Phanteks PH-EC416PTG_WT Eclipse P400 Steel ATX Mid Tower Case Glacier White, Tempered Glass Edition Cases

I bought this to use in an RGB build because it has a nice design and a large side window. The quality of this case is immediately apparent as soon as you open the box. Even though this is an incredible case, there are two drawbacks that I would like to point out. First, due to the ram, the top of the case is extremely close to the motherboard, which makes mounting a radiator on the top difficult. Installing the radiator in the front is the only way to fix this. Because there is only about 1" of space in the front, the air is forced up and out. I was concerned that it would raise the temperature, so I put it to the test. I ran a load test with the front on and off, using prime 95 and core temp. The temperature differential was nearly 9 degrees Celsius, which is a significant difference. To increase the static pressure in your radiator, use a push/pull configuration. This isn't a big deal for me because I prefer to run push/pull in the first place, but I wanted to let you know. I'm using a Kraken x62, but it's not the one shown in the picture. 2nd. A rubber grommet sits underneath the knobs used to secure the glass window to the case. One of the grommets walked away, never to be seen again, because I was unaware of the. This isn't noticeable once installed, but it will always irritate me because I suffer from OCD. Overall, this is a fantastic case that I strongly suggest.

It can accommodate a total of six hard drives, each with a capacity of three. 2 out of 2 and 5" I believe that 5" is sufficient for most people. The case does not include a bracket for mounting a hard drive with a capacity of three hard drives. Unfortunately, the 5" interior of the case is sold separately. But, at this price, we can't expect Phanteks to throw in all of the extras, can we? br>br>Tempered Glass br>br>Tempered Glass br>br>Tempered Glass br br>It's fantastic and gives your case a very good feeling; you'll be looking at this panel the majority of the time. One thing I noticed during the short time I've had this case on my desk is that after a few hours, you can see dust stuck on the Tempered Glass. This Tempered Glass is so cool that you'll want to clean it several times. Be aware that this panel is made of glass and will break if dropped. Handling the panel with your hands should be done with caution. br>br>Led Strips: br>br> It includes a front-mounted led strip as well as an interior-mounted led strip. The best location is at the top of the case because it provides the best illumination and the led strip is hidden behind the Tempered Glass. If you want to add more light to the interior, the led strip has a connector at the end that you can use to connect another led strip. The Phanteks led strips are available separately. By the way, they're all in RGB. If you press the dedicated light button on the front of the case once, you can change the color, and if you hold it for a few seconds, you can turn off all the lights (good for sleeping peacefully at night), and the same process can be repeated to turn them on. br>br>I'm at a loss for words; I'll update this review if I discover anything else good or bad as time goes on.

On the, there are dust filters. This is a truly remarkable case. The air intakes are equipped with dust filters. Along with the power button ring and the underglo, the case includes an LED magnetic strip that can cycle through colors. Because everything is wired into a 12v Sata connection, the case light switch is the only way to control it. It has three modes: static, "breathe," and color cycle (rainbow). However, if you use a thicker radiator and fans, there is no room for a radiator. With an ASUS Z270E Strix Mobo, it just about fits ML140s at the top opening. Because the fans are mounted on the heat spreader on the motherboard, you must wire the CPU's 8-pin power around them. The heat spreader, on the other hand, has channels running down from the top, which helps a little. The airflow is great, and the built-in ports on the top are very handy. For cable management, it has Velcro ties built into the inside of the back of the case. The cables that come with the case are already connected. You will be taken care of. On the back of the motherboard mounting area, there are two SSD mounts. There is a large opening behind the CPU that makes installing any cooling system with it already installed inside the case a breeze.

I'll begin by mentioning a few aspects of the case that I enjoyed.

- Straps to hold cables in placebr>- grommets made of rubberbr>- psu shroud - psu shroud - psu shroud - psu a strip of light br>br>br>br>br>br glass panel made of tempered glassbr>- -filters for dustbr>-filters for dustbr>-filters for br>br>I had plenty of space, much more than in my old Corsair Carbide, and I ended up with a very clean build when all was said and done. Despite the lack of a radiator bracket on the top, air or water cooling should be no problem. If you go that route, I recommend a 240mm in the front. I didn't get the silent edition, but it seems to be just as loud as my old Corsair, which isn't too bad even with five 120mm fans and one 140mm CPU cooler fan spinning. My ambient temperatures are a little higher, which is likely due to the front panel's limited airflow. It's nothing major; the idle temperature is now 30 degrees Celsius, up from 28 degrees Celsius previously. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: My static pressure fans were blowing when they should have been blowing into another intake in the front, lowering my idle temperatures to 25 degrees Celsius. br>br>Overall, this is a case that I would strongly recommend. Especially considering the price.
