While I attempted to steer the phone in the direction of the local cell towers, it did not deliver a reliable signal, so I returned

It is very difficult for me to get cell coverage where I live. The unit must have the maximum gain set most of the time, but the situation seems to change as the weather does. Cellular coverage for the target site is 23 miles away, but it does not quite have line-of-sight I see. The installation is therefore sensitive for this reason. In order for the indoor and outdoor antennas to work correctly, they must be configured. Separation on both a vertical and horizontal plane is crucial. In order to get the best reception outdoors, the antenna should be installed above or on It is important that the indoor antenna is well away from the outdoor one, but should be located centrally in order to provide adequate coverage. There was not enough separation between the cables provided in my case to enable the cables to be properly routed between them. I had 50 feet of coaxial cable. There were also a lot of gaps in the documentation. No explanation is given as to how the automatic gain control works or how the flashing of the LEDs indicates how the unit is operating. It is not automatic to recover from the feedback between the indoor and outdoor antennas, and the unit must be restarted. It is necessary to reboot the unit to recover from the changes in signal propagation both between the antennas and between the cell site and the outdoor antenna that occurs when ordinary household activities change both signals. I think this is a good device, but like I said before, it might be easier to use in a stronger cell signal location. In my area, it may be harder to use. I am warm-hearted.
Research helped us decide on SureCall. Installation was a breeze since we were able to use a cable that was already in the house. There is an antenna on the outside of our house about 50 feet from our house. In order to find our closest cell tower, which is about half a mile away but bordered by large government buildings, we used SureCall's website help section. After the first day, we did not see a difference in the evenings, but the next day we had service What is the time it took for the signal to be picked up? In addition to AT&T, we have Verizon Wireless ATT cell service is bad and you are in a poor coverage The AT&T office is closed due to construction We lost our neighborhood's cell tower because it was 1/4 mile away, and due to construction WIFI has also been a problem. It was time to fix the problem. There were no bars in the home prior to the installation of this tower. The signal has now improved to two bars and we can make/receive phone calls now. The only time I've missed a call or a text is since I first installed. There are a few instances when the caller cannot be heard, but in the MAJORITY of cases the caller can be heard. I'm giving a 4 star rating for that reason. It is a product I recommend!.
Despite being in an area where there is weak LTE signal strength, we still use LTE throughout the day. Our 5G signal does not work due to the fact that we are somewhat out in the country. I'm talking about maybe one bar out on the street about 50 yards away from the White Neither inside the house nor in the garage do we get any reception. A metal roof has no effect on our energy use. Keeping this SureCell model in the garage was a smart purchase. Using the outside antennas at the peak of the roof and the inside unit about 50 feet later at the opposite end of the garage, I installed it myself. I had 2 bars for the first couple of weeks, and it was pretty effective. After that, the signal degraded to the point that it ultimately stopped working. As a result, I bought an 8 foot metal pole and some mounting hardware, and mounted the antenna on the pole so that it was about 8 feet above the peak of my Then we pointed in the direction of the cell towers since this is where the signals would come We get some signal from one that is farther away (not the closest, as it is behind a mountain peak), but from one that is far away. There was a need to add 10 feet of RG6 Coax Cable to the provided 50 foot cable run, to extend it further up to the In addition, I will ground the metal pole to an earth ground using #10 wire. Anyway, long story short. Now I have 3 bars and they are working great. This phone does not drop calls while you walk around with it. The AT&T streaming service is used to stream movies, videos, etc. This is a good deal if you ask me. It's T unlimited elite for about $50 a line. However, it is important to note that sure calls now work properly. After I finish the one for the house, I'm going to extend the one for my office, as we had similar reception problems there as well.
In times like these, I need to get within a foot of the phones to pick up their signal, but then they will hold the signal and work just fine away from the phones. It is also possible for phones to pick up its signal 20 to 30 feet from the source. There was a summer where I had 1 bar most of the time, but with this it was able to go up to full bars, signal went from 118 to 76, the lower the number the better the network quality.
It would not be worth it to me to bother with this product. I would have given it no stars if that was possible. The exact coordinates of the cell phone tower nearest to our house were found and with a compass, the booster was mounted on our roof on top of a pole 10 feet high! The antenna was at least 20 feet off the ground, above the tree line, and pointed directly at the tower, yet it did nothing to boost our ability to make or receive Your money is not worth it.
I installed it right after receiving it and regret buying it almost as soon as I do. Oddly, I get very little improvement from using it. My normal signal strength is 2+ bars of signal and this extension does nothing, in contradistinction to everything I read on The one being returned is one I bought earlier and didn't return, but the one being returned is the one I'm returning.
It is a game changer for cell service. The signal strength on all our cell phones (all companies) is very weak where we live in a very rural area of Pennsylvania. With new technology, I am able to send and receive calls, photos and texts more easily. In addition, the phone service costs three dollars There are 5 bars in every room of Despite my steel roof, I still have hardwood floors throughout. I liked how this worked for all carriers and was easy to install.
It might not be. I had the unit installed by a A company that offers Dish Satellite TV as a service. There has been no real change in signal strength. To be fair. It is possible that the signal strength is insufficient locally. We're going to say 2 bars before and 2 after the installation.
