A single keyboard and mouse is shared between an Xbox and PC, allowing you to change between them. This switch is solidly built and very heavy for its size. I looked at four-way switches but the reviews were not promising, so I stuck with a single switch.

The switch I purchased allows me to switch between my work laptop and my personal laptop when using the j5create docking station. It was the USB cables that didn't plug securely into the switch box that was the first problem I encountered. The cables were loose and could lose their connection if they weren't positioned correctly. It was sometimes impossible to switch from one laptop to another when you hit the switch. In the last week, it came to a complete halt. After checking the switch several times, I decided it was not functioning. A switch similar to that from a different manufacturer works just fine for me.

The result was exactly what I had hoped for I would like a switch that lets me use keyboard and mouse on two different laptops, just a switch, not with anything extra for video, and is I'm all over this. A single yellow button to toggle the keyboard and mouse from one laptop to the other, quick response, and a small form factor so I can place it between the two.
