Questions & Answers

Do you think it is OK to travel with an RV 65 antenna mounted on the outside of your ?

My apologies for the question you asked. No, you will not be able to drive on the freeway at that speed. It is best not to install the antenna permanently on the trailer, and make it easy for it to be removed. The main difference between the RV 65 and the Destination 65 is that the RV 65 comes with a camera. ?

Good to meet you! There is a fundamental difference between the two boosters. This new MultiRoom booster is a superior booster than the older and less rugged Connect booster used in These are both updated versions of the antennas

I bought it to use it for something else but it did not work
3/5

DB was in the green, then I wouldn't need to spend $650 on it. The moment I plugged in the booster, all the lights went green after I installed it according to all the specifications, 25 feet apart, etc. How cool is that? To see whether the green lights would turn red or amber, I angled the antenna in different directions. It was great to see the green in any position because I had good Weeboost, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place The number 105 is a positive number The reason I want to boost it is because it is 115. As soon as I turned on the booster, I received the exact It is therefore not of any benefit. Once it went to about a foot away from the antenna, I then took my phone back to the antenna Oh wow, that's great, but I don't like to hold the phone a foot away all the time. I called tech support and they didn't want to talk about it very much. repeated a weak signal that they didn't even hear the first time. My question is, if the original signal is too weak then how is it receiving such a high value at a distance of 1 foot? I am a logical person so I was trying to figure out. I was able to understand that the signal was being improved, but it wasn't being projected out of the It seemed to me that the antenna in the center was just malfunctioning as it should have taken some time to do that It must have been at least six feet away from the antenna for it to be pumped out. The original signal was too weak, so they just kept repeating it. Evidently, there is a scripted answer to everything, I guess. As long as there is someone willing to speak with me, I will go back to the past.

I have a Verizon customer here and this thing works well for them, but not so well for T-Mobile It is difficult for me to read long reviews on mobile, and I hate reviews that are paid or sponsored
5/5

Simply put, I don't trust them at all. As you can see, we have a real human customer who presents the details right away. There is one definite benefit to the Weboost destination RV it I've found it to be pretty effective so far! My Verizon data speed went from 0 to 1 as a result. A download speed of up to 5mb and a upload speed of up to 4mb It is sometimes 5 MB and sometimes 9 MB. Honestly, I'm a little surprised (see below for why). Despite the fact that mobile is slower than 0, it still makes sense. They throttled the boosted 2mb signal, but I was curious whether they did so on purpose Please see below for more details). This product takes a little time and attention to install, but it's quite easy. is filled with a lot of little boxes each of which is accompanied by a picture of what's inside. One of them was bought by me. With 5" Velcro straps from Home Depot, I was able to secure it to my Airstream awning, and the best part is that I was able to connect the antenna to my external satellite coaxial cable without going through any windows or Now that the booster and antenna are in my overhead storage, I have an organized and accessible storage space. Let's say that the long detail is now a big deal. Since I started camping around the lower 48 states in March 2020 as part of COVID, I've been working remotely for a university while on the road. I've spent over a year on the road now. It is essential for me to stay connected to my cell service in order to access a dozen or more meetings and classes every I found out how to find the best views and cell service on my trip. Knowing I'd need a "boost" occasionally, I bought the Weboost Drive Reach in the beginning of my trip in 2020, but it ended up being a complete waste of money. As far as I'm concerned, it didn't work for me, and I actually saw my signal and data speed degrade. It was an incredibly frustrating experience. I grew to learn an important lesson about boosters from this experience. There are multiple in and multiple out (MIMO) antennas on your phone. As far as I can tell from a layperson's perspective, each of those antennas is drawing in different speeds, and they total up to give you the best signal and speed possible through the Just like the two ears you have on your head- You will be able to hear everything you hear in stereo and in greater detail when you are in earshot of it. Using Weboost, you can turn your MIMO antennas into one single antenna and boost the signal to your phone in and out. As a result, one ear is covered up while the other is amplified. As I've already mentioned, I'm not an expert and am sure I got some of that wrong, but this is how I interpreted things from my The end result is that you won't get the benefit of multiple antennas and you probably won't see blazing speed with Webost (speed does, however, depend on the tower and the frequency). you're interested in an external MIMO antenna, you'll need a mobile hotspot with two antenna ports, and there will be an external antenna to help pick up signals. less of a boost and more of a passive activity. offered multi-user functionality it might be pretty nifty but there must be a reason that doesn't exist. Also, the Drive Reach is omni-directional so it might trouble following tower hops, potentially hurting your chances of staying connected. To maintain a direct line of communication, Destination RV requires that your external antenna be directed toward an area where the closest tower is located. The last part, and I think this is where they are being deceitful by not making it a very big warning, IS YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE BAR OF SIGNAL BEFORE BOOSTING! In the case of an inability to open a webpage without a booster, the booster is unlikely to be useful. To me, this was a huge revelation, and I hope it saves some people a lot of grief when deciding whether to get a booster or not. I threw it into a box and never used it again due to these issues and my failure to reduce data speed using Drive Reach. Wasting money is a big mistake. For the remainder of my workdays, I relied on being close enough to a tower to use my phone. By 2020, I had found that I would have to continue my nomad life in my home state of California, which offers decent reception in some places, but not great reception in many of the places I was interested In order to see what new products have been developed since the Drive Reach, I went to Amazon. I have experience with them so I figured they would not work, so I figured what the heck, why not buy it and just return it if it's a failure. It was also reviewed poorly in their previous version of the RV destination so I had expected the worst. Wow, I couldn't have been more wrong. Amazing! I was really taken aback by this! Having set it up in about 30 minutes, extending the blade antenna 25', and pointing the external blade antenna to what I initially thought was a tower, I was amazed to be getting two bars of 5g instead of one LTE and about 5mb of signal. There have been times in which I've gotten 70 Mbps up and down with just one bar of signal in somewhat remote areas (likely because few people were using that tower at that time). The speed and signal have been tested several times while trying to direct the external antenna, and I think I am at the maximum. As I was using these cables with the antenna and booster directly connected, I decided to give it a shot with the external satellite coax box installed towards the rear of my 2017 Airstream with internal RG6 cabling, which did the same job as the new cables right As you can imagine, I was thrilled I'll post pictures once it's not dark so it's easier to see my setup later. The only tool I had when I began my journey was a Since I was interacting in multiple cities and since each mobile carrier performs better in some regions than others, I chose Verizon on my iPhone 12 Pro (probably my recommended service if you do what I did), T-Mobile on my Galaxy S7 edge, and Sprint on my Galaxy S5. I use Verizon's mobile service on my iPad Pro, and AT&T's mobile service The Toyota Tacoma I drive has a T. Boosting for the Destination RV promotion did well on Verizon, but T-Mobile delivered an average boost The mobile boost program failed miserably (I haven't tried AT&T yet) (Test not completed). Considering how troublesome Weboost was initially, I'm wondering if something related to T-Distribution may have caused it What if a mobile device throttles itself when it detects it is I currently have an iPad with T-Mobile The mobile signal from the Destination RV booster is currently operating at That's far less than the speed I had using the booster and the same speed I had when using I lost the Reach in my travels and I'd test it with Verizon if I could get my hands on it. At least Verizon is on board. I'm so glad to hear it is working with this device. Once I've had a chance to use it for a couple of weeks and tested it, I will update with pictures. I am upgrading to 5-years of service after the 2 month update A star. I've been able to work for weeks on end (zoom calls, online classes, etc. ) without ever having to think about phone connections. Dialing into a tower is tricky, often I try to estimate where the closest tower is and then do several tests until I have optimal connectivity. Usually, I turn a small circle, run a test, turn a little more, run a test again, and keep doing that until I find the node that produces the A compass was mounted on it to help me keep track of my position. I am really pleased with how much faster I am now with even one bar improvement. T-I don't understand what's going on with him My problem is with Mobile, but I believe it is on their end, so hopefully it is just me, but I ended up ditching them all together and moving to Verizon Wireless.

The internal antenna is woefully underpowered
3/5

Booster works great. I am able to connect to a tower about 12 miles away, even with the mountains in the way. It did not have service without the booster, but had a continuous 3 to 4 bar connection with it. As a result, if my phone is one foot away from the antenna, I get 3 bars of reception The bars are four. The bar drops to two when you're six feet away. The height of the bar is 10 feet. There is no service whatsoever in the bedroom of the trailer (20 feet at most). A better internal antenna would be a much better value for the price. My brain also couldn't comprehend how they wanted you to attach the wall mounts for the external antenna to the side of the trailer. In this case, I simply installed the upper bracket so that it was level, and dropped a plumb bob (a string with a 1/2" nut on the end would work just as well) down from the bracket to mark a parallel vertical line down for the lower bracket. I had no problems with it. A star was deducted because of the internal antenna, and another star was deducted for the price, which is much too high as a result of the internal antenna being underpowered. The distance between it and the user should not exceed a few feet.

BUY WeBoostRV65 in order to enjoy its benefits
5/5

I'm in love with it. EVERY PENNY IS WORTH IT! The location we are in is remote. Due to the fact that we own a business, it's very easy for us to stay in touch with our customers remotely. Also, our family has four children who range in age from 15 to 21 Streaming movies and TV shows is what we love to do Staying connected to social media is an important part of their lives. Since we have unlimited data, this system makes it possible to do this from our mobile hotspot. It took us at most an hour to set up this particular location, when we were bouncing between 1 bar and no service. From the time the box was opened until the mess was cleaned up, setting up took around 30 minutes. Setting up the RV65 system is easily accomplished by following the Step by Step YouTube video made by WeBoost, which was previously downloaded. As a result of the WE BOOST, we are staying within the 3 & 4 range The 4g LTE network has four channels. Exactly what I was looking for, the WEBOOST RV 65 system is just outstanding. You get your money's worth with this service. It is a MUST HAVE if you spend a lot of time traveling in an RV in remote areas. It gets five stars plus plus plus.
