OBS seamlessly integrates with this plugin. It will work very well with OBS and Resolve as long as the computer it is running on has the necessary resources.
Though I am not an expert technician, I installed the card, configured the outputs to 4 inputs (3 are cameras and one is a graphical feed via ProPresenter) with no audio through the card. My audio is fed through a separate USB Wirestream Pro makes it possible to integrate audio and video. There was no need for me to add any delays in order to synch the output from Wirestream. The lips on the images, as well as the audio of the songs and speeches, align perfectly.
Is it possible for you to have multiple inputs or outputs? The USB 3.0 devices that Magewell makes are high-quality. With WiFi, you can connect 0 capture dongles with HDMI/SDI (each has 1 input). NDI could be a good fit for your needs, depending on what you need A FREE way to get IP video over your network is to use Newtek NDI from Newtek, for instance, for video transfer from one computer to another or for sending gaming video across a network to another computer running OBS or something similar.
As soon as the software is installed, the black magic drivers must also be installed and the software should be run Once that is done, you need to make sure your project file is set correctly in vmix to 1080p 30 frames or 60 frames depending on whether you are recording or streaming. As soon as that is done, you can select a source from the list. If everything went well, you should see the sources listed as Decklink Duo 1, 2, or 3. When you are adding your source, be sure the source reads the output of the camera There is a huge difference between the camera settings and the project files that you should match or higher than what the camera is outputting to the SD card or you will have Using the Black Magic software for previewing the camera output to gather setting information is another tip I can give you to test the camera.
Selected User Reviews For Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 4ch SDI Playback and Capture Card BMD-BDLKDUO2
For use with OBS (Open Broadcaster System), I purchased a Sony 1080p SDI, SDI to HDMI and SDI to analog converter. Upon opening the little package, I immediately noticed a SD card which I could not read on my PC. The second concern I had was the small package contained totally no documentation. While searching around I found what I thought was the "manual" for the product, which actually isn't one. This is extremely unusual for me, but I've never ever come across anything like this before, and there's no actual manual with the product, not even in a digital format. In lieu of a user manual, there is a 700+ page "manual" that covers all company products, so you have to wade through 700+ pages devoted to stuff that has no relevance to your product or what you are trying to accomplish. However, there is a small section of the mega-project that has almost no visibility The DeckLink Duo 2 did not appear in any of the decklink duo 2 manuals however, they did have a manual for their capture cards. A completely different model card with twice as many inputs was only mentioned, and its configuration was fundamentally different from the model referred to. - In addition, there are five BNC connections present on the back of the card this is a major setback. There are no labels for any of them. I would like to reiterate that. This is a four-step process A board described as "channel input board" actually has 5 channels on the back that are not labeled, not "1-5 If you intend to use "5" or "1-" You can use the word "output" or anything else. Can you tell me if the extra/output channel is at the top or Is there anyone who Any manual indicating either of these does not have a diagram. I'm not sure what's going on. I mean it. What is wrong with these people that they charge $500 for a video card that has Other users have noted that you have to guess where to plug things in when it comes out of the box. There is no logic to this. We find it very troubling that information of this nature is not available. While hours and hours of fiddling around with this (and note that I did not have an unusual setup -- In their included software for recording video, I was able to record my SDI input signal, but I was unable to record the same video In total, eight different video input devices are available with the installation, four are Decklink Duo inputs, and four are WDW inputs. There were eight different combinations every one of them was tried multiple times. All I could do was reboot, reset, in various ways and nothing worked to get OBS to recognize
I would like to reiterate what I said in bold There is no compatibility with OBS for this product. I don't think so. Despite having been recognized by OBS, none of the 8 drivers work, and I have not been able to find any documentation that defines the different device driver names and what the differences between them are. There are also very bizarre settings in the "configure video" settings for these drivers these settings are out of step with what is normally expected, along with whatever specs are shown as the default for the input. There is no logic to what you are saying. Since I started doing video 20 years ago, I've done a lot of video. Adding insult to injury, Black Magic's support system is frustrating as well. A heavy amount of moderation occurs on their online support forum. It won't be possible to post until they have been approved by moderators who require real names as well as specific types of questions, adding to the lengthy process of gaining support from the community. Help is available if you can get it, which I wasn't able to find. It is extremely disappointing for me. It is not understandable for a company to produce products without even bothering to send out a manual, and you won't even find a customer complaining about this in any of the BlackMagic forums because they are meticulously censored to prevent anyone from hearing about it.
This would have been a great gift if I had purchased it Our family used to use the "triple head to go" prior to using this option and I'm so much happier with it now. Drivers are not needed, no extra boots are performed, and the application works without a hitch or extra steps once configured. We always had to reboot our "triple head to go" computer, it occasionally crashed, and we had to install special drivers that were a pain, especially whenever we had to update the computer's operating system. Having to explain the idea to volunteers in a church setting was also quite challenging. I was having a lot of problems with that card, but it works now. After it is set up, you won't even notice that it is even running, and it runs This unit can display three screens to the right, left, and center of the stage, as well as slides on TVs in the church foyer, as well as running announcements from the device. In addition to standard alpha switching, you can also use the black magic switcher with it A chroma key and color key Using keying is a great option if you want to do iMag (live camera feeds to screens with text overlays). In order to use this card with a Mac computer, you will need to purchase a thunderbolt 3 chassis. am unable to speak to the use of this card with Windows since we run all of our applications on Macs. Sonnet Technologies is the company you should consider getting a chassis from. I totally recommend this, particularly if you will be using it with Pro Presenter. I found a bunch of good options and we personally have found one that works perfectly. It is not possible to find a better option! I hope this was useful for anyone out there who is planning to use the app at church, school, or theater. I appreciate you reading and I hope you have a good.
Current version works without any problems, even in uncontrolled operating environments, and remains stable, may be used with 4 video input / cameras at 1920x1080 at 60Hz, may be configured easily, and its drivers are readily available from the website of the manufacturer. We are already on the third team assembled using this card since it is compatible with all the main streaming video programs such as OBS, Wirecast, and vMIX. We have tested each of them and the results have been satisfactory that we are already on the third team. I am at your disposal in relation to any questions you may have regarding this product. As an assembler of professional equipment, I may have already dealt with the dilemmas and problems that you may face, and so, I have the right answer. Get in touch! The #eltecnologoem.
In order to improve the visual quality of our curling club webcast, we bought HD-capable cameras This capture card is used with vMix production software to feed SDI cameras to the capture card. It is a little odd that the connector mapping to channels doesn't seem to be working very well. The concept has been explained, but all it takes is to connect a camera and watch what happens. As far as setting it up and using it for vMix was concerned, it was very simple. Ensure that you have an empty x4 PCI slot on your motherboard. If you are going to use RG6 coax cables, make sure the cables are of good quality The reason for this is that SDI is cheap The SDI power and coax cables used in Siamese or Zip cables will not work with HD-SDI This isSDI. In addition to the capture card, we have a Mini Recorder on our webcast computer, and after rebooting the new channels got rearranged after a reboot of the old channels. In this case, we had to delete the inputs from vMix and re-enter them Add them to the list. So far, we have not had any further problems since the first restart.
