It is true that the base of the unit has a layer of thermal paste. I believe it would be enough for the job.
As a result, using the stuff that was pre-applied, I am getting higher than 30 FPS at idle and mid-to-upper 60 FPS under load on a Ryzen 5 3600X.
There is a video on YouTube showing how to install their official software.

The maximum temperature I reached after stress testing for 30 minutes was 76 degrees. A 10 to 15 degree drop from before led to an average temperature of 8 C. We're in the middle of Although I am in California and it is 69 F, The temperature would be 5556 C) in my room. An increase of 8 degrees Celsius over ambient. It has a big screen, which is nice for the price. And it is very easy to install. By the way, the fan's cable is very short. That's okay obviously, since why would anyone want it bunched up like that? However, if I were to switch to an AIO, the layout depends on the size of the case, the location of the fan headers, and the mother board you are using. The following are some of the tips I would highly recommend.

My video card recently got upgraded, so I decided instead of buying a new CPU I would just get a better fan/heatsink instead. When I install this software I will be able to not only run my CPU with precision boost on, but I will be able to overclock it as well. In games, I run it with the default settings and sit between 62 and 67 FPS There are no words to describe how much I enjoy using this cooler. The one negative aspect is There was way too much heat transfer goo It is assumed that most of those ordering this have their own anyway, but if you don't, I recommend purchasing some good stuff and removing the OEM crap they put on.

Due to the fact that people like to skim reviews, I'll get to the bad parts first. Since I just installed this, there's not much that can go wrong yet in terms of defects. Having a single cross bar tie down is the only big issue I have with the design. In its fully seated position, the only thing holding the cooler in place is the crossbar, which has some freedom of movement where it connects to A minor problem with the fan attachment is the only other issue. It may be best to plan to have some bent fins unless you are prepared to remove the motherboard completely and assemble this outside of the case. In reality, the clips do not require much effort to get into place, but on the first try it is near impossible for them to line up and slip between the fins. Before installing everything on the motherboard, it would be nice if you could mount the fan outside the case, but doing so would block one of the mounting screws. I have a few fins that are slightly bent at the edges as it is. Although it has a few small flaws, I'm satisfied with the cooler overall. Currently, it's running about eight minutes per second Cools it by 10°C more than the Deep Cool downflow cooler that it held, which sat on top of a stock i5-3317K I don't think any adverse effects of this loose fit are occurring, or at least not as much as I would consider concerning. In addition to its beautiful appearance, it is almost silent even at full speed, so I have plenty of space for a faster processor when it goes on the market. If you want to build a sleek chassis or if your RGB needs are limited, the black is perfect. There is no indication of whether or not the grooves on the fan blades are functional, but I do enjoy their aesthetic. Overall, this will save you a lot of money. Although I had a fitment issue in the beginning of my review, I have no regrets so far with this purchase. There's not much that could possibly go wrong with the fin stack, and the fan can be easily replaced if durability is an issue (unlike the Deep Cool's fan, which could not be replaced).

Having used my stock cooler that came with my 5600 for two days, I found that I couldn't bear any more noise. When I was searching through Amazon to find this, I discovered it. I have no doubt that this cooler is worth the switch, as it's a lot quieter than the POS stock cooler, and Thus, this cooler is a good value at the price. The only thing I did not like about this installation were the instructions. There is a bigger hole that slides through the barrel holder when they are installed under the unit, so the barrels are not the best. There is no explanation of this in the instructions, so I spent a good five minutes trying to screw it down and I accidentally turned the barrel It was also challenging to find out how to stall the fan. With the crappy installation instructions, it took me about 10 minutes longer to install. Anyway, that was a great decision, and I don't want to remove it since the quality is so good and I'm just pleased with the result.

I wish it kept temps where I wanted them but it was really loud and it was just not that effective. I expect the wraith to hover around 50 or 60 feet high A temperature of 60 degrees celsius is ideal when idle and should never fall There is no noise from this cooler and its effectiveness is significantly higher. When the CPU is idle, it's about 35C, and it's never gone over 60C when loaded. This product was installed on an MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk motherboard, and was a bit difficult to work with. That is because I had the board mounted in the case, and the directions included are not very helpful. In case you don't watch out, you can "goof up" and lose the back bracket behind the board, which will require you to pull out the entire board. Luckily, I managed to install the bracket without having to do so, so do it before you mount the board. Despite the fact that I found it quite difficult, it was certainly worth the effort. All of it is very quiet because it's inside a be quiet pure base 500dx case. I would definitely buy it.
