For flexible system chassis installation, this kit includes both standard and low-profile slot brackets, two sets of mounting screws, and a 7-pin SATA connector. The status of the data transfer and the LED power. There is no need to install any drivers.

Questions & Answers

Is this powered by a PCI Express slot? Is there a sata power out on it?

Pcie provides power to the USB ports, but the m. In order to communicate with the ssd, 2 requires a sata power supply as well as a sata cable that connects to the motherboard.

Hello . Is this card compatible with my ASUS P6T 6E laptop? I'd like this to be bootable, if possible. cheers?

Yes, it is possible. I am certain that I am employed in the field of information technology. Non volatile memories (Stick harddrives) are divided into three categories. (The SATA bus limits these to 560Mb/S.) It's not a NVMe drive.

Is there a way to get a copy of the instructions? There was no instruction manual with the one I received. Is there a way to get it?

There's no need for a user guide. It's ready to use right out of the box.

I'm unable to locate the manufacturer's website; are external and internal websites mutually exclusive?

It's an internal PCI Express card.br>br>

Support for Linux, fast speeds, and flimsy hardware are all positives
5/5

Easy to install in an old HP slimline, with a sata connection but no sata power (no ssd). Closed the case after connecting to the ide bus. When I booted up Lubuntu 18 LTS, all of my devices were visible, and I didn't need to install any drivers. Yay! At 60 to 70 MB/s, data is transferred from an external spinning disk to the main HDD. The disadvantages: br>br> You get what you pay for when it comes to chip boards, which means you get the cheapest components. I plugged in the USB port upside down the first time, and it not only let me plug in easily, but it also broke the plastic connector inside, which means the port will always be fragile and could compromise data transfers. "Well, I'd never do that," I can hear you say. Okay! This is the board for you, if you never make a mistake. Just be careful, both for myself and for everyone else.

For a x1 slot, this is a cost-effective option
5/5

This adaptor is for you if the only slot you have is an x1 slot. A x4 adaptor is significantly faster if you have an available x4 slot. My SM951 M was a great camera back in the day. The read speed of 2500 MB/s on 2 in an x4 adaptor. I needed to use this adaptor because the computer I wanted to put it in only had an x1 slot. The rate of reading slowed to around a quarter of a mile per minute. 800 MB/s.

Although this is a good product, there are better options available
3/5

Pros: For small footprint chassis, the low profile bracket is an absolute must. The two USB ports A ports are extremely quick and dependable. The USB- The C port isn't easily accessible without an extension cable, but it's still a nice feature to have over a simple dual USB port. Extension card with three ports. br>br>Cons: The product does not support M, regardless of what the title says. 2 M- PCIe NVME solid-state drive and key interface The card is limited to SATA solid-state drives. It's a state drive, so you can only use M. 2 B- They are not the trend, and they have a key interface module with two notches on the gold finger. As a result, modules are becoming more difficult to come by, are more expensive, and have a slower speed than M-series modules. The card does not support a key NVME module (1 notch on the gold finger), because unlike the PCIe NVME interface, the SATA interface requires both data and power cables to work. There is only one cable that comes with the package. Why put up with the extra cabling when there are more affordable and widely used solid-state alternatives? a solid-state drive that already has a SATA interface You can mount it as if it were a physical spinning hard drive, with the space provided on the card serving as a placeholder for an odd form-factor. a solid factor It is inconvenient and expensive to drive in the state. Consider an inexpensive card (you can get one for $8) that supports the PCIe NVME interface as an alternative. The cost savings of using an NVME module instead of a SATA module is well worth it in terms of performance and convenience.

The adapter is functional - The use of spare PCIe x1 slots is excellent
5/5

It works perfectly with my old TZ77A LGA 1155 motherboard. I can't boot from it because my PC is old, but I can use it as a regular drive because my computer recognizes the adapter and NVMe SSD just fine, making excellent use of spare PCIe x1 slots. The build quality is surprisingly good; it feels solid, the SSD fits snugly into the slot, and there are no problems with the PCIe connection. If I decide to get another NVMe SSD, I'll buy the adapter again.

For AHCI M, this is a fantastic x1 adapter
5/5

It does exactly what it says. If you're looking to get the most out of your M, don't buy this. If you want to use an NVMe or AHCI M, this is the drive to get. Two cars are crammed into a computer with only PCIe x1 slots. br>br>Since there are no reasonably priced external enclosures for the AHCI (not NVMe or SATA) M. This adapter was great for installing an AHCI Samsung card into a computer with only x1 slots, allowing me to add some extra SSD space without having to buy a new drive.

Caveat emptor: the item title is deceptive
3/5

The device's headline claims it's an x4, but it's actually an x1. br>br>Device is functional, but your m is not. The throughput of a 2 x4 NVMe drive is 1/4 of its maximum capacity.

It was even better than it was described
5/5

The letter m was assigned to me. 2 for Christmas, but my Ryzen 5 computer wouldn't be available for another two months. On my old Windows 7 machine, I used it for DVR transposing. It couldn't boot, of course, but it could hold games and time slice live video if you followed the online instructions for installing Windows drivers. M. br>br>M. br>br>M. br>br>M. Is now in a new box, but only for temporary use, as it has been rocked. Just don't expect it to work with old hardware. br>br>On my m, the old pci v2 did around 500mbps. 2 with a native transfer rate of around 3000 MB/s In the old box, the SATA ssd was still twice as fast.
