Great case, but there is one major annoyance
3/5

For those on the fence and looking at the lower reviews, I gave it a one-star rating. This is an excellent example. br>br> The side panels are held in place with such ease that the screws are unnecessary. There is ample cable management space both inside and behind the case. The only tool required is a screwdriver for the motherboard. br>br>The front dust filter is the only glaring flaw. It rubs against the front fans, so you'll have to figure out a way to keep the filter away from them. br>br>While this isn't a major flaw, it may serve as a reminder to Corsair and others that this is a fantastic case in general. br>br>Note: If you mount your GPU vertically, there isn't much room underneath your video card for your PCIe cable before hitting the case's bottom. I received the Thermaltake cable, which is straight down. I'll have to send it back and replace it with a flush-fitting cable. br>br>I'd also like to point out how dark the glass is on this. It's difficult to do if you enjoy inspecting the RGB or fine details of your work.

The filter is sucked in by the fan, which creates a lot of noise
3/5

The front filter is flimsy to begin with. The case cable broke off when I tried to install the sdd in the front; there are two spaces for the sdd tray, but this case can only fit in one; I tried squeezing the sdd on the right side, but the flimsy case cable broke off, and I can't get the plastic piece that's stuck in the motherboard out. My motherboard became obsolete as a result of this.

The case is absolutely stunning
5/5

The first disadvantage is that there is only one USB3 port on the I/O board. 1(A- 1 USB3 (of the same type) and 1 USB2 (of the same type). 1(C- (picture included) type) The rgb board is only for rbg, not power, so there's no need for a fan splitter. There is no provision for a rear fan. br>br>Pros/Cons: br>br>Cons: br>Cons: br>Cons: The case is absolutely stunning. The white color is bright and crisp, the glass is crystal clear, and the RGB is stunning. The fans are quiet, and the airflow and cooling are adequate, though nothing in my build gets too hot. I think this is the most stunning case I've ever seen in person, and I adore it. br>br>After picking out some ssd storage upgrades for my pc, I had about $80 left over for my case budget. I didn't need a case, and it was way out of my price range ($120), but I couldn't help myself. So much so that I decided not to buy the SSD in order to save money on this instead. I wasn't overjoyed when it arrived; I'd been burned before, but upon closer inspection, I discovered only a small scratch on the inside and some grime(oil?). ) on the outside, which I was able to clean quickly. I've built a few PCs for friends and family before, all in NZXT, which is a brand I don't mind, but I could tell this one was built a little differently when I saw it online. I'd say the quality is a little better on this, and the paint has a nicer texture. The magnetic top cover/filter is very nice, and the front glass is very firm, even if it is a little scary to remove. A minor disadvantage of this case (costs) is the lack of a rear fan. I had spares but none that were nice enough for the RGB 4000x, so I bought one SP120 RGB pro fan from Corsair, which I believe is the same as the front fans. It fits perfectly into the RGB board and there are no problems programming it with the iCUE. The wire cover for the mobo- The bar is a bit of a mixed bag, but overall, I like it. It's a little tight and shallow, and it's close to the board; I like it, but getting cords into it can be difficult, especially if the sockets on the mobo are close to the edge, as they are on most motherboards. My SATA sockets are on the bottom of my board, so getting those into the PSU shroud puts the sata cables in a really sharp kink to fit in and hide. I found enough space in the back to hide the many cords there, but it's tight, as other reviewers have noted or complained about. However, I found it to be ideal because it makes the case feel a lot more spacious in other areas, and I have a lot of cords back there, especially with two SSDs, two HDDs, and a fan splitter/hub. IMPORTANT: Depending on how many fan pwr sockets your mobo has, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND obtaining a fan splitter. Because I only have four fans, including the CPU, I bought the ARCTIC fan hub, which has ten fans. For ten dollars, you can get a slot machine on Amazon. It's thin and small enough to fit anywhere in the back, though there's not a lot of room with the maxx 2ssds and 2hdds, which is a drawback. If you get the same fan hub as me, I wouldn't use the magnetic strips or sticker strips unless you're certain about the placement behind the motherboard. Because I have so many wires back there, I let the hub go. float back there, as I expect to move it around if I add more fans. ALSO IMPORTANT: While this case may appear to be $120, it will most likely cost you much more. At the very least, you'll need a fan splitter/hub that matches the back fan. Despite the additional costs, I adore this case and am very pleased with it. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Amazon, and thank you, Corsair.

Great case with a lot of room, good temperatures, and a great appearance
5/5

Black Corsair 5000D Airflow. This case is great because it has a lot of room for whatever you want to put in it. On the front and sides, there are six sp120rgb fans, one sp120rgb in the back, and a h150 capellix 360 aio on top. With this setup, the GPU and CPU temperatures are both in a good range. All of the fan controllers that come with Corsair aio and rgb products, as well as all of your psu cables, can be stored in the back of the case, so there is plenty of room. Keep in mind that the black model's glass panel has a dark tint to it, so if you want a clear view of your components, go with the white model. This case has a classic box shape that is both simple and elegant.

Everything appears to be in order; just pay closer attention to the setup than I did
5/5

It appears to be well-made and sturdy. For my AMD B450 motherboard, the standoffs were already perfectly aligned, and there were plenty of airflow openings (except for the two large square sides). The power supply's four screw holes are just a hair smaller than the holes in my Corsair RM650, so the last one was a little tricky to get in. I'd recommend doing some light filing with a round-nosed comb. To ensure that the holes in your hardware line up properly, section file them before installing them. There's plenty of room for more drives if I decide to add them (right now I'm just using a M. two solid-state drives). NOTE: The accessory box isn't missing; it's tucked away in one of the SATA drawers, accessible by removing the panel on the motherboard side, which is a good thing I did because Corsair support's response to my simple "where are the screws?" question was just a form email about returning the case. It's not very useful. br>ADDITIONALLY, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT: A micro-USB port is included in this case. USB isn't supported on the B450 board, and there's no way to connect it. For me, a standard USB works fine, but some people may be bothered by this minor incompatibility. All I've got is a micro-computer. The USB cable has been tucked away.
