The first thing I want to point out is that it's a superb device. When it comes to drivers, I can only comment on the Apple MacBook OS, Windows Server 2008, and Windows XP-based systems There were two versions of 7 Pro which contained drivers in each. As soon as I plugged my USB drive into the port, I received a screen message stating "your new hardware has been successfully installed." and I was off. Hardware should be easy to install on all new devices!
There is no need to update your sound card since the device replaces it. A pair of external speakers is needed.
If your speakers are more than one, you'll need a splitter or a card that has multiple ports for surround sound. Windows will only allow one sound device at a time.
The delay would be a reflection of the software that you use to process the audio. As long as the software tells it to, the hardware will do as it is told. I don't think there is a delay built in.

Three things I love. Some of the input and output 5mm ports appeared to be deteriorating. Audio worked just fine, but the motherboard hookup on the backside as well as the front panel only worked intermittently. In all Discord calls, the microphone input was bad to the point that friends did not want to listen to them. As soon as this was done, the problem was immediately resolved. Now, the quality of the microphone is as good as it has ever been.
I had a problem with my sound chip on my all-in-one computer. It was faster for me to close it and try to find the problem than open it up. It occurred to me that I might be able to use an external one, and bypass this My sound has returned, and I am glad that it worked. Nothing to be concerned about.
There are many occasions where your headphone jack is literally "messed up". Hence, it is crucial that you find an alternative to listening to zoom lectures or videos with headphones. In order to see if they would support zoom lectures and videos, I got these. First of all, the device worked for videos, but I read one review that stated it did not work for zooming. The fact that they miraculously worked for me during my zoom classes confirmed that this is not true. Making sure you have the right audio configuration is the key. You may adjust the audio to the "Speakers (2 - 4)" setting if you are able to do so Device that plays audio over USB. " You might find that helps if you have trouble connecting. Hope it helps) ).
I bought this to fix it. The digital audio noise that accompanied that problem has since been resolved, but there is still some in the audio. When you want to be heard in meetings, you need to dial down the mic in Windows settings to 50% or else high pitched chatter will be heard. I've had poor luck with the line-out as well, though it's not perfectly quiet either. For the price, the product is great.
A way was needed to make my MacBook Pro recognize microphone input from an 8-pin USB cable There is a channel mixer and speaker output. We can use Zoom to view or play a church sanctuary with great sound quality. It has also been used with a PC laptop, so we know that it is also effective there as well.
It's true that this device only has mono (single channel) input, despite the seller's assertion to the contrary in a response to a question. Apart from that, it is a plug-and-play solution, and it does not require drivers on either.
The adaptor is a device that has 3 mm TRS microphone and headphone jacks and it connects to my computer's USB port. I plugged the headset into the adaptor and plugged the cord into the USB port. This is very easy. I did not have to make any other configuration changes on my Windows 10 computer, and I am delighted to be able to use my favorite headset again.
These instructions worked on a linux as well as a mac. The loudness of the microphone on both recordings had to be turned down to the absolute smallest setting to get a listenable recording, and even then, it sounded like it was going to blow My efforts to find a solution ended up costing me days and I finally bought my own USB device (from I love how it works. This is a fake, so don't buy it.
