The adhesive backing of the VR headset and two controllers is not sticky enough to hold the weight of the headset and controllers alone, according to some negative reviews. Yes, that's right! Yes, of There is a direct statement of this on the product page! There are screws included with the hook to help secure it to the desk or shelf, so the adhesive backing is intended to hold the hook in place while the screws are being installed. The product description on Amazon describes exactly what it is and it provided a clean and convenient place for me to store my Valve Index and Knuckles controllers, after having read it before I purchased it. That's exactly what I expected and I give it full credit for that.

Mount is terrible and will not support the Oculus Rift S, even with a new It held for about 10 or 15 days the first time when the adhesive gave out and the hook fell to the ground so I asked for a replacement thinking it might be a bad adhesive, but the replacement held for about 32 days before it went bad, conveniently right outside the return period

The adhesive on this does not withstand the weight of the Oculus Rift S. I have installed it using the adhesive and it does not withstand the weight it is carrying. After 30 days, I even used my own 3M tape to cover as much surface area as possible but this hook still falls off. Buy only if you're planning on drilling holes because this adhesive can't hold the weight of the Oculus Rift S at all. still haven't touched the headset yet. The worst part is that it would cause pain and strain to take it off and put it back on, so even if it sat on my desk, it couldn't handle its.

VR headset storage made easy and convenient

The Oculus Rift fits on one of these, and I bought one so I could hang it- This is the nearest PC to me. I could have purchased a more expensive version of this rack that can mount to the wall, but I wanted to save myself some money, so I bought this and attached 3M command strips to I really like it. Unless there is a problem, it should be able to be hung. Wrap the cable around the S and hang the touch controllers from it. It is excellent. I am pleased.

The tape had to be replaced

I had to replace the tape on the back of the box for it to look good. There was no stopping it. Maybe more tape should be added to both sides past the screw holes so it will work better. I simply covered up the screw holes since I wasn't using screws. The look is very nice, and now it holds the index gears without any I have updated The index kept falling so I had to add tape to both sides on top of the double sided tape to hold it up. To make the top lip bigger, they need to extend the length. The headset holder should likely be about the same size as the headset holder itself. A weight tends to tilt the whole unit backwards, pushing the tape forward and causing it to come.

If your desk is made of durable wood, you shouldn't buy this. What is the point of using these cheap screws on your product when it is one manufactured piece of metal? had already predrilled holes for these screws and they still had difficulties getting in, with the threads fully stripping before I could even get them installed firmly. In addition to scraping the rack itself as a result of my lack of grip, I also burned my fingers. Make sure the screws you use are not made of aluminum foil, so they are capable of penetrating hardwood. The screw extractor is now on my list of things to buy.
