Questions & Answers

Is there a fan on the H510 elite?

Two exhaust fans, one in the top and one in the rear, both 120 mm, but it is possible to change it to a 140 mm in the top

Do you have to buy the parts separately?

A led strip comes with it, as well as two fans and stand offs. There are parts for certain things in the HD's cage drive included with it

A question I have regarding the purchase of the H510 elite is Is the hue 2 device necessary if I decide to add the NZXT fan RGB 2 to the back of my computer? Is there an option to use Smart Hub as well?

Thanks for visiting! In order to add another AER RGB 2 fan, you do not need to use the hue 2 home hub device. There are 4 RGB fans included in the system with the new smart controller v2, and the system can accommodate up to 4 of them

This case seems to have good reviews, but I am not sure why
3/5

To start off, I have done builds with cases half the price that were far more builder-friendly. The case comes with a cable management system, but that's pretty much all there is to it. There is no sense in the mounts for hard drives and they could have been designed much The number 5 is a mystery to me. For example, when it comes to installation, the 25" bay cannot be easily plugged into the case. This should have been designed to accept plastic slides that may be easily mounted on the side of your hard drive (like many other cases). It's not enough room in front of the fans for their intakes. The top fan slot had to be fitted with an intake and aftermarket filter in order to achieve positive air This fan is designed to be an exhaust, but since the intake fans have not received enough air, using it as an exhaust would create negative pressure and dust issues.

The build quality is probably the greatest concern for me. The bolts used were all VERY over tightened, to the point that the metal has warped where it was The only way I was able to loosen them was by using a power drill. One of the tabs on the bottom of one of the side panels snapped off pretty much immediately, so I now have an unsightly gap in the side panel of my case. In my first and last case, I'm introducing NZXT.

There is a problem with quality control! I
3/5

The problem My PC is built for the first time, and halfway through, I have the motherboard and everything in, but one of the balancing legs has fallen In looking at it again, I realized that the hole the screw was supposed to be in did not have any actual "holder lines" (lacking proper terms, I'm using what I can). If it fell on my monitor and all of my personal belongings, I would be in a world of hurt. Thankfully, it happened during the building phase and not when I actually had it assembled. This is a poor quality control issue, and I do not know what to do to resolve it. Could super glue be the answer?.

AIOs are the best choice if you're worried about heat
5/5

After reading the reviews, watching the videos, and really noticing how the front glass is causing a thermal issue, I decided to take a closer look at it. As soon as I built my PC, I knew I desired to add a good All in One (AIO) CPU cooler. In other words, I followed those steps. This case in particular seems to be very well built. I love how easy it is to work with, and how it helps organize cables so well. The fact that it was lacking drive trays was not such an issue for me, but yes, I agree that it is inconvenient to have to unscrew the entire disk tray to install the drives, but I don't intend to swap drives every time I install them anyway. I have a minor complaint with the case itself, which is how NZXT and pretty much everyone else can't just come up with a standard RGB scheme that would make them all comparable. Because I chose another brand, I am unable to get it to connect to NZXT nor do I get it to work with RGB Fusion. There is nothing to sync because the two are not in sync. As a result, I'm stuck with 3 different brands of various RGB lights. The final outcome looks amazing, in my opinion. Therefore, I feel that the build was just fine for me. Everything worked as expected. Although the price might seem steep for a case, you receive two 140mm RGB fans with that along with a 120mm non-RGB fan at the rear You are fine if you go all NZXT for your RGB. As far as Thermals go, even with the AIO on the CPU, I was unhappy with how warm the case was inside, so I added a thermo probe, and adjusted Since it was built as a gaming rig, the CPU gets less abuse than the GPU, so I attached an additional thermometer to (as close as possible) my graphics card's processor and set the temperature curves for the rear and upper case fans accordingly to correspond with the measured temperature. It was not the case for me. I would recommend this case if you plan on using the fans and like the NZXT software for the RGB, but if you plan on doing your own RGB, then the Elite is not for you. I hope you found this review helpful.
