it was in stock at the time of purchase, but I wanted 512 GB of SSD space, so I had to pay a little more by going with an As far as I've seen, the lack of more RAM is not nearly as important as it would be with Intel x86 chips, and is only useful I think when you're running lots of GPU-intensive Pro Apps. I think the bottom line is that if you're a person who solely uses a laptop for the office and other tasks, you should not buy this. If you mainly surf the web and always have a few tabs open, and never encounter overheating issues or the infamous beach ball not responding, or you do not have any malware installed, you should not experience these issues. In the meantime, hold off upgrading any Apple programs not yet created for the M1 chip until more programs are available that are built for the M1 chip. In contrast, if you are looking for a machine that is MUCH faster, much more capable, and much cooler running than the Intel models, this is an excellent buy and an amazing upgrade from any non-Intel model It is possible to upgrade the.

There was a USB C hub on it that It is a true marvel, the M1 chip
3/5

Fortunately, I only had to deal with it for five days. My USB C hub somehow broke after I used a third-party Apple's repair tech couldn't figure out the problem after a few quick tests, and the screen would not turn on. Oh, and Apple said they would have to replace the old one within a month.

The laptop is really beautiful
5/5

The price is worth it. The laptop is really beautiful. After upgrading from the MacBook Air that I had before, I now have a MacBook Pro. Compared to my previous laptop, this one has blown it out of the water. To be honest, it was not overly expensive and I found it to be well worth the price. The overall look is nice, and the keyboard feels good. With the larger touchpad, I was able to pair my Magic Trackpad 2 with it too.

This laptop is awesome
5/5

As of now, I have not heard any complaints. The program performs well and is very fast. My old MacBook Air was a 2014 model and I finally upgraded to this year's model. It's a serious upgrade from that entry and I'm very glad to see it.

This is an awesome notebook! own two MacBook Airs (MBA), the thirteen inch and the eleven inch, both of which have the previous form factor (the wide, body-colored bezel around the screen, 1280x800 resolution) this new 13 inch MBA perfectly improves upon it (almost)
5/5

I am

. It looks great on screen! In addition to its bright and sharp resolution, the thin black bezel compliments the 2560x1600 screen. Over 50% brightness is usually too much for me. I am

. There is no problem with the keyboard. Despite some complaints from users that it still stinks, I find this MBA far superior to my old MBAs and the Magic Keyboard. Even with the silicone keyboard cover I find it to be much more comfortable and easier to type than the old MBAs. I am

. It's amazing how long the battery lasts on Battery Life. No real testing has been done yet, as it is obviously dependent on a variety of factors (wifi usage, video streaming, HD vs 4k video playing/processing. There are certain factors that affect the accuracy of my results (e. g. , screen brightness, application used, etc. ) but I have mainly used the device for web browsing, watching videos on YouTube, accessing VPN for business (Citrix, EPIC), etc. I am really impressed with the work so far and have logged over 10 hours. I am

. The design looks great. This is a newer (I know the exterior design is a couple years old by now) design with great looks and feels. This form factor has nice weight and a good form factor. I am

. I don't own a fan. I like that because not only is it quiet all the time but you no longer have to worry about blocking fan vents on the bottom or back of the case while you are using it. It is really quite amazing that there are no fans on this laptop. I am

. The performance. For daily use and things like Chrome, Office (Word, Excel), Citirx, EPIC, etc. , it has been fast so far. I haven't tried gaming yet, but I don't have high expectations given it is a base model with Windows 7. The graphics processor has four cores. I have also found that the M1 is noticeably faster at starting up compared with my 2020 iMac 27" (top of the line) I am

. Even though Touch ID is great, it still needs improvement. Work very fast and the home button does not get greasy (which made it less reliable) as it did with the old iPhone. However, at this point, I really believe it should have Face ID. I am

. The Apple Ecosystem is great as always and is a definite reason to get the MBA. The Apple Watch can unlock the MBA easily (so you do not need Face ID on it With AirDrop or AirPlay, it is very easy to send or receive files. In other words, there is no end to it. I am

. You can get BIG SUR 11 with the preinstalled version, but you need to update in order to use it. It's not a good thing I am

. We still have to deal with WEBCAM. It still looks bad in FaceTime, Teams, etc. Shame Apple is taking so long to upgrade webcams on Macs (the 27" iMac finally got 1080p cameras just That one looks so much better than the camera on my MBA). I am

. There are only two ports. It's too bad there are only two USB ports on this thing - Charging and display port). The AC adapter is used to charge, so it leaves only a single USB port This C port can be used for other things, which is a bit Would have been nice if they had squeezed in (I think it would have fit anyway) a USB port Connect my wireless mouse to the USB port so that I can plug it in It would be nice to have a dongle, since I have never liked bluetooth mice, or at least one more USB-connected mouse This port is a C port. Apple silicon referred to as New Tech (M1) As of this writing, optimized apps are still being rolled out. Adobe Photoshop is not available at the time of I am

. Batteries still cannot be removed, no surprise there, which means that like all Apple mobile technology, the lifespan will be determined at least in part by the nonremovable battery With battery that can be taken out. I would imagine it is easier to replace the battery on an iPhone than on an MBA, but I hope it maintains a high level of performance for at least four years. As a whole It has a few drawbacks (mainly the webcam) but there are enough significant improvements that this MBA is really a no-brainer for anybody who needs an efficient laptop that doesn't take up a lot of space If s/he is already integrated with the Apple ecosystem, it can be a powerful alternative to notebook computing. So far, I am really enjoying it!.
