If you are using a video conferencing solution, the switch should be set up correctly if your computer and your home theater DVR use VGA output. If you can display the computer directly to the monitor, transfer the VGA output to the DVR and get a picture, the switch will work even better.
These switches are only three (3) wide in diameter. Every PC can choose its monitor or the big monitor can be selected using three switches. In order to select one of the PC switches on a big monitor, a third switch on the monitor is used. The only Boolean logic I can use to construct a layout that fits your needs is this.
Yes. This is exactly what I'm currently doing with it. You can use both your desktop and wall monitors as long as they have a cable lock. It is possible to connect to the VGA via a flat screen mount.

Used these units for work a lot and recently purchased one for mother for the switch between inputs that don't operate on batteries. If you're a technical person, getting familiar with the instructions can be a bit difficult, however when you look inside the unit, you can see it clearly how it is intended to be connected. You really cannot get any easier when using this device than you do when you use it. Even those who do not support abortion do. tech- There is aavy person (I). (my mother, please), a big switch that says either "A" or "B" is unbeatable. Using it requires a lot of effort. It's easy to understand, and you can change inputs (by tapping a small affirmative button) with ease when you wish. Despite a relatively short lifespan, the build quality hasn't ever been compromised. There is no consistency with our work units, nor are they in perfect balance; however, I have personally installed about 30. It is powder coated with steel and good for long distances. The case was well built with metal parts and good rubber tread. There's no downsides to it and its an excellent value for money. There are only two VGA input devices required on this board (no sound), so this is what you use.
This particular desk features three laptops, two desktop monitors, a keyboard, and two mice. Having two monitors with one computer was necessary. My fellow computer could use the other monitor, in certain instances.
1. Taking a shared monitor into the i/O port of this box 2 lets you connect the cable there. Take this cable out and plug it in into a port on this box and a port on the other end of our docking station 3. The box connected to this is for my gaming desktop PC and is connected over the B port. Since I use this station for docking my laptop, it is able to handle multiple monitors at once. Using my monitor box, I have both DVI cables going to one monitor, as well as VGA cables going to both monitors. With both monitors being connected to my laptop, I now have more desktop space. The shared monitor is now only in the PC when used for gaming, when I decide to switch to B. DVI has not changed on the other monitor on my laptop. In my opinion, that all makes sense. Within seconds, it worked. Despite this, neither additional cables nor monitors were provided. The old-school switch box works better than the push. With newer switches that only need replacing every so often, it feels like an actual switch knob may last longer.
These are amazing - to beat them it really is very difficult. Boxes for switching in and out of a classroom at school. Whenever I read some reviews on the buttons style switches, I decided to refrain from purchasing them. There's nothing inherently wrong about it, and it just works. However, I only run XGA (1024x768) at 50% capacity, so if you will need resolutions higher than this, I can't offer you a solution. One issue I have with this box is that for my setups with two video cards connected to the same PC (the monitor won't continue to show it as a valid connection), this box won't help with Windows switching between virtual desktop configurations. Utilizing the EDID Emulator in ConnectPro allowed me to solve that problem.
An entirely built unit in place of the server. Several weeks ago, a reviewer recommended this system and I was pleased to purchase it. It took me less than 5 minutes to set up (I have two computers and one monitor). I connected the cables to the switch box, and the two computers were connected, too. This doesn't allow you to change the display settings or anything else. Don't worry about it, you just do it. There is also the option to make the selection to "A or B. ". A lot of people rave about this unit as the best and the least expensive one they own. This is a very strong recommendation. Also, please consider the Amazon cables for installation- With good quality at reasonable prices, this product is professional at its best.
My teacher, who is also a high school coach, bought this so that I can easily use one iPad and one PC. In my projector, both output from the switcher and input from the switcher come from my projector. One second is all it takes. Upon connecting the device to the wall outlet, the system worked just fine. Set up took only two minutes. No problem with resolution is present with regards to image quality. There's nothing special about it. Would not have imagined getting anything better. Since it appears like a Radio Shack DIY kit, it is only cooler because it looks like one. This is my favorite thing I've ever had.
AN REASSESSMENT. BE ADVISED. As advertised, the devise does work. It dampens the color of the second monitor, in case you are watching TV connected to your second monitor. I wanted my laptop to be connected the TV's external input and thrown on it with a switch, rather like flipping a switch. As a result, the laptop fails to recognize the TV and communicate effectively based on the'middle-finger' error. This error can be overcome if proper software are used (ei, the PC cannot recognize the TV). man- Using a switch (clicking "), sub-imaged image is created. A separate auxiliary cable is also required for the sound in this setup. HDMI shouldn't be so hard to use; in theory, you could. A dual monitor setup allows the PC to play video. While this does not stand out as a particular product for JUST monitor / monitor solution switches. I would definitely choose this over any other above other alternatives.
Your digital video recording can now be done from a single monitor by using this switch. most of the time, I love the song. My only issue appears to be that after a couple years, if a switch is still not adjusted properly I notice when one of the RGB colors turns off (usually the yellow hue?). it makes sense to change how whites look to match how they fit on monitors so that black becomes white, then play with the switch a bit to smooth the colors out. An annoying thing to do for a short period of time.
