It was very easy to replace the rear camera glass and there was no problem. Taking care not to damage the lens, remove the lens cover carefully. It was simply a matter of scraping off the stock adhesive with the blade. If you find any glass fragments behind the floating camera, make sure to pick them up. I found the fit to be perfect. A little bit of an offset is present in the camera hole. It's probably about 1/2 mm thick. Although it is a bit of a nitpick. I am now able to use my camera again and I am extremely grateful! It's so sweet.
A few days ago, 2 days before deployment, I somehow damaged the lens on my Galaxy S9. There was only one shop in the area who would repair it, but it would cost me $100 and I had to order the part, which I didn't have time for. I ordered this new Prime lens a week ago and got it yesterday. It came with two replacement rear glass lens covers for the camera. All the tiny shards had to be plunked out with care but the tweezers did a great job! Although it was suggested to use hot water, I couldn't use that Within 20 minutes, all glass had been removed, the old adhesive seal had been removed, and a new one Afterward, I read that some people had issues with focusing the camera. It is just a matter of making sure all the glass is removed from the camera housing and that the new lens is positioned correctly. Lined up the top with the tweezers then pressed it down with a small pressure. A fix that should have cost $8 almost cost $100. I love it. It's my best purchase in quite some.
There was no way this could be as easy as it was. When I dropped my phone, I broke the glass covering the camera, and the glass from the lens you simply need to run a hair dryer across the lens for 15 seconds to loosen the glue. With the provided Tweezers, I was able to pull off the old adhesive from around the Over the old glass covering, the new one fits just fine, and the entire issue is resolved. The product is great.
Despite how easy it is to install yourself and the tools provided, it makes the process a lot more efficient. Removing ALL glass specs and old adhesive before installing. After the installation no fingerprints or moisture were on the lens, but after turning on the phone, the lens started fogging up. Like taking a hot shower and your mirror gets fogged up, it's easy to understand. As soon as I installed my first glass it got fogged up and I took my time to clean it so I took it out and in the process I broke it, my fault but not a problem I have another one. As soon as I installed the second, it became Since I seldom take pictures, I have kept the second one on, but the cleaner option is still better than allowing dust and dirt to enter. I am going to contact the seller about it, it seems like a simple.
A report I read pointed out that this could be done without taking the back off. So I researched and found out that this could be done. My order was placed since it was reasonably priced. We received it in a matter of In fact, there were two lenses AND the tools needed to remove the old lens and install the new one. A video I'd watched led me to believe that A (hair) blow dryer was mentioned in a YouTube video that suggested heating the old glue. I am very pleased with the results! of the pieces of the lens had been shattered, but I removed them and installed the new one with the tools provided. The problem was fixed in less than ten minutes. I appreciate your kind words!.
I was able to remove the broken pieces and install the new one. My $100+ repair bill was literally saved thanks to you. If you're replacing a lens, make sure you remove all the old adhesive and lens before you insert the new one. You may find it helpful to watch a You Tube video on the process first, since there are a few techniques This kit is fully equipped with all of the tools you need, and works perfectly. About ten minutes were spent on the whole process. My life has never been better!.
The rear camera cover for Samsung Galaxy S9 can be easily replaced with this item. Unlike the OEM cover, this has clear glass, so you can see the lens and the shutter. The original cover had a smoked see-through glass (it was difficult to view the actual lens), whereas the OEM cover had a smoked see-through glass. Photos don't appear to have changed significantly in quality.
To remove the old broken lens, I used a hairdryer to warm up the old glue. In order to clean the new lens, I removed the blue film on the glue side and used the enclosed microfiber cloth to remove the blue film. Once the new lens was in place, I used the tweezers to attach it. Less than five minutes were needed for the entire operation. I highly recommend it.
