This computer is a dreadful piece of equipment. I bought it with the intention of installing a few minor apps, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Office, but it turned out to be a nightmare. br>br>In Windows S mode, installing Windows Chrome is not allowed. What's the next sensible step? Upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10. The Windows Store, however, was unable to do so due to a lack of updates. I went to the store to make the necessary changes. It did not, however, update. My pin was reset when I rebooted the computer. After waiting 15 minutes for my pin to reset, I was finally able to log back in, but I am unable to press the Windows key or do anything else. I'm going to return this defective item and replace it with a real computer. br>br>Invest in a chromebook or a desktop computer. Avoid Windows S mode at all costs; if a computer takes more than 30 minutes to even set up a web browser, you should be wary. br>br>Microsoft's obsession with shoving their products down people's throats has finally reached a breaking point.
Remove the S mode from Windows. I'm not sure what the problem is with this product. br>I bought this for my son's schoolwork and it works great. br>The only drawback is the Windows S mode, which prevents you from downloading apps from anywhere other than the Windows store. However, getting rid of it is fairly simple.
I bought this on Black Friday because it was a good deal, and it has served me well so far. I use it for work because I lecture classes online from home, and I like the touch screen and the size; it's quick and portable. So far, I've had a great time. If anything changes, I'll update this review.
This is a complete nightmare. I bought this for my boys for Christmas, and it's safe to say they won't even look at it because it lags on everything. The entire situation is dreadful. You can't even search for anything without the laptop taking an hour to load (on the SAME WIFI, I have an older laptop that loads much faster). So that isn't a problem. I'm just annoyed that I've squandered so much money, and my children aren't even going to use it: I'm unable to use it because it irritates me to no end!.
This small laptop is fantastic; it fulfills all of my needs. I'm a writer, and I needed a small, portable device to write my stories on. Well, this is ideal; unlike some small keyboards, the keyboard is comfortable to type on. I've watched movies on it, and I can easily plug in my USB drives. Now, if you're planning on using this for large projects such as music production, gaming, or video production, I'd reconsider and go with something else. This is ideal for college assignments, book writing, small business projects, and even social networking. I'm having a fantastic time with the mini laptop.
I got this on Black Friday for a great price because I didn't need much other than email, Microsoft Office 365, video chat, and internet (I didn't get it for games or video editing). This is exactly what I was looking for. The 2- One feature is fantastic, and my only wish is for a Full HD screen. But it has everything else for this price point. Freezing has been suggested by a few people. I've had no issues with this laptop, and the battery lasts the entire day. This would be ideal for a student because it has a built-in hard drive and can do far more than a "chromebook. ".
After I get everything set up and get rid of some of the bloatware, I believe my wife will enjoy it. The apps were not without flaws for me. There was no Facebook app that I could find. Which was odd, but I simply placed the Facebook web page on the home page. I would have given five stars if I hadn't run into those problems. Fantastic image in high definition.
Only a few functions are available. I'm very dissatisfied with the deceptive title! It claims that you can change from S mode to Windows 10 mode. You can't do it! Only if you pay $99 for the pro version will you be able to do so! If I had known I would be limited to S mode, I would not have purchased it. br>I enjoy giving instructions to my computer. The situation should not be reversed. br>If you don't want to be limited and lied to, don't buy this.
