Yes, it is compatible with smartphones. Keep in mind that this is not a loudspeaker; it does not fill the room with loud sound, and you must place the speaker close to your ear to hear it. This can be placed on the pillow next to your ear and is still comfortable.

As a backup, I purchased two of these speakers. up for my old Radio Shack pillow speaker (which is still functional). I put these two pillow speakers to the test on my radio the day they arrived. Neither speaker has any volume. I put my old Radio Shack speaker to the test, and the sound was loud and clear. It's probably a manufacturing flaw, but it's odd that both speakers are deafeningly quiet. When UPS scanned the return label on my return package, Amazon immediately refunded me. As a result, I'm pleased with how quickly Amazon processed my return. On the outside, these speakers appear to be sturdy, but they do not work. This is a product that I would not recommend.
This design has a number of fatal flaws that render it unfit for its intended use, forcing me to return it. The hard plastic speaker assembly is too thick to be worn behind one's ear; The Pillowsonic's hard plastic assembly is 16mm thick, whereas this one is 24mm thick. Regardless of the amount of padding, this is the difference between comfort and none. br>br>The driver's upper frequency range is too narrow, resulting in muffled audio. (Without padding, the sound is muffled even more. ) ) I'd be surprised if a spectragram could detect any audio information above 4kHz (human hearing is supposed to go up to 18 or 20kHz). Finally, the miniplug isn't machined to a high enough tolerance. It wiggles in the jack of my internet radio, causing intermittent connectivity, despite the fact that four other pairs of earbuds and headphones fit snugly into the same jack. Continue your search. br>br> I'll look for something similar to the Pillowsonic, but with only one speaker, because stereo speakers are useless when only one ear is being used.
After getting used to the bulkiness, I really enjoyed this speaker. It isn't as thin as some others, but it works well when positioned correctly in your pillow. In comparison to other speakers, I believe it is of higher quality. Wires have never caused me any issues. My purchase was extremely satisfying.
This speaker is ideal for taking on the road. The cord is the perfect length. I keep mine in the pillowcase and place it on top of one of the numerous hotel pillows.
While the sound quality isn't the best, it's still a great value for money and does the job - With it inside your pillowcase, you can fall asleep listening to music. I give this pillow speaker a four-star rating overall.
The cover helps keep the speaker in place, which is great for the price. I use it underneath my pillow and it works fine. The volume of the speakers is adequate - However, your results may differ depending on the type of pillow you use. The attached cord measures 65" in length and appears to be of good quality.
br>This is what we use on my daughter's AAC device so that the speaker can be close to her head while she is in her wheelchair. There are no issues; the highest volume is a little quiet, but since it's so close to your head, it doesn't need to be that loud. I've already told her SLPs about it.
I also purchased a set for my grandson's birthday, and he absolutely adores them; they are exactly what he was looking for! I enjoy not having a large headband on top of my head, and the earbuds are extremely comfortable. Mine is where I keep my audiobooks!.
