Although there is a 2 in 1 Headphone/Microphone jack explicitly stated on the product description, it does not function as either of these. My results were the same with both a PC and Mac, regardless of how I altered the sound settings. all you need is a headphone jack, it works fine, but that's not really what I was trying to find.

My initial thought was that I had bought a lemon and I was an inch away from asking for My mistake was that I was a bit premature in my assessment. The audio did not work at all when I configured my audio aux head into the auxiliary input slot on my laptop and connected it via USB. When I tried playing a movie, it didn't work. The sound does not work. Even though I tried watching a video on Youtube, I still cannot hear the It wasn't until I noticed that I hadn't fully pressed the aux head into the audio jack slot of the Hagibis USB External Sound Card Adapter that I realized what I had done wrong. Once I corrected that, I put on my headset and went on. It is still not able to play audio. It wasn't until I fiddled with the button on my laptop menu bar for about 10 minutes that I realized it was still not adjusted. With a few tweaks it came to life. I set it up as our new USB audio hardware, and my headset started working like a charm. The audio is crystal clear and there is no static noise at all. Even the speech recognition on my laptop worked as expected. It's an outstanding deal at an unbeatable price. This is definitely a recommended read. This review is intended to be helpful.

It is useless. You can only listen to (audio) A microphone is not what you need. While I was using this product with my iPhone wired headset and Windows 10 laptop, I was unable to speak (audio). There were no other Zoom participants in my room! In the headline of the product, it specifically states This adapter allows you to plug headphones and mics into the same jack. In this case, the statement is inaccurate. It is not going well for me. I think this is a waste.

There was no doubt in my mind that this would work for me. Windows autodetected the device when I plugged it in without any problems. After connecting my headphones and microphone, my headphones were able to hear sound without any problem. It's the microphone connection that's causing the problem. Before the microphone can pick up sound from your mouth, it needs to be right up against (practically IN) your mouth. It does not work after I have played with the Windows microphone volume and sensitivity settings. Since i thought my mic had suddenly stopped working (both working yesterday), I plugged my headphones into a laptop's built-in headphones/mic port, and my headphones and mic work and are working correctly again. My needs are not met by this brand, so I will have to find a different one.

Whenever you are buying such a product, you should think of the reasons you are purchasing the product. In my case, the laptop audio slot stopped working (probably because I dropped it). We need to use these wired headphones occasionally, so we just needed a workaround that still supports them. There is a bit of degradation in audio quality on this product. The maximum number of bits support is 16 only. For normal use, the quality of the audio is acceptable. For those who care deeply about quality, it would be wise to purchase expensive products that do not compromise that aspect. Getting a workaround for a damaged laptop is a good deal for this price.

It is not possible to use the 3. on macOS. Speakers in the internal jack and 5mm output jack at the same time. There isn't even a way to toggle between them. In the event that A connection is detected by the 5-mm jack, and the internal speakers are denied. I like this little USB sound card very much, and it works very well for me. The fix fixes a problem created by macOS.
