When you press the middle button, it usually turns on. My stand arrived broken, so I won't be surprised if it's not in good working order.

This RGB selfie light is the coolest thing I've ever seen, and it far surpassed my expectations. It's been extremely useful to me. I had to make a list because there were so many benefits. br>1. The ability to be versatile. I've been using it to create photo effects with the various color lights, to brighten up my work desk, to do my makeup, and to set the mood; With this ring light, I've taken a ton of gorgeous indoor selfies!
2. A sturdy tripod and a phone clamp are included. I don't have to be concerned about misplacing my phone any longer.
3. It's small and light. It's small enough to fit in my reusable tote bag.
4. Colors are available in a wide range of hues. The rotating color setting is my favorite, followed by the blue light.
5. For a wide range of shots, the tripod height can be adjusted. It took me only three weeks to realize that I could make it much taller than waist level (I'm 5'4).
This is an adorable ring light. It comes with a lot of useful accessories, including a bluetooth remote for controlling the camera from your phone, a cellphone holder, and a tripod that is much taller than I expected. The light is small in size, but you should be aware of this before purchasing it by reading the measurements. br>br>The white light isn't particularly bright, but it's adequate for close-up photography, and with enough ambient light in the room, it'll also suffice for photos taken further away. The colorful lights were actually brighter than the white light setting, in my opinion. One of the most appealing aspects of this light is its color palette. There are several static color settings available, as well as a strobe and smooth fade that cycles through all of the colors. br>br>My biggest issue with this light, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the cellphone holder in the middle has a bendy arm thing that awkwardly sticks out, and once you put your cellphone in, it's too much weight for the tripod, and it can cause the entire light to come crashing down if you don't set it exactly in the right spot. This could be solved by placing a weight or something at the bottom of the tripod to stabilize it. br>br> Another thing to keep in mind is that this light is USB-powered and does not include a wall plug, though most people have plenty of those on hand. Overall, I think this is a great light that can be used for a variety of purposes. It won't provide perfect studio lighting in a large room, but it will do the job and is well worth the money.
The ring light enters the room. There were so many options, but I chose this one because of the various colors and how much I like it. I like that it has a Bluetooth remote, that the heights are easily adjustable, and that the light is bright and perfect, with all the different temperatures. I believe I am now in a position to take my videos to the next level.
I'd like to be able to give three stars. Because 4 is too high and 3 is too low, I gave it a five-star rating. It's not a bad product, and it's ideal for someone who is just getting started with filming and streaming content. The main problem with this item is that it is extremely expensive. heavy, so I have to tie a cord around it and tie the cord to something heavy on my desk to keep it from falling over when I'm filming. My only other complaint is that the remote does not work; I tried replacing the battery in it because I thought that was the issue, but that did not solve the problem; however, the button on the cable that connects to a computer does work, so I can get around the remote not working. The light quality, on the other hand, is fantastic, and it's a fantastic value for money.
It was overpriced because it should have been a dollar store find. Everything was a disaster. So when the holder broke, I came across this one. It isn't bad. br>br> I use it a lot for filming, and I'm glad I got it for half price because the regular price is way too high. br>br>It was fairly simple to put together; the phone holders arm length made it a little difficult to twist on, but it worked. I also appreciate the fact that one of the three adjustable sections can be removed. The stand is made of lightweight metals that make it easy to move around the apartment. That said, everything south of the ring light is far TOO light in weight. Especially when it's raised to the height required to film me standing (I'm 5'7, so the phone is about face level). That's not even the maximum height it can reach. Its light metal arm stand would suffice in most situations, but the tripod leg system is made of the same lightweight material. The tripod's spread is also too small in comparison to the stand's height, making it unbalanced and wobbly (and not just when my phone is attached; it falls at the slightest brush of fingers with only the light). To keep it balanced, I have to tuck it against a chair, limiting my filming area. br>br>Not long after I got it, the middle of the three adjustable sections separated and can be pulled apart; it's loose and if I don't have something stopping it, it will spin to the right every time; if it were the removable section, it wouldn't be a problem; however, it's not, so it's difficult. br>br>The light itself is fairly bright. I wish it had a softer setting at times, but it still performs admirably with the brightness levels. I adore all of the colors because they are all so vibrant and beautiful. I believe that the slow multi-color one would look better if it was blended into the next color. br>br>The cord is nice and long, but I'll need an extension cord unless it's close to the wall, and the switch is in a nolice position along the cord as well. However, it has some limitations. I'll look into getting one with a remote the next time to make switching the light or color easier. Transitions between colors are nearly impossible to achieve with this one because the colors must be applied in a specific order. br>br>All in all, it's almost worth the half-priced price I paid. However, the major balance issue and the bar breaking shortly after purchase put a damper on everything else.
