In both a Switch and a Switch Lite, I'm using a pair of 256 GB micro SD cards, which provide excellent value per GB. Getting them to work was not a problem. Inserted the cards, had the Switch format them, and the Switch immediately recognized the entire 256 GB of storage.
A total of 64 GB can be obtained by using two 32 GB cards.

Both 32 GB MicroSDHC cards from Micro Center fail to format FAT and master boot. br>One fails every time, while the other succeeds every now and then. br>I get the same results with two different SD readers. br>br>These were Amazon Prime items (although they were sold by: Micro Center)br>When I tried to return them through Amazon, the following message appeared: "We are unable to accept returns on this item. I put it through its paces using two different applications. This review is for a 256GB SD card, which was about $10 less expensive than other cards of this size, and I'd been burned before, so I decided to put it to the test. The very first one I got was a forgery. It says 128 GB, but it can only write 14 GB. 9 GB before running out of space (16 GB card with 128 GB labeling). I ordered a replacement, and while the second card appeared to be different, it failed to write any data when tested. On the right, you can see the first one I received.
It's now used as a spare room. I purchased this card because Amazon stated that the 128GB card would work with my Agptek player. I've come to the conclusion that it isn't after numerous attempts to get the device to recognize the card. The card itself is in good working order - I was able to transfer my entire music library to it from my computer using the included adapter. The player has no idea what card it is. It's now a spare memory card, and I'm hoping to use it in a device someday; until then, I'm not going to sing the praises of something that doesn't do what I need it to do, and I'm also not going to dismiss the product.
