No, there isn't a volume limit, but you can adjust it using your device's controls.
To be safe, I'd choose the gallon size. They could possibly fit into a quart-size bag.
Yes- These were purchased for my four-year-old son. They're small enough for her, but they're big enough for me to wear. They've got a good extension on them and they're still safe.
They work great for my daughter's school activities, and yes, they do work with an iPod, she says.

These are, without a doubt, the best headphones for kids on the market. We looked through a lot of them and are thrilled to have found these. The best features are:
1. They FIT. My three-year-old has a pair, as does my eight-year-old daughter. There will be no more complaints from the back seat about esr buds falling out or headbands slipping.
2. The audio quality is excellent. One of my biggest gripes with kid headphones is that they're so quiet that my kids can't hear their movies over the road noise, but this isn't an issue with these. Yes, a three-year-old and an eight-year-old should be capable of controlling their own volume.
3. They're built to last. They can withstand being yanked. The floor of the van is rolling. Backpacks are crammed in. These are some seriously tough headphones. br>br>I'd give them a thousand stars if I could. I'm overjoyed to have finally discovered the perfect kid's headphones.
ACTUAL REVIEW, NOT A BOTbr>These are incredible for the price of $17. I'm a semi-professional writer and editor. I'm a professional musician with a pair of Grado 125s, a pair of AKG K501s, and an EH closed-back microphone. back. These are probably about half as good for 10% the cheapest of those price of those price of those price of those price of those price of those price of those price The imaging and instrument separation, as well as the detail retrieval, are both excellent. The following are the only drawbacks: br> I bought these for the kids, but they're not exactly "kid-friendly" (though they do fit the 3 and 5 year olds just fine). Voices are veiled because the bass is a little heavy and the upper mids are scooped. I believe the left driver is slightly louder, but that is easily adjusted by placing them on my ears. br>Seriously, $17?.
I replaced two sets of headphones in my kids' classroom this school year with these. br>br>For $12. br>br> These are unbeatable for the price of 00. Make no mistake: these aren't Beats by Dre, Bose, or other high-end headphones, but they work great for what we needed them for, which was classroom use, and they haven't broken yet. They're also great for listening to movies on the IPad while traveling by plane. I'm not sure these would be my first choice for kids who want high-quality music or video gaming headphones, especially at $9. 99- $11. I won't be heartbroken if they break at 99. br>br>Here are some of the features of these headphones that I like: 1. br>br> My kids' ears are protected by cushioned cuffs.
2. The headband that goes around the top of the head is wide, so it doesn't dig into the top of the head and cause irritation.
3. The headphones can be folded up if you don't want to use them all of the time. As you can see in the middle photo, it's small enough to fit into a backpack.
4. The cloth cord feels more durable than the thin, cheap plastic cords that most other sets come with. The cord measures four feet in length. 9 feet.
5. Second graders remarked on the "cool colors" you chose.
My son's last two pairs of headphones (of a different brand) were recently broken. These appear to be nearly identical to the ones he had previously. I bought these because he likes the Oregon State Beaver colors and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on them because he breaks them all the time, and they actually fit him better than the previous pair, which were too long even on the shortest setting. Because the top is soft and squishy, it will not dig into his head. The ear pieces fall below my two-year-old's ears, so they're a little big for her, but she'll grow into them. The cord is nice because it's more like a nylon cord than just a plastic string, so I think it'll last longer than previous pairs we've had, and it doesn't get tangled, which is nice.
Prior to a 12-year-old's birthday, I bought two sets of these for our kids. Travel time is approximately one hour. They're a hit with the kids, and they even block out noise! The adjustable part fits both my 10-year-old and me! and a 7-year-old old. The jack is a little delicate, which is the only reason for 4/5 stars. I was adjusting the iPad cover as we drove out of the driveway, and it bent the jack and then broke inside the iPad. The broken piece was fully extracted after some delicate surgery with tweezers. I went back to the drawing board right away. The headphones were delivered on the first day of our trip after we ordered them on Amazon Prime! Since then, there have been no issues! I would strongly suggest them for the price- Just remember to treat the jack with respect!.
My kids have kindles that they use in the car, and I was getting tired of hearing two different movies, so I bought my three-year-old her own pair of headphones. They are a huge hit with her! They fit well, are designed for kids so they don't get too loud, and can be folded and stored in her backpack when we aren't in the car.
The sound quality is fantastic! For my 1st, we got a different brand/pair. These are far superior in almost every way in terms of overall quality to those of a 5-year-old. I'd like to take these for myself, and I may do so. Which is why I only gave them four stars. The smallest size setting is just a tad too small for my colossal-sized head. heading in the direction of turn- These are definitely for older/bigger kids than 3 years old. They don't have a volume limiter, either. It's possible that these will become extremely loud. But, once again, they're fantastic headphones, so we'll figure something out!.
She adores them, and I appreciate not having to listen to Moana over and over again! We've had them for almost a year, and she's worn them around the house to block out noises while we renovated our bathroom, as well as to watch fireworks on vacation. Overall, I'm impressed, and I'd buy it again if the situation arose.
