I got this device, and it worked great, it did what it was supposed to do, and it did it I however required a simpler solution because I have a large format printer with USB connection and I've gotten sick of charging my PC to print from it so I decided to use one of the cat 6 cables that I had in my walls to connect it to. I connected the device with the power cord and it power up and works fine. After correctly pinning everything I plugged the device in with the sender/receiver boxes. Regardless of how I connected to the computer, I received a smooth workable signal without any lag or issues. The way I was running it cost me considerably more than using a single USB to cat 5 cable. Essentially I have a much more efficient solution that fits behind my PC in the bundle of cables and does not require an additional power cable to be stuffed inside my inwall I have a total linear foot of my line set that is about 30 feet, but I am certain this device would have come in handy is it was further out.
