br>For the size of the laptop, the speakers are quite loud. br>An everyday processor that is quick and easy to use. br>Log-in fingerprint scanner br>It has a high quality feel to it. However, it could be a little more adaptable. br>$350ish is a good price. br> &nb br>Storage is limited to 64 GB. Storage is cheap these days, WTH! (about 32GB usable) br>There isn't a standard USB port available (3. 1 (or anything else). br>Only ONE USB C port. br>Full-size SD card reader with 3/4 of the card protruding! They could have put a micro SD card reader in it and made it blend in with the rest of the device. Because the onboard storage is only 64GB total, I planned to use a large SD card as the primary storage. Fortunately, small micro SD card adapters that fit into full-size SD card ports are available. The computer had completely shut down. It refused to turn on at all. The product should be returned to the manufacturer for repair, according to Amazon customer service. In October, the computer arrived at ASUS. Now it's January, and I still haven't received my computer. For the past three months, my son has been without a computer to use for his online classes. Several times I contacted ASUS. Customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. We will contact you within 24 hours. 48hrs. I never received a response. The same song and dance are played every time I call. Each time I checked the website, the expected completion date had changed. This is completely absurd and unacceptably unacceptably unacceptably unacceptably unacceptably un It's completely unreasonable to expect someone to go without their computer for an extended period of time. I'm not going to buy another ASUS computer ever again! Spend your money wisely and purchase a higher-quality product from a different manufacturer.
I've only had this flipbook for about a month, and it now shuts down automatically after 2 to 5 minutes. Whether you're plugged in or not, your battery will run out. It's not because it's too hot. I haven't installed any software yet. I probably only used it for a total of 20 hours. My problems appeared to be resolved after I contacted Amazon support chat (over a month ago). I was assured that I would receive a phone call from ASUS the next day at 4 p. m. my time, and I even double-checked to make sure the call would be in my time zone. I waited until after 6 p. m. to see if it was PST, but I never got a call. br>I work long hours six days a week and have not had time to revisit the issue, but I am extremely disappointed in not only not being able to use my laptop, but also in the fact that CS has made no attempt to contact me to resolve the issue. br>At this point, I will never buy an ASUS laptop or flipbook again, and I will advise anyone looking for a laptop, flipbook, or other electronic device to look for something else.
My error was that I didn't look for other user complaints about the same issue among the higher-rated reviews on this "Amazon's Choice" tablet. However, anyone who has grown accustomed to the micro-environment can attest to the fact that the micro-environment can Other tablets (including modern Kindle Fire tablets) and phones with SD slots will be surprised at how bad the "card reader" slot on this device is; it appears as if the designers never want a memory card in the slot for more than the time it takes to upload or download a few files. br>br>The first miscommunication between the designer and the user. The SD slot, on the other hand, accepts the old-fashioned I would have expected the micro-SD card to be the same size as a full-size (postage stamp-sized) SD Card, and I believe most users would as well. Second, the full-sized card only fits into the slot about 1/4 of the way. br>br>Third, the SD (fingernail-sized) card only fits into the slot about 1/4 of the way. It leaves a half-inch of plastic dangling from the device's edge - catching on clothing, other paperwork, etc. Obviously, the card can't be left in the slot when the tablet is put away in a sleeve for transportation; it would break right off, causing the slot to be damaged. Third, the card never "catch" or "hook" into any kind of spring-loaded mechanism. similar to a mechanism When the card is properly seated in the slot on most tablets, it has a tactile "feel" to it, and the catch prevents the card from falling out when the device is shaken. A rubberized cover covers the opening on some devices with a full-sized SD Card slot. This tablet accepts a card halfway in and allows you to push as hard as you want without ever knowing if it's properly engaged - It's also possible to pull it out by accident without realizing it. br>br>Fourth, all the other slots are micro modern, which is a bit annoying. All of the ports are micro, including HDMI and USB. Why the discrepancy?/br>br>Fifth, the slot is rated to accept VERY LARGE SD memory cards - why the discrepancy? I was expecting to use it as a "hard drive" for the photos the tablet would be recording and editing. This contradicts the "Card Reader" description, as well as the poor mounting design, which suggests the designers only intended for users to move a few files from separate cameras into the VERY SMALL on-board storage. Remove the SD card from the board memory; there is no way to upgrade user-level memory without this SD card slot. storage capacity, such as a hard drive or an on-board memory device Why bother installing and rating large capacity SD cards if the board SSD drive is already present? This is deceptive. br>br>Neither am I a fan of "Windows 10 (R)estricted Operating System. " Yes, it's an excellent touchscreen. br>br> It is extremely light. The battery appears to be holding a charge. However, it was not what I required, desired, or anticipated. I'm disappointed in ASUS for creating such a bad tablet, and I'm surprised Amazon promotes it as a "user's choice. " What exactly do those users do with it?.
