Questions & Answers

It's something I'd like to use as a dock for my alarm clock. Is there a problem with it turning off after 10 minutes and then failing to function as an alarm clock?

It does not include an automatic timer. You can, however, set an app like Pandora to turn off after a certain amount of time if you listen to music through it.

Is your phone charged while docked with this?

yes. I'm not sure what the output rating of the charger is, but the dock appears to charge the iPhone 5 faster than the Apple supplied iPhone wall charger.

Will the ringing of your phone be amplified by the speaker?

No, the volume of the ringtone is normal.

Is there a way to control this from a distance?

There isn't a remote control, an aux cord, or a Bluetooth connection.

For such a small guy, he has a good sound! I'm a musician, so I'm picky, but I needed a player for a small space in my acupuncture treatment room, and this appeared to be the right size and had good reviews
5/5

I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, so I was prepared to be satisfied. It certainly doesn't let you down! It actually sounds better to me than my old roommate's Bose docking system. While I believe the Bose can go deeper into the bass than this one, I believe the mid-range is better. Tone and high tones are much more crisp, and there are some elements in songs that I didn't notice with the Bose. br>br>I'm completely blown away. There are no individual sound adjustments (bass, treble, mid, etc. ) but it's surprising that it's not needed. Almost any type of music, from classical without vocals to rock with vocals, pop, and hip hop, will sound good with this track. Almost anything is possible. It sounds great! I'm so glad I went with this particular model!.

WOW, you get a lot of bang for your buck
5/5

What was the reason for the cancellation of this program? When I first saw the box, I thought to myself, "Not again. " When I touched the lightning connection, it wiggled. By turning the IPod Touch gen 6 on and off all the time, I was afraid it would snap off, but now that I've "played" with it a little, I see why it leans back. I have an iPod 4, as well as a Sony speaker station that costs twice as much as this one. What a stumbling block. The iPod 4 is difficult to connect to the older connection, and it does not fit with the case. It also stands up straight, putting pressure on the connection because it does not fit properly. The sound is terrible, and the remote control doesn't work with the iPod and breaks after six months with the features it does. Now it's time for me to introduce my newest speaker. WOW is all I have to say. My iPod fits in with its case on, and the connection rocks back to relieve stress. It's slim and compact, but the sound it produces is what really impresses me. I had no idea my iPod could sound so good. I had to get another speaker because my new one has the lighting connection, and the stupid ear buds Apple gives you never work for me. I end up buying several different kinds because they wear out quickly. I'm glad I took the chance. br>Here's hoping I get many years of enjoyment out of them both. I'm baffled as to why this speaker was retired. br>Pros: Cons: The sound is AMAZING. It doesn't come with a remote and is no longer available. br> It fits in my case perfectly. br> The price is excellent value for money. br> The lighting connection is supported by it leaning back.

Whether you're listening to music or not, it turns off after 10 minutes! The good thing about this speaker is that it has excellent sound (I've always been pleased with the sound quality of JBL's small speakers), and it charges your Apple lightning device while docked, despite the fact that the speaker's instructions state that it does not charge while docked

br>br>The worst part about this product is that if it doesn't receive an audio signal for a short period of time (10 minutes on AC power, 5 minutes on batteries), it shuts down. On the surface, this appears to be a fantastic, environmentally friendly solution. feature that is welcoming However, regardless of whether or not my phone is sending an audio signal, mine turns off after 10 minutes, which could just be a defect with the unit I received! As a result, the OnBeat Micro is largely ineffective. You must keep turning the device back on every 10 minutes unless you only want to listen to one or two songs in a row (three or four if you're a punk fan). My original plan for this speaker was to keep it next to my bedside table and use it to play white noise throughout the night, but it doesn't really work for that because it shuts off so quickly. JBL, are you serious? If you're going to add a feature like this, make sure it works or give the customer the option of turning it on or off. You don't have the right to make me turn off my electronics, especially if it results in a bug that ruins the experience.

This speaker dock is a good product with good build quality and sturdiness
4/5

I bought it to replace an old JBL dock for my iPod that my son had given me years ago (probably the first generation, given how long ago it was). Regardless, I continued to use it! And it was still great when I upgraded to my iPhone 6 and needed a new type of connection (thank you, Apple! ), I used it. When you do things like that, I really don't appreciate it! ) I decided to purchase this because I had had such a positive experience with this brand previously. br>Here's how it works: Advantages: br>br> The phone charges while you're using it, and the speakers are of good quality. Setup is a no-brainer. Simply connect the two. The piece is sturdy enough to sit on any flat surface. It appears to be just as simple to travel with as the previous one. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It does what other reviewers have repeatedly complained about--it does what other reviewers have repeatedly complained about--it does what other reviewers have When you put the phone in the cradle, it flips forward, and you have to adjust it every time. It seems like a really stupid and easily avoidable design flaw, but it's the only complaint I have, so I'm not too upset about it. I suppose I'll just adjust to it. Is it possible that this is why the device has been phased out? It'll be interesting to see if this annoying flaw is present in the next generation of this product. br>br>It's no problem for me to slide my phone into the slot in its case. However, I have an Apple leather case that is very thin, much thinner than the one I originally purchased and replaced almost immediately with this one. On my phone, I also don't have a screen cover. I'm not sure if these two factors are responsible for my phone fitting into this cradle while in its case, but it does so without difficulty. br>br>Bottom line: if this device lasts half as long as my previous JBL speaker dock, I'll be a happy customer. I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't.

The sound quality is excellent, and the price is extremely reasonable
5/5

First and foremost, I bought this for my 64GB iPod Touch 6G, and it has performed admirably thus far. A genuine Apple wall charger and another lightning cable will most likely cost as much as, if not more than, the price of this speaker dock. br>With my iPod docked, it looks a lot better. The speaker is a plus and sounds great for its size; I cranked up Kanye West's "Heartless" to maximum volume and could hear it from the other room, with a strong bass and no distortion. br>It's on my nightstand in my bedroom, and I'm not going to use it because it's cordless. Although 5 hours of cordless play is an advantage for those who require it. br>I placed an order for a second one to use at work. I'm looking forward to it. br>I wish it came with a remote control, but I suppose I shouldn't complain for the price.
